No other wild beasts dared to intervene or get close to the area where the battle between the younger disciples of Master Wushu and the pack of wild wolves.

Right after the moment when the other younger disciples and wild wolves noticed that Hawks succeeded in taming the leader of the wild wolves, Billy and Rankuza cheered for Hawks.

Rankuza's knees wobbled from the stress and nervousness that they had to go through due to their encounter with the pack of wild wolves.

Billy held their unconscious female friend, Maya … gently and carefully.

While Hawks started to lose his strength and slowly feeling disoriented due to the high-level demand of ki from his body.

Based upon Rankuza's calculations, the wild wolves should be leaving at this point.

Now, that their leader has been successfully tamed.

Though, the wild wolves intended to pursue the others still.

"W-wait … S-shooo!!" Rankuza tried to reach for his pockets hoping that he could find any remaining explosive balls but unfortunately he has ran out of anything that could be used against the wild wolves.

When Billy was about to prepare himself in using his technique,

The newly tamed wild beast growled loudly to warn the wild wolves that if they try to attack the kids, their leader will be the one they will be facing.

Immediately, the wild wolves cowered in fear over their former leader who is now bound in service towards the young boy that tamed their leader successfully.

They whimpered and scattered around.

Among the rule of the pack of wild wolves, once their leader is subjugated, captured, or tamed, immediately they are no longer bound with their leader and must find a new leader to serve.

There was a sigh of relief knowing that the wild wolves have finally left them on their own and they have a good protection against any further threats that may linger around them within the forest.

Billy helped Rankuza tend to his wound.

"Good thing that we somehow survived the dangerous encounter against the wild wolves. Or else it could have been worst." Rankuza shared his relief regarding with the situation that they are currently in.

But it seems that Billy is silent while tending to Rankuza's wound with a piece of his cloth to cover the open wound of Rankuza in his palm.

"Why are you so silent Billy?"

Rankuza noticed Billy being in a deep thought.

"Oh, I am sorry … I was just thinking, where could be little Ryoku right now? If we had a dangerous encounter with a pack of wild wolves. Imagine the other wild beasts or worst monsters that may be roaming around this dangerous forest. How will he survive?"

"Me too … I also worry for little Ryoku. It was my fault for being negligent and now … someone as little like Ryoku, what danger lies ahead and will he become a prey of other creatures?"

The two were filled with concern and worry for Shams who is apparently closer to his destination.

On the deeper part of the forest where Shams is closer to his destination.

When Shams finally arrived at the destination,

It was totally secluded area where no living being would dare come near the premises of the cave.

The light that was leading Shams went through inside the cave but Shams stood by its entrance.

"Why is it so dark inside? And I can see that there is a rope on the entrance with certain paper seals. Lastly, there is a white line on the ground under the rope." Shams expressed his observation to the enchanting voice that was leading him inside the cave.

There was a brief silence from the enchanting voice.

Then it finally spoke in response to Shams' observation.

< Sss … Ummm, t-that's just the design of the cave for the entrance. You see I live inside, so I want my entrance to be appealing to my guests. That's it! I want to impress you because you are my first guest for the longest time. Sss … >

Shams knew at that point that the enchanting voice was lying to him.

In his previous life, he have seen a lot of politicians lie to the people. Words being uttered just to appease the people. During his time in his previous life, he even met officials and bosses that would trick their own subordinates due to their desperation for something.

For Shams' case, he is being offered with a promise of power.

He has learned that when you are being offered with something that you are desperate to acquire, a sacrifice or an expected exchange is required from you.

"Do not bullshit me! This is not a design. What a lame excuse! Be honest with me. You are sealed inside, aren't you? And you expect me to release you. But there is always a catch. So tell me now before I change my mind and leave you." Bluntly expressed by Shams.

< Sss … What ?!?! Don't you dare order me around! I belong from a supreme and royal family of mythical beasts. So, you are fortunate to even receive power from me. In fact, you should be grateful and worshipping me that I chose you as my cultivator. Sss … >

"Oh, is that so? Well then … Enjoy in your prison! Isolated and helpless … Goodbye!" Shams excused himself and intended to leave.

Before he could even walk away, he was interrupted.

< Sss … W-waaait !!! Where are you going? I thought you wanted to have immense power and strength? Sss …>

"Yes, I want to have great power but I am not that desperate to blindly follow you. You need me! More than I need you." Shams' reply.

A sudden decision was made by Shams.

Instead of being double-crossed and fooled. He decided to outwit and outmaneuver the plans of this mythical beast.

< Sss … Fine! State your demands from me, in exchange for my freedom. Sss … >

Then an evil smirk formed on Shams' face.

Certainly, at that point, he knew that he has finally got the mythical beast under his palm.

With this, he will be able to demand things more than the mythical beast bargained for.

'You will regret that you have decided to choose me as your chosen cultivator. This is my chance to attain tremendous power and more. Maybe even immortality!' Shams silently thought to himself as he smirked with schemes on his mind.

An ominous breeze of wind passed through.

Indeed the beginning of something sinister and the birth of a devious entity.

"Great! Let's start off with the truth. Tell me everything before I decide to state my demands."
