Fram's childhood - Arc rise of the light kingdom

---

While Talion was busy preparing for the war, Fram, accompanied by 300 men, was in Seregost.

Wishing to weaken as much as possible the armies coming from khand, he has two major objectives that he has set for himself, to trap the roads to Seregost and Nurn.

Indeed, according to what Talion told him, an army of 20,000 men is approaching from the Khand regions.

This army is divided into two armies of equal strength, one going to Nurn, the other to Seregost.

Fram already knows the road to Nurn, having traveled it himself several times, and he knows that east of Nurn a great river originates from the mountains in the center of Mordor and flows into the Sea of Nurn.

Thus, only three bridges lead to Nurn, and without these bridges the armies of Khand would have no way to cross.

Having a plan in mind, Fram knows what he has to do, but if he cuts off the access to Nurn, the second army might join the first one in the direction of Seregost, which is not necessarily a good thing.

That's why he came to talk to the leader of the northern fortress, Wulf.

Waiting in a newly created lounge inside the fortress while sipping a glass of wine, Fram reminisces about his past life, his life before slavery.

...

Born into a poor peasant family in the middle of the desert, he had to work hard to get where he is today.

In his small village in the middle of the desert, his parents cultivated the family field, which was passed down from generation to generation.

In spite of the arid climate, some plants grow in this desert, having a rather important population, the access to food in the variags is very important.

That's why many villages are spread out across the desert, in order to have as many fields as possible.

In his village, his family, in spite of its work for generations, remains among the poorest of the small village of a hundred inhabitants.

This can be explained by the large amount of taxes present, and by the various malicious people in power wishing to possess everything and take without regard for people.

Having never been educated and not knowing how to read or write, Fram's family has always had a hard time making a living from their crops, being constantly ripped off by unscrupulous merchants.

Fram lived his childhood in poverty and hardship.

Seeing the difficult life of his parents and siblings, he always gave the best of himself whether it was in the fields or with small tricks to make the daily life of his family easier.

But his life took an unexpected turn one day, when he was only ten years old, his older brother was feverish and he was asked to accompany his father to sell the results of their labor.

And, while his father was about to be ripped off once again by the merchant, Fram in a contest of ciconstance understood that the price announced by the merchant was not the price he was paying to the other members of the village.

The policies of the village being very strict in matters of fraud, a case such as this one cannot remain unpunished, but who would believe a child of about ten years old?

But, by chance, the mayor of this small village, being a childhood friend of Fram's father and passing by, heard the discussion.

Knowing the market prices, and mad with rage, he had the merchant whipped to death in the village square, then he seized the merchant's possessions and gave part of them to Fram's family as compensation.

Happy to have helped his family and seeing their situation improve, Fram continued to create inventions to help everyone in the village.

Thus he introduced inventions such as the wheelbarrow and other inventions to make life easier for everyone.

One day, when he was only 15 years old, a representative from the capital who was passing through the desert stopped in the village.

Seeing all the inventions of this village and convinced that they are very useful and should be spread in the empire congratulated the mayor for his inventions, but the mayor being an honest and benevolent person, presented Fram as the creator of them.

Discovering this young prodigy, the man in question brought Fram back to the capital so that he could be educated and integrate the administration of the country.

It is then during several years that Fram studies in Khand, the capital of the variags of khand. After several years of study, he finally enters the administration, eager to help his village and to improve himself, he undertakes several reforms with success.

But, it is during his few years of services that he discovers a new world, a corrupted world, indeed, concentrated on his progression and his dreams, he discovers with amazement a religion which was then unknown to him in his remote village, the cult of melkor.

Being a country affiliated with Sauron, its inhabitants all worship melkor, the dark valar, the god of evil and the incarnation of destruction.

This cult is bloody, torture, sacrifice, each follower dedicates his whole life to this valar, imitating him, wishing to be recognized.

Disgusted by these practices, he is himself directly subjected to the laws of the latter, unable to do anything against it, he patiently improves his skills while planning subtle changes to try to reduce the influence of this cult, well anchored in the population.

And it is after some time that an opportunity arises, two blue mages, the istari enter the city.

They manage to change the mentality of some people, and a new cult appears, the cult towards era illuvatar, the creator of all.

Although Fram was skeptical of this new cult and these two mages, it wasn't as malicious as the melkor cult was, there was no violence, neither people were tortured or sacrificed.

Fram secretly worked with these two mages to create an internal revolution in the capital, but unfortunately he was discovered by a high ranking official before beginning his plan.

As a result of his actions, he was reduced and taken to Nurn as a slave. Worried about the situation of his family, he still thinks about them, hoping that they are safe in this chaotic country.

...

While he is in his thoughts, he is quickly pulled out of them by Wulf, entering the room.

Seeing Fram, Wulf speaks directly while laughing with a unique laugh

"Well, well well, what do we have here? A general, from the great, the unique, the powerful lord wuhohoho, sweet, really sweet "

"Wulf, is that right? I'll get right to the point, an army of men is coming from the east, there are 20,000 of them, 10,000 of them are coming to Seregost, the other half are going to Nurn, my goal is to reduce their numbers to the maximum before they arrive, and I need your help" he said in a serious tone

"Men uh? These dogs think they can take on the great kingdom of light? Sweet, really sweet, then I'll show them my two axes, they'll love them, I'm sure they will wuhohohoho" he replies while licking his lips.

"Wulf, I need to know the passage from the east, I want to know the best places to trap the men from the east, and if possible I will need 300 extra warriors".

"Well, well well, you need some manpower uh" Wulf says while making a thinking pose

"Sure, this will be sweet, I'll give you 250 orcs and some ologs with it, like this it will be easier for you, wuhohohoho, I just thought of it, but I'll provide you with snow wargs, fast, strong and sturdy, they'll be perfect to go faster in the area, I'll come with you to trap the place, I'll show you the best location wuhohoho " he says while laughing at the end, well decided to cut the enemies of his king.

"Thank you, I don't ask for less, we should leave right now to trap the place as soon as possible, they are a few days walk away after all" says Fram, satisfied with the reinforcements that Wulf puts at his disposal.

"Sweet, then come on, we'll go now!" answer Wulf while walking toward the exit.
