Keep a secret

I was so surprised when he kissed me all of a sudden but I couldn't deny that I liked the feeling of his lips on mine. His lips were warm and his arms were placed around my neck and my waist.

I don't know if this is the right thing to do, but I know I don't want it to end.

At first, Lu Jinho was worried she would get mad and push him away but to his surprise, she responded to him and it felt like she wanted him as much as he wanted her.

Lu Jinho didn't want to stop but he knew that if he didn't stop at that moment, he wouldn't be able to stop anytime soon and he wasn't sure they were into each other enough for that yet.

Just as I was still enjoying the amazing skills of this handsome man, I suddenly felt his lips leave mine and the cold breeze of the night brush through my lips. I opened my eyes and looked at him only to see that he already stood up and was ready to leave.

"You should get some rest. I have things I have to take care of in my study".

After saying this, he left and I only came back to my senses when I heard the sound of the door.

"What? What was that?"

My eyes were wide open, looking in the direction of the door.

"How could he leave like that and what was with that cold expression?"

I gasped and covered my mouth with my eyes almost popping out.

"Wait, Shin Suri is not experienced, does that mean my kiss was sloppy? Ahhhishh!!!!"

Shin Suri screamed and most of the maids passing by almost fell because of how surprised they were.

Lu Jinho went over to his studies and while he was still immersed in the memory of what just happened a few minutes ago, someone was waiting for him in his study.

"What took you so long?"

Lu Jinho looked at the man slowly. He wasn't expecting him to be there but it wasn't surprising either since they were close.

"What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost".

Lu Jinho asked and went to sit on his chair. He took a few documents and began going through them. Yu Lei looked extremely worried for some reason and it was unlike him.

"Jinho, I have to discuss something with you".

Lu Jinho looked up to see the worried man's face and seeing that it looked pretty serious, he stopped what he was doing and gave him his full attention.

"What's the problem?"

Yu Lei sat on a chair looking straight at Lu Jinho.

"We took Li Wei's body and we buried it inside the forest. To make sure he really is dead".

Lu Jinho simply nodded. He knew that wasn't the reason why he looked so serious, so he waited for him to continue.

"Jinho, I know this might sound a bit off but, don't you feel it's weird?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Your girl!! She took almost all of the men before we got there and even with her injuries, she was still able to kill Li Wei. I don't mean any harm, I just feel we need to be careful. I don't think she's an ordinary young woman".

It's been a while since Lu Jinho heard Yu Lei speak so much. Of course, even he was thinking about it but for some reason, he couldn't help but trust her. And he hardly ever trusts anyone.

"I understand what you're saying, I was surprised as well. She's really skilled and she showed no sign of fear but I don't want to doubt her yet".

Yu Lei sighed. He couldn't wrap his head around the reason why Lu Jinho was this trusting. It is the first time he has ever seen Jinho trust someone this much and it made him even more worried.

Yu Lei didn't say anything else and just left.

On his way out, he met Jagi. He smiled at her then he bent and began stroking her head but then, he stopped halfway and looked at Jagi like she was human.

'No, at this rate, I can't trust anyone or anything related to Shin Suri'.

He looked at Jagi again but this time around, with a very cold expression that made Jagi move back a little, and just like that, he walked away.

After he left, Jagi looked confused. She couldn't wrap her head around the reason why he acted like that but she knew he didn't want to see her right now.

'I'll just go see him again tomorrow'.

She went back to her room but Joo Ah wasn't there so she decided to check Shin Suri's room instead.

When she opened the door, she saw both of them on the bed talking about something. When Shin Suri saw her, she ran towards her and hugged her.

"Yah Jagi, does Lu Jinho know you can talk?"

"Of course he doesn't, don't be silly".

Shin Suri let out a sigh of relief. But then, she looked at the black tiger that just walked past her and followed her like a worried child.

"But....but, how did you tell him where we were? And how did he know to bring men?"

"Well..."

"Well?"

"Well?"

Both Shin Suri and Joo Ah asked at the same time. Jagi looked like she could rip them apart so they could stop bugging her.

"I mean, all that matters is he saved you right? Does it matter how I told him?"

"Yes!!"

"Yes!!"

Jagi rolled her eyes and went to lie down on the bed.

"Fine, I asked a little angel to write it down on a piece of paper. All I had to do was deliver the paper to him".

"Who did you talk to?"

This time around, it was Joo Ah who asked. Jagi looked at her nonchalantly and said.

"Kali".

"Wait what? Tiny thing knows you can talk? What is wrong with this tiger?"

"I think you should be thanking me and not judging me. Besides that tiny thing saved both your lives".

"Uhhh, don't you get it? She's a kid, she can't keep a secret".

"I can".
