Foosha Vilage

After his talk with Sengoku, Garp walked back into a room where Usopp was staying. He was curled up under a blanket. Garp grabbed Usopp and the blanket and through him into the wall before saying, "Wake up, brat."

"What the hell, old man I wanted to rest some more." Usopp complained.

"We need to discuss what you going to do now." Garp said.

Hearing this Usopp sat up and paid attention.

"Look you have 2 choices that I can give you. One, I can take you to my two grandsons Luffy and Ace in Goa Kingdom and you can live with them, or Two, I could take you with me on my ship and train you to be a marine." Garp said with a serious expression.

Usopp looked at Garp and though about this for a while. On one hand, he could be a marine. It would make him stronger, but who knows if by the time he's strong enough someone corrupt doesn't kill him for laughs. On the other hand, he could go to his grandson. I would be free and wouldn't have to worry of backstabbing constantly, but I'd have no idea how to get stronger. If by the time I set sail and meet the Kreig pirates comes again and I'm not strong enough I would probably just die there.

After 30 minutes of thinking, Usopp's eyes regain focus and asked Garp, "If I choose option one, can I ask you for a favor to get me some tools?"

Garp thought for a second, "What do you want."

"I was thinking of getting a decent quality pistol, some workshop tools, and the last thing I would ask you for is an intro into marksmanship if you can make something like that." Usopp said.

Garp looked at Usopp and couldn't help but ask, "Why do you want to learn to shoot."

"Firstly, because I've never been as physically strong as most kids. Second, I need to be able to defend myself in case something happens again. Lastly, is because my father was a good shot." Usopp replied hopefully.

"Ok I'll get you the things you need consider it a thank you for being friends with Luffy." Garp said.

After their talk, days passed, Garp ended up giving Usopp a basic flintlock and the marksmanship manual. He told him that he'd buy him some tools when they got to Foosha Village. Soon the next day arrived, and they walked into a bar.

When they walked in, the first thing Usopp looked at was a young boy about the same age as him with a straw hat. He was laughing and joking with everyone in the bar and Usopp couldn't help but think, 'what a happy place.'

When the green haired woman looked to the door she smiled and Garp shushed her and began to sneak up on the young boy. Right when Garp was inches away, one of the bar-flys commented something rude about the straw-hatted boy. The boy snapped his head to the man and yelled in his face, "I don't need to know how to swim to be king of the pirates!"

Everyone was silent because they saw the man behind the boy twitch in anger. The boy was confused about what was happening and turned around. He looked up and his face paled, Garp's eyes were dark and he raised his fist, "WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU WERE GONNA BE."

*BANG*

"AHHHH~"

The boy yelled as he flew to the wall. Everyone in the bar was stunned. It's not like it's the first time Garp had hit his grandson with his trademark "Fist of Love", but he had eaten a devil fruit which made him impervious to physical hits. They even took turns trying to hit the boy to no avail, on his request of course.

"OWWW WHAT'D YOU DO THAT FOR" the boy cried. Then he stopped for a second, "How did you even hit me when I ate the gum-gum fruit." He asked.

"WHAT, YOU ATE A DEVIL FRUIT!" Garp almost had a heart attack. Who in their right mind would feed a kid something so dangerous.

"SHISHISHI yea, Shanks left a fruit in a trunk and I ate it when he made me mad, now I'm a rubber man." Luffy laughed while stretching his mouth. Usopp standing in the distance just looked at him in disbelief. He had heard stories about the devil fruits but never seen one up close.

"You met with that red-haired bastard?"Garp asked in anger.

"Don't talk about Shanks that way!" Luffy yelled, and ran at Garp, only to be punched into the ground.

"Oww, why does your punches still hurt." Luffy said while crying.

Garp scoffed at the question, "Brat, nothing can stop my Fist of Love."

Luffy glared at his grandpa for a minute before noticing a long-nosed boy behind him.

"Who's he." Luffy asked while pointing.

"This is your new friend, Usopp. I brought him here to live with you and my other grandson." Garp said.

"Yo, my names Luffy." He said.

"Hello." Usopp returned the greeting.

"Well, enough of that, let's get going I'm gonna introduce you both to someone else." Garp said while walking out.

While they walked, Luffy talked Usopp's ear off about everything he could think of. Usopp was interested in the boy because of his fruit and asked him questions about it, but he couldn't get any decent answers as Luffy seemed to not know anything other than he was made out of rubber.

They continued walking into the mountains until they came to a wooden cabin. Garp knocked on the door and a gruffly voice yelled out, "Who has the balls to disturb the Dadan Family, you looking to die!"

Afterwords, a tall orange haired woman walked out and froze seeing who her visitor was, "G-G-GARP!"

"Yo, I need you to take care of these two brats as well." Garp said nonchalantly, "Luffy, Usopp, say hi to Dadan.

"Hello, Miss." Usopp politely said.

"Yo." Luffy said while waving.

Dadan lost it, "You haven't even taken the last brat you dropped off!"

Garp's eyes turned dark and said, "Is that a problem criminal?"

"N-No not at all." She waved off while cursing his existence.

While this was happening, Luffy was exploring with Usopp in tow. Suddenly while they were walking something flew and landed right on Luffy's cheek.

*SPLAT*

"EWWW!" Luffy yelled. "Who did it."

Usopp looked over and saw a black haired boy wearing a red shirt with blue shorts who was wielding a pipe while sitting on top of a bear.

"Apologize." Luffy yelled.

Ace didn't reply and just stared us down. Garp finally noticed something wrong and saw the boy, "Oh, Ace."

Ace jumped off the bear and walked past Usopp and Luffy not sparing them a glance and said, "What do you want Gramps."

"Luffy, Usopp, meet Ace my other grandson." Garp said while picking his nose and looking at Ace. "I need you to look after them brat."

Ace was frustrated and yelled, "Like hell I'm gonna babysit some snot-nosed brats you damn old man."

Garp's expression darkened and said, "It looks like someone forgot how my Fist of Love tastes."

Ace paled, turned, and disappeared into the forest. Garp debated chasing him before sighing and turning to the two boys left and saying, "Listen I've leaving I need to get back to the marines, but you guys should try to befriend Ace he needs it just like you two."

With that Garp was gone and luffy and Usopp were talking to each other about what they were gonna do next.

"I'm gonna go find Ace and make him my friend." Luffy said.

"Did you forget he spat on you?" Usopp questioned.

Luffy froze for a second and yelled out, "That's right, I'm gonna make him apologize! Then he will be my friend." Then he took off towards where Ace left.

Usopp just shook his head before following behind Luffy.
