85 Twin Attributes

Both the Heavenly Demons and the Fishman party were sat round a fire cooking the meat of the Sea Kings Roman hunted earlier that day. Ori finally asked the question that had been playing on not only his mind but on both Roman and Shaya's too.

"Queen Otohime how is it you were able to see through the illusion used to disguise us?"

Otohime looked at the Demons with a pale smile as she replied.

"Ever since I was born I've had an extremely weak body, to the point where I'd be blown over by a wind that was barely stronger than average, but the gods were fair. To compensate for my frail body I had an incredibly high affinity to observation haki.

It awakened naturally when I was 2 and got stronger with every passing day to the point where last year it reached the peak and I became able to use my observation haki to see the mood of those around me and even feel it to a degree. Unfortunately though, because of my weak body I can't use my observation haki constantly like others at my level, but my abilities as an empath are on constantly for some reason. It has become both a blessing and a curse!"

Sabo who had just awakened his observation haki and didn't know all the ins and outs regarding what reaching the maximum level of observation haki couldn't help but ask curiously.

"Does that mean you can see into the future as well?"

"As well?"

Jinbei who understood what it meant to be able to see in the future looked at the young boy in shock.

Ori shook his head as he answered Sabo's question.

"Although every living creature has the potential to learn observation haki there are some who have special attributes. Like yourself who will be able to glimpse into the future when you've completely mastered it and Queen Otohime who is what is called an Empath. But for the vast majority, mastering observation haki merely means being able to expand their perception over vast area's and be able to analyse paths, patterns and basic energy sources of everything within their range."

Sabo nodded before asking another question.

"What are the various attributes?"

"Well like I already said there are those who can glimpse into the future and empaths who can see and feel the emotions of those around them. Other than those 2 there are those who can see the spirits of those that have died but not yet passed on, they're commonly referred to as shamans. Spiritualists who can see all the different energies of everything around them, be it natural energy dead energies, life force etc. There are also telepaths who can read the mind of others but the rarest of them all is the ability to hear the voice of all things!"

"The voice of all things?"

"Yeah they can hear the voice of any and everything. For example if you had it you'd be able to understand and talk to animals, understand the writings left behind by ancient civilisations despite never being taught and even hear the voice of inanimate objects that are deemed to have no life source like a rock."

"That's awesome! How do you know if you have the ability to hear the voice of all things?!"

"Haha there is no test you can take, it awakens naturally in those who are deemed as chosen ones."

Sabo nodded as he tried not to look at Shaya in case he exposed a secret that shouldn't be told to outsiders. He then looked back at Ori and asked.

"Is it possible to have two attributes?"

Ori chuckled as he knew that Sabo was referring to Shaya but was worried it was a secret. Shaya looked at Otohime and Jinbei who seemed to figure it out from Sabo's behaviour and question.

[If we play our cards right we might be able to turn Fishman Island into an ally and supporter in the future if they see our potential and feel as if we trust them.]

Thinking to there Shaya was the one to answer Sabo's question.

"It's called twin attributes and yes it is possible. Take myself for example, although I haven't mastered it yet, I have the ability to glimpse into the future and I also have the spiritualist attribute."

When he heard that Jinbei was stunned. Even though he had guessed from Sabo's behaviour, but for Shaya to confirm it stunned him.

[She's only 19 yet she's already so strong and she also has twin attributes? If she doesn't die early, she'll be an absolute monster in the future.]

Otohime could see from her emotions she was trying to win her support, but she didn't mind as she could feel that it didn't come from a bad place.

"You heavenly demons are full of shocking talents. A 10 year old with the time attribute, reached the elementary stages of armament haki, the initial stages of observation haki and reached the Staff Student Boundary.

A ½ mink ½ fishman with an incredibly pure bloodline who has reached the elementary stages of observation haki, the initial stages of armament haki and reached the Martial Artist Boundary.

A 19 year old with twin attributes, competent with armament haki, reached a high level with regards to observation haki and reached the Master Archer Boundary.

A 17 year old with a mythical zoan devil fruit, an incredibly powerful and unique power hiding in his body, competent with observation haki and has a strong grasp on armament haki surpassing that of your average Vice-Admiral and has also reached the peak of the Halberdsman Boundary.

And last but not least the captain, who may well be the biggest monster of them all, a 14 year old who also has a strong hidden power, a powerful logia ability, highly skilled with both types of haki, on the verge of breaking through to the Grandmaster Swordsman Boundary and to top it off he has a sealed bloodline… You Heavenly Demons are truly something!"

When they heard that, everyone without exception was shocked speechless. Jinbei and the other fishmen were shocked by the potential of each member of the crew. Especially the age of Ori. Roman, Shaya, Sabo and Silk were shocked by Otohime being able to see so much with just a glance at each of them.

Roman and Shaya instantly understood that she too had to be a Spiritualist to be able to see the various energies in their bodies, which meant she also had twin attributes. Shaya sighed to herself as she looked at Otohime in a completely new light.

[If her body was completely healthy then she too would more than likely ended up a true monster! She must've seen that I had 2 devil fruits but thankfully she didn't say anything as that really is one of our most highly kept secrets.]

But the one who was shocked most was Ori.

[Sealed bloodline? What does that mean?! I've always felt I've had another power hidden deep within but no matter what I try, I can't use it!]

Just as Ori was about to ask about what she meant, he noticed that her face had lost all colour and she was even struggling to sit upright.

"Queen Otohime!"

He disappeared from his seat and appeared by her side helping her stay upright.

Seeing the genuine concern coming from Ori made her smile.

[The rumours about him being a cold and ruthless individual couldn't be more wrong. He's just as caring as her!]

Realising how caring this boy was she couldn't help but warm to him more.

"Don't worry, I'm just a bit tired. Like I said before, actively using my haki is quite tiring for someone as frail as me."
