16 Beast Tamer
As the battle gets more heated …
Birds are flying away from the growing intense scene between the younger disciples of Master Wushu and the wild wolves.
After the sudden defeat of Maya, the younger ones have one less force against the wild wolves.
Especially the leader of the wild wolves remained unscathed and undefeated.
There are still some other wild wolves waiting for the command of their leader.
A moment of desperation for Hawks and the others.
Based upon the calculations of Hawks, Billy will be able to protect Maya from the attack of the wild wolves through his powerful punches and his ultimate move,

This is a technique when a cultivator concentrates his ki around his fist and the impact will vary on the level of ki gathered around the fist. Though in Billy's case, he was able to master this technique in such young age where he could attain a more powerful result which he crushes his target.
It crushes its target due to a very powerful impact that disintegrates its target into ashes. Though, it only becomes effective if the target has a weaker defense over the offensive ki of Billy that is set to disintegrate its target.
So, if the target has a stronger defensive ki over the offensive ki of Billy, then it only creates a strong impact rather than a lethal disintegrating effect.
But the worry is the leader of the wild wolves for being a powerful opponent.
"Hawks! You can try tame the leader of the wild wolves and it will be a jackpot for us." Rankuza insisted to Hawks.
"It's not that easy to tame a beast. There are other wild wolves that are on stand-by for the protection of their leader so it will not be easy. We have to lure the other wild wolves away from their leader so I can have a chance to even challenge their leader." Hawks explained to his younger fellow disciple.
Rankuza understood what Hawks meant.

There are different types of beasts. The only beasts that can be tamed are the following,

[-Mythical Beasts-]
Those who cannot be tamed are classified as,
[-Monsters-]
Monsters are creatures that have great powers. Their goals are to survive, feed, and conquer certain territories. These creatures are believed to be beasts that have manifested demonic nature that prevents any cultivator to tame monsters. They only stay within certain area or territory since their nature is territorial. Powerful monsters may attempt to go on rampage in nearby towns or cities. This is why certain sects are responsible in providing protection to their people and owned lands.
On the other hand,
[-Wild Beasts-]
Wild beasts are creatures that varies in power and strength. Not all wild beasts are powerful.
Their power range are also classified into,
[1] Common – Least Powerful
[2] Uncommon – Average Power
[3] Rare – Most Powerful
In other words, their taming results probabilities also differ in their power range classification.
More powerful they are, more difficult the taming of these wild beasts will be.

"Hawks, take this!" Rankuza handed something to Hawks.
"What is this?" Hawks wondered what Rankuza handed to him.
"It is a power pill made by Yuri. I kind of took one pill because I was planning to try it on my own. It will multiply your power for few minutes and will allow you to produce a tremendous amount of ki. In other words, it is a supplement made by our finest alchemist, Yuri!" Rankuza explained.
"Why will you give me this?"
"Use that for taming the leader of the wild wolves. Because I will be your decoy so make sure you do your best in taming that fluffy beast." Rankuza shared his plan to Hawks and was referring to their target which is the leader of the wild wolves.
"How will you become a decoy?"
After Hawks curiously asked Rankuza,
The young boy wearing glasses suddenly picked up a sharp shard of rock and used his ki to sharpen the tip of the shard making it a blade made from a shard of rock.
Though it may not be a strong weapon against any enemy but it will be enough to inflict a certain wound.
Seconds passed …
A surprising move was made by Rankuza.
He inflicted a wound on his palm which caused him to bleed.
"MY BLOOD! Will lure them away from their leader … Compared to their leader, those wild wolves are mere common wild beasts. They are easily persuaded when they are presented with a delicious prey. Wish me luck!" Rankuza told Hawks his reasoning and immediately ran towards Billy's direction.
Before Hawks could even stop Rankuza,
His younger fellow disciple ran as fast as he could while bleeding.
It was an effective strategy from Rankuza because the moment he ran off, the other wild wolves left their leader and tried to chase after him.
"Ranku --- tsk!" He could not stop his friend.
The only thing he could do now was not to waste Rankuza's efforts.
Even the leader of the wild wolves could not stop its minions to leave.
It growled in anger towards the other wild wolves for leaving without its consent.
Hawks clenched his fist in his anger and swallowed the pill that was handed to him by Rankuza.
Immediately after he swallowed …
A surging ki started to surround his body and his eyes turned into pure fury.
"Now, look at me wolfie! Time to face my wrath! Become M-I-N-E !" Hawks started to focus his ki and gathered it around his palm.
His palm was directed towards the leader of the wild wolves.
"Sealing Chains!" uttered by Hawks.
Then his ki transformed into a sealing chain that swiftly aimed to the different body parts of the leader of the wild wolves.
It howled in pain but focused its attention of resisting the attempt of Hawks to tame him.
Thus, a tug-of-war took place between the two leaders of their respective group.
Impressive power and unwavering courage were being exhibited by Hawks which the leader of the wild wolves noticed.
Even though it does not want to be tamed and its pride was at stake.
The look of desperation and unwavering courage from Hawks reminded the leader of wild wolves.
Its own younger self, when it tried to survive against stronger and more powerful beasts.
All this time, the leader of the wild wolves did its best to survive against the cruel realities of survival among the beasts and cultivators that tried to capture him.
A reflection of its own younger self was reminded through the bravery of Hawks.
Instead of fighting further, it started to let the chain take over its senses.
One of the signs of a successful taming is the appearance of a bright circle under the tamed creature.
Everyone, including the other wild wolves stopped on their tracks and focused their attention to Hawks and the leader of the wild wolves.
A surprising conclusion of a dangerous encounter.
The sight of a successful taming,
And the image of a young beast tamer.
