Ch 8: Crown Game

[Evankhell's Hell | Bam's Side]

"Did you have enough rest, regulars?"

Amidst the resting regulars, two blondies came inside the room. Lero Ro, the second test area admin, came with Yellowy, a test assistant in the second floor.

Lero Ro is a tall man with blonde hair. He has a matching yellow eyes and two black spots beneath them. He wears a black shirt, black pants, and white coat.

"Oh, Mr. Lero Ro." Bam greeted with his cute smile.

"Hahaha, regulars! I came here with a very good news." Said Lero Ro attracting the attention of the regulars.

"Good news?" One of the regular asked.

"Yeah! I spoke with the test director earlier, and he told us to give you a bonus game!" Lero Ro announced.

"Sorry but, it's not good for us to have more test." Shibisu, man with a regular face wearing a purple sweatsuit, refuted.

"I'm sorry to hear that. But the bonus game has nothing to do with the test. It is up to you to play or not, there's no penalty."

Hearing this, many regulars are not interested taking part in this game. Most of them tried to save as much energy as possible for the next test. But what Lero Ro said next would change their minds.

"But... The winner of this bonus game... Can get the right to go straight to the next floor!"

Lero Ro surprised every regular in the room. Even a certain Phonsekal family member, who loved sleep more than anything, opened his eyes.

"The right to go straight to the next floor? What about the remaining test?" Khun Aguero Agnis, another member of Khun family, inquired.

"They don't have to take them." See that everyone interested, Lero Ro stated with satisfaction.

"Wow! That's a huge advantage. So, what is the bonus game?" Another regular asked.

"This game is called 'The Crown Game'."

Afterwards, Lero Ro led the regulars to a huge room with throne in the middle. He arranged a room for each team. Then he proceeded to explain how to play the game and it's general rules.

Before he started the game, he added one thing.

"Oh yes, one more thing, two team from another test spot will be participating. It is a long story.

Well then! Let's start the game!"

[Drake's Side]

In the cell's where Killua and Usopp wait.

"Yo kids! Do you miss me?"

Drake came at the right time.

"Drake!" Killua and Usopp called.

From their previous events, they began to depends on him. Moreover they know that Drake must be a special guy. No way a test director who is only under the ruler asked to talk with a regular if there's nothing suspicious.

"Wassup with this game, hope I don't miss anything."

Drake knew what they are thingking. But he ignored it and asked them about this game. The two then told him the general game rules.

"I think it would be the best to join in the 3rd or 4th round." Killua added with uncertain tone.

"Huh? Not the last?" Ask Usopp confused.

"No, Kill is right, ..." Drake then explained why it's better to join the 3rd round.

"Mr. Lero Ro said the details is on the book beside the buzzer. Let's check it out."

Just when they about to read. Lero Ro voice comes again.

[Evankhell's Hell | Crown Game Arena]

The game has started.

[Starting now, I will count for the first round participant!]

[One! Two! Three! Four! Five!!]

*BEEP*

... Two teams, has entered the game ...

As Drake expected, only few teams that joined. In his thoughts. Who joined in first round is either very stupid and impatient or very strong so they are confident to win five round straight.

So he observed the two teams that joined. Again, he found someone interesting.

'Well well, the tower is really interesting. It also has a lot of interesting people. It's only my first day!'

'Tsk tsk tsk, that side character team is going to suffer. That green lizard girl has a similar breath with Yuri and Endorsi. Is she a Jahad's Princess?'

'She also brought a toy that's pretty dangerous. There is a soul inside of it, and that soul is at least on a ranker level.'

'But what is more dangerous is that resentment who hide deeply inside. It seems like it is bound by a contract and can't do anything at the moment.'

As Drake thought. Anaak easily beat the other team by herself. The three side character tried to run and get the crown first. But...

Anaak stepped on the throne and finally used her hook.

Green april grew longer and strike all the enemies. This act shocked everyone except Drake and Lero Ro. Then Anaak wore the crown marking the end of the first round.

[Since Ms. Anaak sat before five minutes elapsed, this round winner is the team of Anaak, Shibisu, and Hatz.]

After some talk, the second round began.

[I'll start to count now. One! Two! Three! Four! Five!!]

*BEEP*

Another two teams joined this round.

'Hmm... that sleepy head is quite good, he should be another great family member. Still, compared to Anaak, there is no chance to win.'

As time passed. One of the challenger team easily defeated by Hatz. Anaak doesn't even need to move. Only then did the sleepyhead wake up and used shinsu.

BANG!!

Anak was shot directly by the shinsu.

"Give us the crown. I can attack you from anywhere." Laure threatened, but it only makes Anaak angry.

'Oh she'll use that thing? I'll press F for you sleepyhead.'

"You- I will kill... all of you. IGNITION!!"

WHAM!!

Green April in her hands turns into a massive root-like weapon. She swing it to Laure but he dodged it. Everyone shocked again by this green lizard.

"You said you can attack me from anywhere. Well then. I can attack everywhere from this throne!"

Crack... WHAM!!

The massive Green April separates into many pieces trapped Laure inside. But as it was about to hit him. She suddenly stopped.

Laure's team used this moment to back to their cell.

Unexpectedly, Anaak who won this round jumped off the throne herself. And broke into one of the cells.

Drake who saw this of course became curious. He used his Shinsu Sensing Technique to watch the drama.

"Give me that weapon, kid." Anaak ordered.

Drake smiled. 'So it's him, Bam...'
