Seeing his disciple listening carefully old man Vishwas continued his teaching and explained many different properties of energy to him.

Old man Vishwas continued " the first step in becoming the master of matter energy is to be able to observe the matter energy around us. Matter energy can not be seen with naked eyes and only be felt using various senses, best being the spiritual sense. So, first you need to learn how to meditate."

Old man Vishwas started instructing him how to meditate and the first instruction was to sit in Lotus position or the padmasana as old man Vishwas said.

It took karam almost five minutes and some forceful pulling of legs in the correct position to sit properly in lotus position.

Old man Vishwas than instructed " now you need to first try to stop any extra thoughts from entering your mind. Than try sensing the matter energy with your sense of surroundings."

Karan took his time and started his first attempt in meditating but it was easier said than done. It was even hard to empty his mind from extra thoughts that were going on in his mind. Karan kept trying to empty his mind but still failed and opened his eyes in exasperation. Karan lied down with all his limbs extended and started taking deep breaths.

Old man Vishwas seeing the state of his disciple smiled and said " it's normal to not succeed in first attempt. Now get up it's already afternoon let's have lunch than there are other things for you to do."

Karan hearing his master's words realised it was already afternoon and felt his stomach was empty. Karan than followed his master to the kitchen and there begin another cooking lesson from a master to his disciple.

Karan was hearing intently and helped wherever he could. He was trying his best to learn everything his master taught him. His efforts were not in vain as he was learning many new things he never thought he would.

After eating the delicious lunch cooked by his master, the master and disciple duo returned to there place under the banyan tree and started the training of meditation again. But this time old man Vishwas was just sitting and observing his disciple without meditating.

Karan trying his best to empty his mind from all extra thoughts was finally getting some results. He was able to empty his mind and feel his surroundings by just relying on his other senses.

Old man Vishwas seeing karan's breathing becoming smooth unconsciously was proud of his disciple. He was having a content smile on his face as he observed his disciple entering the meditative state just after a couple hours after he began trying.

Karan kept meditating but was unable to sense the matter energy in his surroundings. So he opened his eyes and found his master looking at him with a smile. Thus, he smiled back in response.

Old man Vishwas said " I guess it's enough meditation for the day. Come with me."

Old man Vishwas than went into the house and Karan followed him quitely without saying anything. His master took him to the study room which was filled with different kinds of books that were nearly arranged in wooden shelves.

Old man Vishwas began explaining " this study contains books about history, geography, politics, war strategies and various knowledges present in world. Some of them were written by me and rest were passed on to me by my master. It will be part of your training to gain knowledge from all these books after meditating till dinner time."

Karan was looking at all the books with starry eyes as he has never got the chance to read books about all these different topics, even if he was taught to read and write in the town hall.
