20 Spicy Seafood Fried Rice

Gu Xin Ye scolded Qin Zhan in her heart. This man had dragged her over to accompany him to dinner, but as soon as the alcohol was in front of him, it was as if he had forgotten everything around him.

However, street food will always have a place in her heart. They might not be as clean as the food at expensive cafes, but the taste of their food would always be special.

Just then, the grandpa came over with their servings of seafood fried rice.

The smell alone was very inviting and Gu Xin Ye heard her stomach hummed a little song. She peeked at her fried rice and was surprised to see a generous amount of prawns, crab meat, and scallop. The eggs were golden yellow and the vegetable was colorful. The sprinkled scallion on top made the fried rice looked even more appetizing. Seeing the simple, yet beautiful presentation, Gu Xin Ye could not stop herself from taking a picture of her dinner.

Once she was done, Gu Xin Ye heard a chuckle. She followed the sound and saw that Qin Zhan was looking at her.

"It's just a simple fried rice, do you have to snap a picture of it?"

"Of course. This is the first time my boss is treating me to a meal. I have to take a commemorative picture."

The corner of Qin Zhan's lips twitched. He grabbed the cutlery and urged her to start eating.

Gu Xin Ye took a scooped the fried rice into her mouth and her breath hitched. The texture of the fried rice, the aroma of garlic, the freshness of the seafood, and the spiciness… everything blended into something close to perfection. Gu Xin Ye took another bite and thought that the taste of char heightened the taste.

This plate of fried rice deserved a Michelin star!

Just one bite at it made her wanted to cry.

"How is it? Good right?" Qin Zhan asked. However, Gu Xin Ye decided to ignore him and continued to eat. Seeing the way she reacted, Qin Zhan laughed before he spoke to the old man about it.

The grandpa saw the way Gu Xin Ye was enjoying her meal and walked over to give them a plate of side dishes.
