Chunin Exam-1

"Ready Sasuke?" It was Naruto who spoke, currently wearing a reversible jacket. One side was darker colors, good for camouflage while the inside lining was orange. What others wouldn't know is the number of seals present in not only Naruto's clothes but also Sasuke and Sakura's clothes.

They even had communication devices now, not because Sasuke had bought them, no because Naruto had cracked how they were made, and made his own.

As Sasuke stood he simply gave a nod, the three of them were just in front of the academy, entering in. As they walked they were called out towards.

''The one with sharp eyes, wait!" There was a stop as the three of them turned around, looking up to Lee.

Sasuke released a chuckle before he stepped forward.

"I would like to fight you, here and now!" Jumping over the railing, Lee landed. For some reason, it seemed the whole thing about Sakura was skipped.

(Simply because I don't want to write it.)

Instantly moving into a battle-ready stance.

Sasuke nodded a bit before he set a hand over the hilt of his sword, shifting his stance a bit to lower himself. "How far are you willing to take it?"

"To the finish! Come at me with all you ha-...." Lee's eyes seem to cloud before his body slumped over and he fell to the ground.

Naruto whistled. ''That's a new record, you put him out almost instantly.''

Sasuke shook his head as he stood straight once more. ''Wrong, his chakra system is refined and strong, but it is slow. He was just the worst opponent to match up against me, the moment he looked at me in the eyes with all that conviction to fight, he was done."

A bit away, hidden in a section that they could watch over the recruits, Guy's face was stone cold, his large arms crossed as he watched. ''I'm sorry Lee... But maybe with this, you'll learn there is still someone stronger than you out there, maybe not in Taijutsu... But like a ninja, there are many more things than fighting head-on."

He turned away, walking away as he went to go retrieve his student.

Sasuke quickly wrote a note down before putting it into the Genin's shuriken pouch. It was simply a note saying if he still wished to get stronger, to visit him in the Uchiha compound, where he would help him learn to combat genjutsu better.

Once he finished that they headed to the test room, before Kabuto could announce anything, Sasuke burned the cards.

"You are not the only one with information. It's rude to sell out your fellow ninjas, in your own village. But you've been doing that for a while Kabuto Yakushi.''

It was momentarily, but there was a twitch. Bait set, let's see how it plays out.

The only else notable happening is when Ino attempted to lunge at Sasuke from behind, and she ended up being flipped around and slammed onto the floor. The Nara chuckled a bit and Choji didn't seem to care much, too busy eating his chips to mind.

As they all sat down, the test began, and once it did. All three of them simply signed their names and then pushed their tests away to do their own thing. Sasuke leaned back and closed his eyes, relaxing. Naruto leaned forward to put his arms on the table to rest his head on his arms and sleep. Sakura was reading a medical book.

This seemed to upset quite a few people, even causing some to yell and get removed, and even as time passed, when the final question came around, without Naruto's speech a lot of people still left, leaving.

It was then they got the whole talk of how information was as valuable as lives at some points. Sasuke only started to pay attention once Anko broke through the window and did her whole spiel, without the part where she said the examiner was losing his touch because there were so many students.

She seemed only mildly interested in the amount left.

Sasuke was interested on admiring her, she was not only pretty, but an absolute banger of a woman. He rubbed at his face, realizing what they did to her in Boruto and how much of a shame it was, releasing a sigh he stood with the rest of them as they began to follow Anko to the next destination, The Forest of Death.

As the first examiner, Ibiki Morino was collecting the paper. He came across the first which was Naruto, chuckling at himself, before he began to go through the other papers as well, first seeing Sakura's empty as well, then Sasuke's. When he saw none of them had anything but their name and team on it, he roared into laughter.

These three students were either the luckiest to pass or the smartest. He would need to keep an eye on them, maybe bet some money on them. He heard that the Uchiha boy had beat Guy's little taijutsu monster, he was already planning to bet heavily on him for sure.

The exams began with her explaining that to get past this test would require two scrolls, and being told not to open them. Each team would have a different scroll. A test of survival for 5 days to get the scrolls you need, and get to the middle of the forest where they would all be waiting.

Sasuke summoned one of his birds before entering. Sending it out with a simple message to Kakashi, one that would turn the tide in their favor immediately.

The moment they entered the forest, Team 7 began to move out.

Moving quickly through the forest, they had an earth scroll so they were aiming for a heaven scroll. It didn't take them long but they did come across a few teams but with some observation realized they were holding scrolls not worth it to them.

They did eliminate a few to have extra earth scrolls just in case. However, it was when they heard a loud Roar did Sasuke move quickly.

As they all landed on a tree above they witnessed a girl running away from a massive bear, only to trip and get cornered. Sasuke leaped into action, sending a strong kick downwards directly at the crown of the skull causing the bear to pass out. Once he looked down to Karin, did he smile at her.

Waifu found, and she was holding a Heaven scroll, unlike cannon. He then focused on her more clearly before he jumped down from the bear, walking to her he grabbed her hand. She flinched as he pulled her up to look down at her.

"Bite marks... Red hair, red eyes, large chakra reserve. You're an Uzumaki, aren't you?"

She shakily shook her head up and down, a mixture of fear and awe.

''You're working for Kusagakure? Why."

"Because that's where my mother was.... Where she died.''

"Died? Chakra Exhaustion most likely... Fine, you're coming with us. Under Village law 53 E, Paragraph twelve, Uzumaki are supposed to stay within Konoha."

He pulled her over his shoulder and lifted her up easily, once he whistled they began to travel quickly to the center. Sakura was struggling to keep up with both Sasuke and Naruto at their speed, but she was.

"How did you know how she died?" Karin asked, confused at the events going on. But, a slight amount of hope... Could she leave that horrible place finally?

"The bite marks, usually Uzumaki's gifted at healing like you learn proper medical ninjutsu to channel it, but in the case of emergency, you can bite them. You're from a backwater village that I doubt would have proper medical-nin... The test has barely started and you are already low on reserves, meaning your team is weak. The problem with biting is it takes far more chakra than it needs. But if you knew proper medical ninjutsu, it'd be much easier.''

Karin went silent, simply staring at Sasuke as he traveled with her, it was then Sakura noticed her eyes, and they felt only slightly familiar.

She wasn't sure of it yet, but she was positive feelings of love were starting to blossom in Karin.

"Worst case? Naruto finally gets a family member."
