Hard Working Genius

While soaking in the water, she resumed thinking about what she could do in this world.

When it comes to skills and talents, she and Lin Huiying of this world are quite alike. Living her life the way she did previously, she was not able to cultivate any special skills nor did she hide any special knowledge to build a conglomerate or whatever transmigrated girls usually do.

She gave up. She would think about it later. She had many things to do today.

Sheng Xue looked at Lin Huiying sitting in front of the vanity and said confidently, "Tonight no one would be able to take their eyes off you."

Lin Huiying shook her finger and giggled, "No need, Ah! I can't take so much attention. They can just admire me in their hearts."

With laughter, the twins started helping Lin Huiyng with her clothes and hairstyle.

When it came to makeup, Lin Huiying halted Sheng Xue and took out her makeup from the drawer which she had already taken out from space beforehand for this occasion.

"It is time to launch a new kind of flawless makeup." She said while proudly displaying her collection. It was not too big since she was not a make-up addict.

"Young miss, what are these things? We have never seen such powders and bottles." Sheng Xue asked with a confused face. Sheng Jie was also looking intently for an answer.

Lin Huiying: "I invented them."

'C'mon now this is a white lie. For this world, I am indeed the inventor, okay?'

As if a light bulb just lit up in her mind, Sheng Xue spoke, "Did you prepare them in your study room? Is this what you've been working on all this time?"

Lin Huiying mentally gave her two thumbs up. "You have become quite intelligent now after being with me for so long. Of course, I worked so hard to wrack my brains and invent new things. I am a hard-working genius after all."

Sheng Jie narrowed her eyes at Lin Huiying for saying such boastful words for two seconds.

Looking at her Lin Huiying playfully stuck out her tongue for a second with a title of her head and a shoulder shrug. Looked cute ha!

Sheng Xue, who was engrossed in the new and shiny 'makeup' asked without moving her attention, "So, how can this be used?"

Even Sheng Jie couldn't help but ask, "Have you used it before? It looks so different. How did you come up with such things?"

Lin Huiying: "Of course, I have used it. Without experimenting how could I have the best results? It took me a long time to get the results."

Original Lin Huiying had a private room in her study room where no one was allowed to enter. From childhood, she would buy antique stuff, books as well a variety of things and bring them to her study. A typical shopaholic. Most people in the family knew about the room, but no one knew what happened behind the closed doors.

The secret was that the original Lin Huiying was just fond of buying stuff which looked pleasing to eyes and sometimes she might genuinely be interested in antiques and different kinds of books.

Most of the time spent in the secret room would be wasted on reading books or painting.

Lin Huiying decided to use the excuse of the secret room to introduce new stuff from her space. She doesn't want to explain in too much detail since speaking too much can lead to more trouble. She'll just leave people to their thoughts. They'll think for few days about where it came from and then forget about it.

"Let me show you guys the true magic." Lin HuiYing started with her basic skincare before applying the makeup.

It took some time to complete the 'no make-up' look.
