She asked the twins to vacant the room (it was quite a work) and let her 'experiment' with her hair. After they left the room, she entered her space and went to her vanity in the walk-in closet.

To create the shape of the bun - blowing out half of her hair as well as volumizing hairspray and dry shampoo to add texture and lift. She first created a small loose bun by pinning curls into a messy mass, and then followed it up by creating a standard braid and a fishtail braid and pulling them apart to add even more texture. Then, she crossed them over the top of the bun to add some more modern detail to it. She let half of the hair down with wavy/natural curls.

After more than one hour her hair was ready – a romantic, textured half-up-half-down updo.

Her hair was adorned with three pieces made of pearls and fake flowers in a light purple shade complimenting the bun. A pair of long tassel hair sticks on either side of the head while a tiara headpiece flower in middle. She was also wearing her pearl earrings. They were delicate unlike the rest of the accessories since they were not a set, but they still stood out because of their unique and delicate design.

The people in the hall were stunned by her.

The Lin family walked with their noses high in the sky after looking at other's reactions to their family's baby.

Soon they all settled down in their seats next to the Mo family. They passed the basic pleasantry between each other.

"Your daughter looks so beautiful. I have never seen anyone like her." Jiang Yanli, the eldest daughter-in-law of the Mo family complimented.

"Ah, yes. She has grown into a beautiful young lady now." Lu Yi-Ching couldn't help but praise her daughter.

Old man Mo: "You Old man! Why were you hiding your granddaughter for such a long time in your house? Aren't you ashamed?"

Old Man Lin: "Why would I be ashamed? She is the Lin family's only daughter, so she needs to be safeguarded. She's not for everyone to see. Hmph!"

Old man Mo: "Look at my granddaughter, isn't she out in the open too. Why would you keep that child in your house? Let her get out of the house and enjoy."

Old man Lin: "Well, she is free to do so. Why would we not allow her to go out? She can do whatever she wants. But she had been diligently training all these years."

Old man Lu joined the conversation, "My granddaughter is a hardworking person. Seems like she takes after my family."

Old man, Lin looked at his in-law, "If you have forgotten then she is a martial artist, not a spirit cultivator."

The Lu's were mainly spirit cultivators. The maiden home of Lu Yi-Ching.

Lin Huiying was not a spirit cultivator. Her strong physic allowed her to learn martial arts. Therefore, since she was seven, she started horse riding and swordplay. Learned martial arts and warcraft under her grandfather.

All the children of General Lin's family were either trained in martial arts or were spirit cultivators.

Old man Lu: "Hmm….a talented and beautiful young lady."

Three old men were not the closest buddies but they had a good amicable relationship from their young days. Thankfully, the empire didn't have to worry about the power struggle between the pillars of the empire.

While the members of the three families were chatting, the fourth family arrived.

Center of attention. The Zhang family. Zhang Ziyi. The female lead.

Everyone looked at the new arrivals. But the most excited is Lin Huiying. Since she was going to witness how the female lead looks in real life.

When she entered, she tried to recall the features written to describe Zhang Ziyi, but she couldn't remember everything and be sure who she would be.

The family was as described in the novel. Haughty and idiots, but scheming. Like it shows on their face. Rat-like narrow eyes which are ready to pound on the opportunities that benefit them.

After coming to this world, Lin Huiying realized that the world was quite different than what one would imagine when reading the novel. It was not a nasty place to be. Not all scheming and mean people have anything else to do in this world except for harassing the female lead.

For example, look at the Lin, Mo, and Lu family. All three are powerful, but they are not at each other's throats. Instead, they behave like normal friends. Not everyone is so free to go and be a roadblock. They lived their own life.

But after Zhang Ziyi's entry, maybe the plot starts, or maybe similar to other transmigrate novels the plot changes due to her presence. Only time can tell the tale.
