Preparation

Honestly? He did, he would just regret each and every moment of needing to deal with the two of the bushy brow Youth pastors.

But they were also two of the greatest people to make sure his body was in top-tier condition, as well as just how far he had come with this newfound power.

Gathering his equipment and clothes he got everything together before he took a long shower and made himself a large serving of breakfast, now understanding why Naruto could put so much food away.

By the time he finished eating he had cleared a large majority of his normal stock of food out, he would need to go shopping for far more.

As he took off from the compound, he was far faster than before and it took him a few tries to catch up to the point that he could land and take off safely without causing property damage.

There was a 'Ninja Insurance' for such things, but just because he was filthy rich does not mean he should just randomly break things.

As he picked up speed, getting used to his body more easily he took off to the training field to see if he could get in contact with Kakashi.

Once he was there it didn't take long for him to spot his teacher leaning against a tree, once he landed next to him Kakashi greeted with a small nod. ''Our friends settled in?"

"Yeap, out of sight out of mind, but I have something to request of you."

Kakashi got a strange shiver down his spine, not entirely sure why he began to look around. ''What is it, my dear little Genin?"

''The Eight Gates technique, do you know how to properly train for it?"

Kakashi's hands got slightly clamy on that thought. ''I do, but the training is hell, and not everyone can properly learn it due to just how their body works, are you sure you want it?"

"Yes, and would it be possible to get access to the Flying Thunder God?"

Kakashi released a sigh. ''That is easier to get access to, since the fourth was my teacher. I already have some of his notes on it, looking to become the next edgy flash?"

Sasuke shook his head, a grin spread across his face as he just stared at Kakashi.

Kakashi watched him awhile before his face twisted in horror. ''Oh my god... An army of clones good at taijutsu that can teleport anywhere on the battlefield... What monsters am I helping?"

Sasuke shrugged. ''Fine pillars for the Village Hidden in the leaves... Though we're not so hidden.''

Kakashi snickered at that, shaking his head. ''The irony isn't lost on me, that's for sure... I'll get them for you, but I can't do it before the Chunin exams."

Sasuke understood that they would at least need to go through with the exams before being allowed to learn these things. Though Kakashi did say something. ''I'd like you to promise not to use the Chidori if you can avoid it. It is an assassination technique, and whereas dying is quite common in the exams, the relationships between the villages are quite rocky right now. With the possible things going on in the village, we can't fight the enemy from both sides."

"I understand and don't worry. I don't plan to use it unless my life is on the line."

Kakashi gave a nod before eventually, Naruto arrived yawning loudly with Sakura a bit later, as the two of them arrived. Kakashi and Sasuke both jumped down to greet them.

When they were informed of the Chunin exams, all of them agreed, though Sakura did bring something up. ''When I become a Chunin, I will begin to focus on my medical studies... Which will most likely mean I will be removed from Team 7 and put into a medical team.''

Kakashi gave a nod, Naruto looked upset but he also understood. In the past few months, he understood exactly why most stayed at the level of Chunin, or even Genin. He learned how harsh the world was, and how little it cared for mercy.

"We'll still visit you in the hospital, and I'm sure you'll most likely end up seeing us occasionally when we get hurt."

Sakura nodded. ''I'll be around only long enough until they find a replacement.''

Sasuke leaned back against a tree, his arms crossed in thought. This couldn't have come at a better time. That meant if he played his cards and political power right, he could get Karin to join them instead.

He had thought about still joining Orochimaru, but because of Hagoromo. He had no more use of the Snake Sannin... Though his many techniques and abilities would still be incredibly useful, he had a plan for those as well... He just needed to get a certain assistant alone.

Which, wouldn't be hard, but before then he would also need to do a bit of stealing, which wasn't unusual for a ninja.

Getting into the Yamanaka compound was... Actually pretty easy, chakra suppressant seals and other various fuinjutsu was able to make his presence practically mute, nor was it hard getting his hands on a sleeping member of the family.

With a scentless sleeping powder, he put them into a deeper sleep that allowed him to pull their eyelids open and dive into their memories with his Sharingan, something that was rarely known was its capabilities of it.

Why was he in the mind of a mind specialist? Because their techniques would massively help him in his art, and make it so he wouldn't even need for them to be asleep to do it properly, like an old wizard he knew about.

Once he reserved the techniques he was aiming for and got them properly sorted in his own head he continued to do this, leaving no trace, and none would be the wiser.

As he left he returned to the Uchiha library, he had even if not through the means recommended made it so it was possible to have his Sharingan open constantly without getting tired. It was time he begin to read some of the oldest texts they had.

"Kid, I don't know where you got the chakra metal needed to forge this, but know it's not the best work. It'll do you good as long as you maintain it properly, but compared to some of the work of legends, it won't hold up long to them."

Sasuke chuckled as he examined the straight-backed Chokuto, like the sword of Kusanagi but shorter to match his still growing frame, not only did he have it commissioned right after the land of waves mission.

But it also arrived, the day before the first set of Chunin examinations.

"Well, whatever kid. Just don't go against one of the legendary blades and you'll be fine.''

Sasuke slowly looked from the blade as he sheathed it, to the blacksmith he had it commissioned by, suppressing the smile that threatened to break out.

'Almost like he can see my future?'

He laughed with the blacksmith before Sasuke left, arming it across his lower back like the original Sasuke had done he began to move.

He still needed to pick up some medicine, antidotes, and a few other things he might need for this test.

(A warning for everyone. I'm soon to become incredibly busy, my wife had a death in her family, so she is flying out to spend time with family and attend the funereal, which means I am picking up all the things she needs to do usually.)
