Tony quickly activated his earpiece and relayed the urgent information about the incoming nuke to Patrick and the rest of the Avengers who were in the midst of battling the Chitauri aliens.

"Guys, we have a situation," Tony's voice crackled through their earpieces. "There's a nuke heading towards Manhattan, and we need to intercept it before it detonates. We have to take it down."

The Avengers paused for a moment, their expressions tightening with determination as they processed the gravity of the situation.

Patrick who was flying towards the Stark building with the sceptre in his hand was happy hearing the news. He first thought that the Council wasn't going to act on it, as quite a considerable amount of time had passed since the start of the battle and they hadn't taken any action. But he was glad that the plot hadn't changed yet.

Glancing at the sceptre in his hand, he had finally confirmed that the cube could use the infinity stones as an energy source in order to absorb the energy and then convert it into lifespan for him.

Though he didn't allow the cube to absorb the energy units yet. He didn't want to waste such a brilliant opportunity as once the absorption of the energy was interrupted, he couldn't absorb energy from the safe infinity stones for two years.

His actual goal was to absorb the energy from the Tesseract which held the Space Stone. According to the original movie, Thor was going to take back the space stone with him to Asgard. Once the stone was taken back, Patrick wouldn't be able to absorb energy from it for quite a while. So he had decided to absorb the energy from the Tesseract now.

As for the sceptre containing mind stone, Patrick knew that it would be taken away by Hydra and it would remain with them until the start of the plot of the 'Age of Ultron.'

Patrick's plan was to retrieve the sceptre from Hydra and then use it absorb the energy from the infinity stones present in it.

Discarding his thoughts, Patrick activated his earpiece.

"I'll take care of the nuke," Patrick announced, his voice firm and resolute. "I can guide it inside the portal."

As soon as Patrick's announcement came through the earpieces, there was a moment of stunned silence among the Avengers. Natasha was the first to respond.

"Are you sure about this, Patrick?" she asked, her voice laced with concern. "It's a nuke we're talking about. It's incredibly dangerous."

"I know it's dangerous, but we don't have time to waste," Patrick replied firmly. "If we don't do something about it, the entire city will be destroyed. We have to take the risk."

"I'll make sure to provide you with all the support you need," Tony added, his voice filled with determination. "We'll clear the way for you and make sure you have a clear shot at guiding the nuke."

Steve, finally broke his silence. "Just make sure you get that nuke into the portal and then get out of there as fast as you can."

"I won't let you guys down," Patrick assured them, his voice steady and resolute. "I'll do whatever it takes to ensure that nuke doesn't harm anyone in Manhattan."

The Avengers quickly coordinated their efforts, clearing a path for Patrick to make his way to the location of the incoming nuke. Iron Man, Hawkeye, and Thor worked together to take down the remaining Chitauri aliens surrounding the portal. Whereas Patrick quickly delivered the Sceptre to Natasha who stayed there ready to close the portal once Patrick comes out of it.

As Patrick approached the nuke as per the directions provided by Tony, Patrick could feel the immense power emanating from it, the weight of the responsibility resting heavily on his shoulders.

"Patrick, the nuke is closing in on your position," Tony's voice came through the earpiece. "You need to act fast."

"I'm on it," Patrick responded, his voice calm and focused.

Patrick quickly activated the power of his Glint Glint Fruit, feeling the surge of energy coursing through his body. With a burst of superhuman speed, he flew towards the incoming nuke. As he approached the nuke, he used his powerful physical strength to grab hold of it, effortlessly hoisting the massive warhead over his shoulder.

With the nuke in tow, Patrick streaked across the sky, the wind whipping through his hair as he focused on his goal. As the nuke neared the city, Patrick's intense physical strength allowed him to manipulate its trajectory, steering it away from the buildings in the city. With a powerful heave, he launched himself and the nuke into the open portal, hurtling through the interdimensional gateway at breakneck speed.

As he entered the portal, the space around him shifted and warped. A sense of weightlessness overcame him as he emerged into the vast emptiness of outer space. In the distance, the imposing silhouette of the Chitauri mothership loomed, its dark hull bristling with alien technology. The aliens were still exiting the mothership and were trying to approach the portal.

Patrick was currently in his elemental form, and he instinctively knew that his physical body couldn't survive in the vastness of space.

Patrick let go of the nuke and watched as it swiftly approached the Mothership.

He observed the nuke, watching as it hurtled through the vacuum of space towards the Chitauri mothership. The behemoth craft seemed to grow larger and larger as the weapon closed in on its target, its dark hull looming ominously in the distance.

As the nuke made impact, a blinding flash of light erupted from the mothership, the force of the explosion rippling through the void of space. The shockwave expanded outward, engulfing the alien vessel in a maelstrom of destruction. The force caused the ship to shudder and then, with a roar, it erupted in a massive blast, fragments of the vessel hurtling in all directions.

Patrick couldn't help but feel a profound sense of awe and insignificance as he watched the colossal destruction unfold in the vast expanse of space. Floating amidst the cosmic backdrop, he was acutely aware of his own minute presence in the grand scheme of the universe.

The vacuum of space was both captivating and unsettling. The silence, so absolute, enveloped him in a profound solitude, and yet the enormity of the cosmos was deafening in its magnitude.

Patrick found himself overwhelmed by a profound sense of powerlessness. In the face of such cosmic forces, how could he, a mere mortal, hope to assert any meaningful influence?

Floating in the void, Patrick marveled at the boundless potential of space, where the laws of physics seemed to offer limitless possibilities. The stars, each burning with fiery brilliance, beckoned to him like distant lighthouses in the eternal sea of infinity. Despite feeling small and inconsequential, he couldn't help but embrace the profound beauty of the cosmos, a beauty that existed independently of human significance.

In the midst of the vastness, Patrick found a kind of peace. The enormity of space served as a poignant reminder of the impermanence of life and the resilience of the human spirit.

Finally, as the shockwave of the explosion began to approach him, he knew it was time to leave.
