Waking up once more I finally realized I would end up in this same position everyday for most likely the rest of my life. Sighing I tapped on the sleeping lizard. "PST....Emblaze, partner wake up." Stirring a bit the lizard looked up with an annoyed face. "You better wake up soon, scale faced friend." I was committed to trying to get him up. "So You Just gonna lay there and stare at me," Emblaze couldn't help asking sarcastically assured the human would never understand him. "It's not like your trying to get up either."
Smirking on the inside I thought of pranking him or better yet simply messing with him at this particular moment. "Why my friend, why would I ever want to stare at you in the eyes. I'm not in a romantic movie looking for my prince charming after all." OK so maybe subtlety keying people in that I understood was not one of my key strong points, but this still would be extremely funny to watch.
Blinking a few times and questioning it's sanity; the lizard started wondering over its life choices. Did it have some hidden guilt towards saying sarcastic things towards its trainer? Perhaps he unconsciously remembered only half doing something for his trainer. But what was at first impossible was quickly proven true when it was blatantly put in his face. "Nope, my friend I can see that look, and you are one hundred percent not insane. Maybe that's a lie, but you're not experiencing symptoms from that right now."
Stuttering in disbelief the Charmander couldn't help but ask the obvious question. "Can you actually understand me?" Breaking down laughing for the first time in forever I found that this moment would probably go down as one of my most precious memories if I was ever willing to list them out. "That's correct Emblaze, now you can't just talk bad about me behind my back; or wait..... is it technically behind my back when its just that I previously didn't understand anything you said to my face. Anyways now when you talk about me I can react accordingly."
After a few seconds the Charmander jumped into my arms, and in return I took him into them easily and hugged it. I felt that maybe the Pokemon felt a lot more alone than they went on about. They were stuck with a trainer who couldn't understand their words and communicate with to the extent people with the same language could. It was the same as a foreigner showing up in a place and trying to talk with people without knowing the language. It made living with people in this method frustrating. It would make you feel alone... Something I could sympathize with. "I won't leave you to talk to yourself Emblaze, after all what kind of partner would I be to leave you alone all the time." "Thanks.....Lazaro," the lizard whispered with its tear stained voice. "No Problem."
After separating I looked though the memories I had gained from the Store. The most interesting thing I found was that the shop transferred the experience into a copy of my body which allowed me not to need time to adjust minus the initial transfer of the memories.
Deciding to get to work I started talking more serious than before "OK so what I want to work on with you is two points: your speed, your ember, and lastly one thing that you can chose to improve on. Lets start with the first two that way you can think on the third while you do the work." I knew that on the first day the body mostly needed to adjust to the training as such he only needed to complete the tasks not give it his all.
"I understand.....man this feels weird talking to another person even if you are my trainer. In fact it's especially weird because you are my trainer." Smiling I nodded "It's understandable really considering it came out of no wheres."
"Speaking of which where did it come from," the lizard couldn't help but ask. Hearing the question I tensed up. If I tell him about it I could one day potentially die due to someone's greed; on the other hand I could also die if we got into some danger that was to far above our strengths, and the only way to save ourselves was to use my system.
Hearing how the question made his partner pause up he decided to not ask him more. After all even friends have secrets between each other. Coming to a decision Emblaze made up his mind "It's fine if you don't tell me, as I have secrets you'll have secrets, after all even friends keep secrets from each other to safe guard the others and themselves. so don't tell me, I don't want our newly refreshed partnership to be changed in any form."
Hearing this I gave a small smile in thanks "OK then it's time to get started," I voiced out loud similar to an announcer at some sport. "Unlike before I now have a better method to train you that isn't close to suicidal." Hearing a small "The joy," I couldn't help but chuckle a bit in my mind.
"Your body has gained a natural ability to produce this heat so it's almost pointless to train this until you have more Aura. What I plan to help you with is the combining of 5 embers into one. These embers will be as such 5 times bigger. Thanks to combining these embers however the explosion will be instead 10 times more powerful per enlarged ember as such you'll gain twice the bang without having to control as many balls of fire, and as such you also won't need as super fine of a control over the embers as you already have with this new form."
Emblaze after listening to my explanation felt he understood the content better than the first time I described my plan to train. "That's strange," he mumbled to himself putting it aside as just growing smarter, which it was in partial but barely the full truth. "As I was saying to do this we are mainly going to practice ember slowly at first, but faster later on so that you can do it later like it's second nature.
