I was standing in front of the gates of town staring into the forest early that morning. Beside me stood my trusted partner in crime or well whatever he was to me, and we were going to tackle our biggest job yet.
"Char....Char...Mander....Mander....Char," the furious lizard growled out. "It's not my fault," I argued back for what must of been the seventh time oh... wait it was. I had decided this morning that I needed to wake my partner up early. Once I had done so however, the lizard started panicking and in his panic used embers all around us almost burning down the hotel that we were staying at. Well maybe that was an over exaggeration considering most building are most Pokemon resistant in this world. Still the damages to the room needed to be payed for.
Thankfully I soon found out the room repairs itself costed me only a couple of hundred Pokebucks. Turns out the building materials in this world were dozens of times cheaper to ones from earth in addition to their better properties. People got tired of rebuilding and the mother of all all inventions came through (Laziness). seems production was boosted with Pokemon productivity as well.
"Charmander...Char,"(You are the trainer maybe if you tried to explain things to me sooner these things wouldn't of happened) the lizard said stomping its foot down. "Yeah and.....," however at that moment I was stopped by something that had hit the back of my head. Looking around I noticed that a ball of some kind had hit me, and that two completely idiotic looking people were running towards me.
"Were sorry young man," they said. Seeing no harm done even if they annoyed me like pests I knew they were, I decided to walk off and ignore them. The main reason for this was due to the fact that these were the two Team Rocket Buffoons as well as one very poorly disguised Meowth. They were Jessie, James, and like I mentioned before Meowth. With a capital M. He deserved the respect for learning how to speak human. I had to give it to him. No matter even if the only reason he did so was to try and impress a potential mate.
They hurriedly stepped forwards to stop me, but in return I looked back at them annoyed. Really not wanting to say anything but knowing I had; I gave a sigh and commenced with the uselessly polite talk that I knew wouldn't work. "It's no big deal so just get the ball and go." Was it crude sounding? Yes. Did I care? No. "No really young trainer let us make it up to you with a dinner. It might not be much but it would at least be another meal you wouldn't have to purchase out of your own money."
"Easily seeing through their plans I decided to lie making up a story of my own. "Oh, in that case would you allow me to invite my friend officer Jenny?" Hearing the name of the person they needed to avoid at all costs they quickly ran off without even leaving a word behind. They didn't even try and hide that they were crooks. Speechless Charmander wondered why I let the obviously bad people run away.
Understanding the question from the way it was acting I just pointed towards the woods. Getting the message quickly the lizard grumbled to itself as it started walking into it. It wasn't looking forwards to training. Especially after the waterfall.

As we walked though the forest trails I quickly noticed that unlike in the games you could go in any direction in this forest since it was real. It gave me a sense of realism that once more proved just how much my life would truly be different from then on. After walking for maybe forty minutes we had finally found the place where we had previously trained. Thanks to knowing the general location it hadn't taken to long to get there this time around.
"Hey Emblaze what do you want to focus on first," I needed to know to get a better plan based on the points that I wanted to train him in as well as his wants. "Char..Char...Char." As I looked over at him I just slapped my hand once more over my face at forgetting the basic fact that Pokemon can't talk to humans minus one annoying Meowth. Well certain psychic Pokemon as well as certain legendary ones did I suppose, but mine couldn't yet, and that was what mattered in this situation.
Thinking out loud I screamed in mild frustration "I wish I could actually communicate with these creatures." In a response I was not expecting however I received message.
"Host at the cost of 10 Pokepoints it is possible to learn the Pokemon language as a Ability in the shop."
Smiling I went straight to the store. I wondered if there was a first time free gift pack like I had seen in other novels. As I opened the list and went to the Abilities section I wondered just how much money I had that I could use in the store. Looking at the screen I noticed a exclamation point in the corner of it. Tapping on it; it expanded into a message.
"For owning one unique Pokemon organism +5
For capturing a unique Pokemon organism +5
For capturing a previously publicly unknown Pokemon and releasing the discovery to the world you have gained +50 Points."
Laughing at the rewards I started reading some choices from the abilities list such as...
"Fire Mayhem: Pokemon under your instruction will be able to produce 5 percent stronger flames.
Fire Mayhem 2: Pokemon under your instruction will be able to produce a 10 percent hotter flames. Replaces the previous weaker version. Unable to be bought until previous version is bought.
Water Mayhem
Thunder Mayhem
Ect....."
What I decided to get first was an ability called Pokespeech. The ability to speak the Pokemon language. As I confirmed the purchase, I felt a throbbing pain suddenly all at once in my head that was probably the worst headache that I had ever experienced. That was until it went away leaving a abyss of in depth knowledge of how to speak Pokemon in my mind.
The feeling left me in in wonder and in unfiltered joy as I went over it. In fact I would be able to write a book about it. Give or take that I would need to wait to do so after all I need to not let everybody think I somehow became a genius in a few nights. Everybody that I had known in this world would probably try to pick my brain apart to figure out how I had done it.
Well I wanted to take that last comment back I wouldn't mind them knowing me as a genius in training Pokemon. Going back to the store I used my 10 points to buy Fire Mastery- Allows the user to teach a Pokemon better at growing the strength of their flame attacks. This will allow a 5 percent increase in learning speed of all things fire while learning under the user.
The reason I got this skill and not the other was because I was still young and as such could train my Pokemon more compared to others in this current world. At once I felt light headed and passed out then and there. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to absorb to much knowledge at once. But it's not like I was given a warning or anything.
