Training as a Slime (4)

Cori watched in astonishment at the holographic projection. His siblings and grandma were living in luxury. It showed them being waited upon by servants and maids, enjoying luxurious meals, and even having personal trainers, chauffeurs, and body guards. A man in a stylish suit and sunglasses appeared. He looked strangely familiar to Cori. The man took off his shades and with a snap of his finger, a secretary appeared out of no where to report to him. The secretary then turned around and faced in Cori's direction.

"Hi Cori, I'm sure you are watching this video now. As you can see, our Lord and Deity of the current world you are in, is in your body now. Once our Lord had finished his vacation, he will return to his world and you will get your life back on Earth. Just enjoy and try not to die. If you die, we won't be able to retrieve your soul back to Earth."

The Cori on Earth snapped his fingers again and the projection ended.

"You can't tell me what to do! How dare you steal my body without my consent and kidnap me here!", was what Cori wanted to say but what came out was, "Squeak! Whee, wheezy. Squeeeeak! Squeak!!".

After the outburst, Cori felt a burden lifted off his body. He thought to himself that at least his family was well taken care of and that there was a chance he could return home. 

After finishing the delicious spread of food, he bounced off the table and headed towards the door. "Ting!", and the skill (Bounce) was registered. Using (Paw) and (Sticky Fluid), he turned the door handle and enter the living room. The cozy living room was piled with books in every corner. He used (Observation) and was able to memorise all the book titles in sight. It seemed his language proficiency had increased after the meal. 

He picked up a thick red book and began reading. "Ting! combine skill (Paw) and (Sticky Fluid) to create (Sticky Paws)?" Cori, acknowledged the message and squeaked positively. "Ting! Skill (Sticky Paws) registered as passive skill. User can now use up to 4 paws." The book depicts the basics of using different swords, how one should hold them when attacking and defending. It also listed various swords around the world and where to find them. There were also descriptions of how and when each sword was made, the sword smith who made the sword, and how one should maintain and clean the sword.
