Death Lord-" The hell is that...."

The carriage that we wanted was in the view but there was an armoured lizard-like creature in that area. They kind of reminded me of dinosaurs, the one with heavy armour I think it was called something like ankylosaur and they were pretty aggressive or more like every dinosaur is.

( Author- The dinosaur actual name is Ankylosaurus and it was a herbivore not that much aggressive in nature.)

???-" They are Armada."

A new voice and so close at that did Black death return, I tried to look at my shadow but was met with a pair of brown eyes.

Melena- " Mother!"

Oh I almost forgot I was carrying her mother she looks fine so I put her down with care and taking the support of my hand she stood up.

Melena - " Mother."

Melena hugged her Mother while crying and with such a speed that both of them were going to fall but Cecil supported them.

I didn't want to interrupt their heart touching reunion of mother and daughter but

Death Lord-" Sorry for the interruption but miss do you know the circumstances."

Mother -" Etto I only remember faintly but there was a wyvern attacking and you were trying to save us and I saw that wyvern flying after you kick him shouting lines like a hero."

Death Lord- "..."

Mother-" Ara?"

She remembers too much dammit, I so wanna runway now. What was I thinking of speaking those cheesy lines?

I was starting the sky when Cecil started to pat my head.

Cecil - " Don't worry master, Cecil will always love Master."

Death Lord-" I don't need a brat's confession to cheer up."

Cecil pouts cutely on my words, I want to tease her more ( Author- Valor Lolicon) I pat her head

Death Lord-" It cheered me up nonetheless."

Cecil smiled at my reply and I stood up and went towards the chatting duo of mother and daughter.

Mother-"Ara looks like little Cecil cheered you up."

Death Lord-" Geh... Leaving that aside. Miss, what do you want to do now?"

Mother -" Mel told me that our house was destroyed in the wyvern rampage, this village has lingering memories of her father but it is high time now, we will move forward in life. she told you were taking us to the capital. Is it true?"

Mel must be Melena nickname

Death Lord-"Surley what Mel told you was right we are going to the capital and we are waiting for that elf."

Mother-" That elf didn't you left her as a decoy to escape."

Death Lord-"No."

Mother -" Ara, you are quite softhearted for a undead."

what is this lady saying

Death Lord-" Wh- who is soft-hearted?, I merely don't want to waste such a good pawn for my use."

Mother -" Not so honest are we."

She mumbled something but I will pretend not hearing it.

Death Lord-" Miss about-"

Mother -"Ara how rude I have a name."

Sorry I didn't use [Appraisal] on you the hell I am supposed to know that.

Mother -" It's Gloria, Gl-O-Ria."

I head that at the first time but the armada are the bigger problem. I was seriously exhausted and didn't want to expend any more energy other than pulling the carriage but we can't reach that carriage without clearing the armada from the area.

Should we wait for Kreshelia but we don't know if she would not be injured or in the condition to fight them, looks like I am the only one who can kill them. I have to push my limits now and as I was steeling up my determination a strange conversation draws my attention.

Gloria-" Ara these armadas are stopping our path, I should clean them up."

Did a villager just said that she will clear up a horde of monster, I must have misheard her

Gloria-" Mel dear? did you bring my bag."

Melena - " Yes mother."

She hands Gloria a worn down small jute bag, did that contained money but what came out of that shocked me. it was 1-meter long dual-sided battle-axe with a black handle and a silver blades.

It has to be pretty heavy but that woman in her late twenties was lifting that heavy axe with a single hand like it was some toy.

She destroyed my image of a village lady living in the boonies. but having strength doesn't mean everything she must also have the skills and courage to kill other beings. I don't want a needless death on my watch.

Death Lord-" Miss Gloria, Leave the fighting to me, I don't want you to suffer needless injury."

Gloria-" But isn't lord exhausted after fighting the wyvern and Mel told me you were fighting for two

days."

How is news travelling so fast, did Melena heard this from Cecil? and what is lord ,my new nickname and where is death in that I am not some Nobel.

Either way, I can't let someone without experience fight and die.

Death Lord-" Even so-"

Gloria-" You worry too much even though I look like this I was once called war maiden."

Never heard of that but it sounds cool but

Death Lord -" It would be different in when you were young but considering your age no-"

" Shiiiing"

The axe moves and stops right before me I could see it at the last moment and could have reacted but chose not to because the eyes of Gloria reminded me of Christina and I am not saying that I regard to beauty but to danger.

Gloria-" Never mention age in front of a lady and you were smart enough to know experienced fighters can feel if they are appraised."

I had a hunch it was like that so I stopped appraising people after entering the Academy and am glad to do so and this lady in front of me was no weak women but she was strong nothing I can't defeat but I can't defeat in my current situation so.

Death Lord-" As you say Maam."

Gloria-" I would like if you called me Gloria though I am not that much older than you."

Like hell that is true, only a fool can say that in this situation and I am no fool so I kept my silence.

After silencing me Gloria took her better axe and charged at the group of dinosaurs no armadas.

Death Lord-" I pity the dinosaurs they were going to get extinct again but where is that elf?"
