Chapter 20 : Back to Reality

The next morning, I woke up and was the captive Luna again, while Varon was back to being the captor Alpha.

But I couldn’t forget last night when I had just been Tiessa. When I had just been with my mate.

I turned over and found that he was awake, but still in bed, his arm still around me. I couldn’t deny the warmth I felt from it. And the peace. I didn’t expect that. But at this moment, I felt safe.

“How long have you been awake?” I asked in a murmur, still a bit asleep.

“A while,” he answered, his voice just as low. “I didn’t want to get out of bed.”
