The space around became hollow, and the walls began to change gradually; the originally dark space quickly brightened up. The dazzling brightness came swiftly and vanished just as quickly.
Soon, Lin Fei's surroundings returned to normal.
But the surroundings had completely changed location.
First visible was the ground beneath his feet, as smooth as white jade, so smooth it faintly reflected Lin Fei's own face and figure. Yet, it bore marks that were not very clear and some dirty patches here and there.
Behind him were columns of white jade, some intact, some damaged. At the edges of the columns, even green moss had grown, and tiny insects occasionally crawled over them.
A few curvy green vines extended along the columns, clearly having grown for a long time.
Lin Fei looked up and around.
This place was directly a temple ruin; apart from a large hall without a roof, only the ground and some columns remained.
