Chapter 9 :Misplaced

Emma said "There used to be an industry of thermoplastic and textiles.Due to some accident in industry, it exploded.The black smoke from the factory covered the sky.Many people died after inhaling the poisonous smoke,some people migrated to other places.Slowly the smoke started to shower ash on land,many birds, animals,plants everything started to disappear. This land became a desert of ash.My grandpa told me that this was once a fertile land which is used to cultivate different crops like rice,dal,maize,sugarcane, mangoes and many other commercial crops of flowers.But now no life exists in this.Tell me something, how did you landed there?And why did you went there?Have not you seen the warning sign there?"

I was about to tell something but Rahul stopped me to reveal the secret of time meachine.He said to Emma that it is a long story and he will explain it latter.Emma said "alright!! I will be free in the evening.You can come to my cabin". She is looking at Rahul in a different way.How can she say like that.Sam understood that I am annoyed with Emma's words.She started to tease me.

Grandpa was consious.Then we told him everything that Emma explained.Grandpa felt heartbreaking to see his fertile village as a desert of ash.We all decided to return to our past.But we can not find the time meachine.We all started to panic.Then Rahul said " the time machine should have been lost in the place where we became unconscious."

Suddenly Grandpa cannot breath properly.Rahul ran to call a doctor for help.Emma came and said "you should take some rest" and gave him an injection.I was feeling very tensed.Firstly grandpa is not well,on the other hand we lost the time machine and then finally this Emma is always trying to be close with Rahul.I dont know why i feel very jealous about her.Emma asked Rahul to come with her to take the medicines.Rahul went with her.

I dont know why but i dont want Rahul to go with Emma alone.I just waked behind him silently.He entered the cabin.Suddenly Emma closed the door.I somehow managed to see them from a window.Emma gave some medicines and grabbed his hand.I was shocked.I knew her intension.Rahul warned her to leave her hand.Emma said"I am in love with you.Will you marry me?"

Rahul let himself free from Emma and said "I am already married with someone." Emma said "I know.I dont have any problem with that.I can be your second wife" saying this she removed her mask.She is really beautiful, her eyes are attractive with blue hair.Rahul immediately turned to other side and said in a loud voice "what are you doing?you are a doctor i respect you, but i cannot marry you " Rahul started to walk away.I dont want Rahul to see me.So i started to walk but suddenly he came to me and grabbed my hand.He saw that Emma is standing outside the cabin and observing us.Rahul pulled me closer placing one hand on my waist and one on my cheeks.He kissed me infront of Emma.My heart started to beat very fast.I closed my eyes.His kiss is so comforting.He turned to Emma and said "I cant live without her.I love her so much.And only death can separate me from her." He grabbed my hand and pulled me closer.My eyes are filled with tears due to happiness.Emma felt guilty for her behaviour with Rahul.
