Chapter 34 : Revelations and More

Tiessa was just sitting there, calmly seated on one of the chairs by the fire. I couldn’t understand it. Why wasn’t she trying to run away, to escape? She was an Omega; she could transform and run away. It would be the simplest thing for her to do.

‘She was an Omega when you took her too,’ a part of my mind whispered. ‘She couldn’t just transform and run away from you either. There would have been consequences to that.’

It made sense, and I had to agree that there was more to this than what I knew was going on. And then I berated myself. Was my faith in my mate so weak that I couldn’t even give her a chance to see what was really going on?

But it wasn’t my faith in Tiessa that was wavering. Not really. In everything, I saw my mother. And in every action, I felt her betrayal.
