56 Training Three Brats

In the middle of a forest 3 kids no older than 10 were fighting a giant mountain tiger. The oldest of the trio was a short haired blonde 10 year old boy wearing a pair of blue short, blue shirt, white cravat, black jacket and black top hat with a pair of blue goggles wrapped round it whilst holding a long pipe he was using as a staff. That boy was Sabo!

The other was a wild black haired youth who looked about 9 or 10 wearing a pair of black shorts and a red vest also holding a long pipe for a staff. He was the cousin of Roman and Orion; Portgas D. Ace!

The youngest of the trio was a boy who looked to be about 6 with short messy hair he had a blue buttoned vest and a straw hat on his head. He was the cousin of Shaya; Monkey D. Luffy!

"Ace, Luffy, I'll get it's attention you guys set up the attack… Oii oversized kitten, I'm over here, catch me if you can!"

Whilst Sabo was drawing the tiger's attention Ace and Luffy were stood between two trees. Luffy had wrapped an arm round each tree and walked back making a sort of sling shot. It was obvious he had eaten the rubber fruit allowing his arms to stretch like no human should be able to.

"Ace, I'm ready!"

When he was as far back as could be, Ace came and stood just in front of him as if he was the ammo.

"Sabo, we're ready over here!"

As he said that the Sabo changed direction running towards the other 2 with the tiger chasing just behind him.

"Coming over now!"

When Ace and Luffy stood between the trees thought the tiger was in range they started their attack. Luffy stopped leaning back and launched himself forward taking Ace with him.

"Gomu Gomu no…"

As he said that Ace finished his sentence mid air flying towards the tiger.

"Rocket!"

He flew directly into the tiger hitting it on the nose with the pipe in his hand!

On a cliff not too far away, Orion, Roman and Shaya were watching the battle with a smile on their faces. Shaya nodded her head appreciatively as she said.

"Ooh, not bad!"

Orion nodded.

"Yeah. But it's not enough!"

As he said that, the tiger who was just hit on the nose roared in anger before sending Ace flying with a paw before chasing after him.

Seeing that, Luffy and Sabo shouted in fear as they ran towards him.

"ACE!"

Just as the tiger was on top of him about to take a bite out of Ace a young light skinned man with a large sword on his back appeared out of thin air standing between Ace and the tiger. He stretched his handout in front of him as if telling the tiger to stop. The young man was Orion.

"Scram!"

As he said that a wave of spiritual pressure crashed against the tiger scaring it senseless. It edged back till it hit the tree line where it turned away and ran off in fear of its life.

Seeing the tiger run off with it's tail between it's legs, Orion turned around to look at the boy on the floor behind him. He stretched out his hand in an effort to help him up as he said with a teasing smile.

"You can stop your shaking the big bad kitten's gone!"

Ace was about to take the hand of his saviour till he heard what he said.

"Who's shaking? You shitty old bastard!"

Hearing this little cousin of his call him "old" made Orion's eyebrows twitch in annoyance.

"Old?!"

Knock!

Orion gave him knock on the top of his head.

"What was that for you bastard!"

Knock!

"Stop that you old geezer!"

Knock!

"Quit it already you old fart!"

Knock!

"…"

Seeing him finally stop talking, Ori let out a satisfied smile.

"Finally you stop insulting your saviour!"

Whilst the two cousins were "talking", Luffy and Sabo finally made their way over, still in shock over what just happened.

Luffy looked at Orion with stars in his eyes.

"Big bro that was awesome. The way you sent that mountain tiger running with just one word… Teach me how to do that!"

Sabo didn't say anything, but he was also impressed by his strength.

"So you're Ace, you're Luffy and you're Sabo, right?"

Sabo looked at him sceptically as he asked wearily.

"How do you already know our names?"

"We were watching your fight from the top of the cliff and we heard you call each other by your names."

"We?"

Orion nodded as he pointed to two figures walking towards them from the cliff. When the trio saw the young man and woman walking towards them Ace looked at the young black haired man feeling as if there was something familiar about him.

Luffy turned back to Ori and asked.

"Who are they? Are they just as strong as you?!"

Ori nodded with a smile.

"Pretty much!"

Luffy looked at them in awe before turning back to Orion.

"Can you teach me to be that strong?"

Orion stroked his chin with his thumb and index finger pretending to think about his answer.

"I would but I don't think you'd be able to handle the training, I mean just now this brat was shaking in his pants over a little kitten, I actually thought he was going to piss his pants for a second there."

"Who was going to piss their pants you old bastard!"

Knock!

"Oww!"

Shaya shook her head helplessly at Ori's behaviour. Roman on the other hand kept looking at the young Ace studying his features.

[Other than me this is the only Gol D. left…]

Orion ignored Ace's reaction as he carried on.

"We'll only be staying on the island for a month… Training you isn't impossible but it'll be more difficult than anything you've ever experienced in your little lives! Every night you'll feel like your body's dying from the pain. Hell actual death isn't impossible… You sure you want us to train you?"

None of the boys replied immediately. Orion used their pause as a chance to mock them.

"If you're scared already then you definitely shouldn't agree to the training, just stick to fighting kittens."

Hearing his teasing only served to motivate the three boys. Ace looked at the other two before saying.

"We're in!"

Orion looked at the trio as he said sternly.

"If we do this we won't allow you to quit last minute, so now's your last chance to back out!"

The boys took one last look at each other nodding before looking back up at Orion saying in unison.

"We're in!"

Ori nodded with a smile as he said.

"We'll start tomorrow so go take it easy for the rest of the day and meet us back here first thing tomorrow morning."
