Broom practice Haha
We got to the Quidditch pitch early, so we saw the rest of the first-years enter the pitch. All the first-years share this period, but houses are separated perhaps so no shannanigans can occur.
Ron was talking excitedly to Harry when we saw them come in whilst Hermione came over to Tonks and I while looking unsure of herself.
"Nervous, 'Mione?" Tonks asked
"Yes." Hermione said quickly.
"First time?"
"Yes."
I guess talking made Hermione a bit more relaxed. If I hadn't already been sitting I would have fallen over by now.
"Quiet please." Madam Hooch spoke loudly over the first-year banter.
"For many of you, today will be your first flight lesson. I don't want any messing around, and if I see one broom in the air without my say so you will be in detention faster than you can say Quidditch! Now, Everyone come and stand beside a broom."
There was some pushing and shoving as no one wanted the more mangled brooms, but none of them looked un-mangled. Twigs pointing off in random directions probably won't allow the most stable ride. After a minute everyone had a broom.
"Now," Hooch began. "Hold you right hand over the broom. On my whistle, say "Up" very clearly." Shortly afterwards came a burst of her whistle.
"Up" Everyone spoke for the first time at once, only a few brooms came up immediately, Harry's hopped up with no surprise. Although I knew I would get it the first time, I guess this old broom wants to fly. Everyone started saying 'up' at various volumes for the next few minutes, a few people gave up and picked it up of the floor.
"Mount the broom with your wand hand before your other." She hopped over onto her broom. "Each day for the first month of your time here we will be practising with brooms, If you wish to try out for the Quidditch team in later years, you may."
"Excuse me professor, but I have been trained how to fly by my father, so I dont need this training stick." I say as I put the broom down gently, then started flying in the air with no broom.
"See, I also feel this is alot safer even with the enchantments if you had enemy's, they could just jinx your broom." Everyone was dead silent in surprise ,and the professor was gaping with her mouth.
"Mr.outsutsuki didnt the headmaster say something about warning the staff, before doing something so surprising. Also for your information these are not as you put it "Training sticks", they are brooms that we use when we play the noble game of quidditch." She said in a exasperated slightly irritated tone .As she had finished collecting herself ,making it look like she is professional. in addition, didnt just have her mouth falling a minute ago.
"Sorry professor but this is how I was taught. I thought if my father taught this to me ,that all other people would be taught that way aswell. I actually expected the purebloods to have done so prior. Sorry for mismanaging my expectations miss." I said in a innocent voice
Everyone was either jealous or dumbfounded at how I did so. Some purebloods stuck their noses up in the air, as if they didnt hear me. However I could feel the rage coming of of them, also the teacher was fuming mad at how well i played her. Some slytherins noticed this and were all looking at me with aproval at my cunning trick. Even malfoy underneath the jealousy was quite impressed. The professor was about to blow up and give detention, or take points away but seen the trap layed out. Thus she knew she could do nothing but grit her teeth in anger. However she couldn't let a student win so she said.
"For your information only Dumbledore or someone else with such ridiculous amount of mana, could do something as pointless as flying without a broom. Even then they would use up too much energy ,and fall after 10 min of high speed 30 of slow." She smiled with a I got you now.
"Thanks for the information prof. However with my mage site I noticed, that my mana is at least 3 times the size of dumbledores." I say gaining gasps from the students ,but everyone knows my dad so they actually considered it. She wasn't having it thou.
"Well we will see about that, because I'll have the professor have a friend of his ,check to make sure. If your lying you will have detention with me." she said in a haughty voice. While the students felt bad for me and were thinking of the possibilities. till
"Oh you mean the wand maker ollivander, yes he was very kind with my father. When he seen both of our mana levels thou, he had to make a special wand for us. As we had too much mana for the wands to handle. So he had to bind a wand to our bodies, normally this would kill a wizard any less then Dumbledore . Here I can proove it look at this tattoo."I show my wrist then summon my wand. "Nifty thing it is none can steal my wand this way" I out it back staring at a baffled madam hooch.She collected herself quickly.
"Well since that matter is clear ,let's get back to the matter at hand before the class ends. Is that okay with you Mr. Outsutsuki." She says with a sneer 'Most impressive she is really good at this bravo bravo, she must have learned from old bones' While everyone else were praising me and thinking the same thought 'How shameless is this teacher, even after being bested she acted as if nothing happened.'
"Indeed, I suppose I'll grab my training Broom now." I say with a innocent voice
The teacher looked like she was ready to lunge at me. Especially after the snickers the Slytherins were making. Everyone that was mad at me ,were now catched on to what I was doing.
Everything else went as It did in the movie malfoy shannanigans and Harry's heroism. Harry getting on the team and Neville in the medical ward. I noticed people of all houses starting to try to befriend me ,I cant have that ruin my privacy.'Ill just put runes on a makeshift necklace that will cause those seeking to befriend me ,having a fake conversation with me going the be best way they it could go with me declining. Saying I already have enough friends but being neutral allies would be okay. Towards the end of the day flitwick called me to his office. Flitwick chirped up at this point. "I believe it is time for our talk."
I followed Flitwick to his office, taking a seat on the larger side of the room as he sat on his goblin sized chair.
"So, outsutsuki. How has your first day been?"
"Well, sir. I apparently I mismanaged my expectations. However other then that everything went well. The teacher didnt like me for whatever reason."
"Yes, yes. I heard about that. I wanted to see If the rumors were true. Can you really fly without using a broom."
"Yes. Although someone like snape can do so, if he had really good control of his magic to the degree that there is very little waste. However to fly for a long time. You need Dumbledore's level, and really good control to the point, a single drop dont leak out from your skin." I said I then start flying in the air
"Amazing. However is that possible a drop is really small?" The small man inquired.
"Yeah, there are techniques my family uses to do so. It helps when You're family has broken the curse on magic."
"What curse?" he asked
"I'm sorry but I shouldn't have said that. I cant say anymore ,as if it spreads and people break free the evil god who cast it will decend." he looked at me pale. Then said
"I'll make a unbreakable vow" he tried to say
"No then he will find out. I guess ,I'll draw a time contract but if you break it your soul will cease to exist. Are you sure?" I say nonchalantly
He was sweating bullets then asked
"Why is it this strict,and anything that has to do with souls is black magic." he said shaking
"Well to be fair its required it uses the souls to connect, to get the true meaning of the vow across. So it cant be misinterpreted or interpreted as one likes. Truley the unbreakable vow if given to anyone clever enough ,is more like the already broken vow." I say then he slowly nods then accepts. I feel a time contract appear and he signs it. Then he says
"Who put this curse on magic and what does it do?" Flitwick says
"A very powerful dark wizard ,back when the magic was so plentiful. That wizards strong enough became gods. The curse makes wizards stupid, less accepting of new things even if they are better. Take this pen for example muggle made, but the wizards stay in their holes and dont go out take their creations and make it better. Now I wont explain the rest if I were you I'd forget this happened. There is a second part of the curse, if your too smart you will be more prone to making stupid decisions. This includes making convoluted plans, that only end in your own death or misery. " After I said that he paled.
"C-can you break it?" he asked
"I can but it will cost you, no not money my family could make all the banks broke if we converted to their currency.I want favoritism, in your class I'll have an illusion clone in my place. So I can do various experiments combining muggle items with magic. So all you have to do is ignore me in class as for the other students. I'll have an enchanted necklace on my desk so if they approached me, they will have a good conversation that everyone that looks will see. However it's just an illusion. Oh by the way I could take the last year tests and ace them. It helps when you make a spell to have all the knowledge of a book go into your brain just by touching it" as I say this he starts out reluctant but by the end he understood what I meant and agreed.
"Ohh and do be careful if you tell anyone any smart ideas, it could turn them smart. With the curse that's the same as killing them."
"Now give me your hand and I can get started also dont fight the invading energy." I break his curse and say "Pleasure doing business with you, do be careful" I then decide I'll just go to all my teachers, and do this. Then just leave wood clones in class ,making sure they dont tell Dumbledore that is with the time contracts.
After I am done I asked them all without revealing to much info ,till it was too late. They all agreed but I didnt tell hooch. I probably made her too mad at me, when snape agreed and found out. Let's just say he wasn't dumbledores pawn anymore, as he seen that was a stupid idea almost immediately.What surprised me is he asked for an alliance with me and my father. I agreed on the condition of him not being mean to harry anymore and to have no bias in his classroom. He agreed easily as he said with the curse it's no wonder James was stupid, and no wonder she went out with him instead. I then decided to show him my food potion, he looked at it then immediately gave my house 50 points. He said he'd give more but then the old bones would have to approve. I understood and declined the offer. He asked if me or my father were gods, I said we are powerful enough that compared to the wizards, we would be considered gods.I then explained there are to many people that call themselfs gods, just because you a muggle can be a god to ants doesnt mean you are one. He understood and said no more. With this if my clone gets into any trouble the professors will back me up. I also gave filch a gift for his cat, a enchanted toy mouse that because of runes it becomes real and keeps the cats attention. He loved it and said mr Norris will enjoy it very much. He noticed his cat likes me alot and he found the cat had good judgement with people so i became the first student that he is nice to. As I finished ,and it was the end of the day I decided to do my chikrama excersises. I was practicing my air walking and I finally did it. I am now able to walk on air molecules in the air ,controlling mana chi and chakra combined to its mastery.
After that I decided I did alot for today and went to bed.
