The Second Male Lead
"Mind coming into my room now, mr. Ancestor." Said the boy. "I don't mind, but can you take it being sarcastic to me" as he said that Jia lee released his soul pressure onto the young man, who plopped down on floor panting and gritting his teeth in pain, his arrogance from a while ago was gone and an scared expression appeared on his face.
"Now that's what i like to see the most, breaking of arrogance fueled by a little success you got while under your family's protection and money, you young masters and miss are really something. Don't worry now, I am here to teach you manners, on behalf of your sister treating me so well." Said Jia lee with an evil grin on his cat face looking especially creepy. Since he ascended to heavenly immortal realm, he could use his soul strength freely and being of his level was already the peak strength of this world. As for being heavy handed, it was actually surprisingly enough T's idea. Apparently this brother is second male lead and a useless love stricken fool, who only knows to help the FL and never caring about his sister much, he was even consoling the Fl after his sister's death and wasn't much effected by it himself. He went to the FL after knowing about the accident so that she won't harm herself in guilt.
"Oh no brother! Thomy he's not a bad person, he's just worried about me, can you let him go this time" shouted Liza after coming out of shock. Yeah her sensors are pretty slow for her to respond so slowly. He stopped and jumped into air, floating in front of her, " Liza, don't take me wrong, but you need to change your personality and see the true colours of this world and not just blindly jump in to fight injustice, sometimes, people need to be selfish and think of themselves, otherwise everyone will take advantage of you and bully you."
Liza looked at Jia lee in daze and said after some time "I know, but becoming selfish and rude will be like taking away my personality and my grandparents teachings, since i could remember, they always said one sentence 'be kind liza to everyone liza, and you will eventually make a change in someone's heart, even if just one person, the satisfaction you will get is beyond this world.' You know what at some point i was upset and wanted to fight back, be rude, be the same as them, but this sentence kept me sane, because as of yet I haven't met my destined person." She smiled sweetly at the end, with a blush on her face.
"You are a fool to follow those things, with today's generations mindset, they will only think that you are a hypocrite and acting cute to attract their attention." These words came from Liam and Jia lee was quite surprised and said "You are not a lost cause yet, if you can still speak such sane words to your sister"
"I am sorry for my rudeness earlier senior, as you said my sister's thinking is a bit too ideal and doesn't understand the nature of humans and people use her when needed and throw her aside when not needed. She just doesn't understand, not mater how i try putting it into her head. Normally she's still smart at studying and stuff but she's not exactly good at reading people." He said with his head bowed and standing with the support of wall.
Jia lee flicked a candy at him and told him it's recovery candy. Liam munched it down and felt a burst of energy and instant relief from pain afterwards. He looked at Jia Lee with an expression full of admiration, like a teen looking at his idol. While his sister's head was drooping down in deep thought. She was confused and couldn't think of what to do, " I won't give you more explanations and just give you a short experience for you to understand the complexity of humans." Said Jia lee and a stream of white light entered her head making her experience a person's life in an apocalyptic world. It was a memory capsule that he found in one of the apocalyptic worlds.
When she came back to her senses, their was a ruthless glint in her eyes and a stream of tears actually went down her face, which turned into crying heavily. Liam looked at his sister worriedly, it's been a long time since I felt this way for her, it's just there might be of her coming to reality from her lala land that she lives in, thought liam.
"She's fine and just facing your world view shatter in front of you is not easy and this will let her settle the emotional uphill she's facing right now." Said Jia Lee.
They went into Liams room and it was actually already back to normal, it was due to those ruins all over the tower repairing it. Jia lee actually learned quite a lot of magic as well from T and Typhon. It was their strong point and he was already a grandmaster level magic user which was equal to his cultivation level in spiritual cultivation. Liam was beyond impressed by the theories he inquired about from Jia lee. "Even my professor's in university are not as good, and they are already the best, since they could teach at ancient university of Urgash, having the only living archmage present on planet, even normal professors are not someone to trifle with."
"Remember one thing child their is not highest peak ever once you reach the top you will see their's even taller mountain ahead of you. This planet is not even close to average when it comes to strength in the wide world outside. World holds all sorts of wonders and secrets, if you are lucky you will encounter some like me and if unlucky you might discover something that will not let you live to see the next day." As he said that he had a smile on his cat face while Liza was already sleeping from exhaustion.
"She needs to practice for tomorrow's test as well you know, while you were helping outsiders past few days, your sister was blasting her lab downstairs as well." Said jia lee and giving Liam a look of disdain.
Liam blushed and bowed down his head and said "I was just help Lily, as she's already a scholarship student and can't afford to loose these points, or her scholarship will be taken back."
"Oh really, what about your biological sister, don't you want her to have good grades, just because her parents can afford the fee. You are no less of a hypocrite Liam Cronwell, i will let you know of one thing, don't you get lost while salivating over someone else's fish or you will not get the fish and also get dehydrated from salivating to hard." Said Jia lee.
Liam's eyes flashed and thought of what Jia lee said. It was not to great a riddle and easy to understand for him. But just understanding doesn't mean he's willing to accept it, he will distance and watch for a while before thinking of whether to believe completely in what he said or not.
Jia lee didn't wait for him and Liza floated beside him and he fed her a pill and went back to the lab downstairs and locked the door. Liza woke up and looked at Jia Lee with emotionless face "Can you make me stronger, like the strongest this planet have ever seen"
Jia Lee didn't care about the drive behind her determination as he will be here to put her on the right place if she makes any mistakes. He first of all called Hazel over, she appeared in a summoning circle rather than appearing right from thin air. Liza didn't looked shocked as summoning was a type of magic common in this world.
Without any ado Hazel opened a door and they went inside," Time difference here is almost 100 times so one hour outside is like an 100 hours in here. Now you still have like 3-4 hours until you will need to go to bed in outside world and that gives you enough time for your classes under the special teachers that i have invited here for you." With that Typhon, Pine, Jahaan, and Soyuz appeared here. They will teach her magic theory, healing magic and study of herbs, practical magic and material recognition, and potions and witch craft respectively. Soyuz took her into a huge lab while others followed and she learned how to make the potion she was trying so hard to make in few easy steps and with cheaper replacements of the materials at that. It took her few tries but after like 5 tries, she was already precise enough. She continued learning from four of them and others would give their own knowledge about stuff she's using in their own speciality. Like a herb she was using to make a sleep potion, could be used in a certain healing pill and is also a good source in making summoning circles to make a pact with a monster, Typhon even explained the components in it and how to grow it for better and healthy yield.
Jia lee was also listening and learning on side as his magic prowess was strong but theoretically he was still weak. His enhanced brain power was useful at this moment, since he wasn't doing anything else he might as well learn these things, which usually runs from.
His four friends were teaching with even higher fervour as they saw their lord paying attention to the lessons. They used some herbs to make memory enhancement pills and conscious advancement pills and Liza was the first to try and she could already feel the results as she could remember and understand stuff way better and could even make practical use according to theory and Jahaan helped polishing the moves she learned.
After a complete 4 hours outside they went out and Liza directly fell asleep on sofa in her lab floating into her dreamland.
