CH 18

"man! That was something. I was just trying to get a fire resistance, yet I ended up getting a lot more!" said alpha while drenched in sweat

" As I said, I won't be surprised anymore, you can get as much skills as you want, and I won't care, but still, good for you, you're getting stronger really fast!" The mask was trying to sound mature and not impressed, yet her voice showed otherwise...

Although Alpha didn't buy it, but he still played along non the less " indeed, I wouldn't expect these little achievements to impress the great mask, but anyway, I could use a shower right now, or maybe a bath, with this room being so hot, it kind of feel like a Sona, or maybe a hot spring"

Alpha really wanted to take a bath, but unfortunately there wasn't much water in this dungeon

now he can only rely on himself to create it, he already used wind and fire magic, it's about time to learn some water magic

he sat down and started thinking of his next move, how would he go about with creating water, since he doesn't have any good lead, he decided to start with pouring his Mana out and shaping it to a sphere, then he got stuck, he didn't know what to do next

if it was air then he could just use Mana to move it or compress it, and if it was fire he will just heat up the Mana enough to light it up

but for water, it's completely different, he would have to completely change the nature of his Mana, but he didn't know how to do that "hmm... I need water... water... Sea... ocean... liquid... wet... moist... H2O.."

He still didn't know what to do, so he just gave up and opened his eyes, what he saw cause him to freeze for a second

a blob of water was floating in front of him! right where his mana was! "umm... mask, Is this water, Uhh... Did I create that?" Alpha tilted his head slightly to the side in confusion, with an innocent look on his face

and as per usual,The mask with her hot temper had to comment on that "of course it is! this is your magic you idiot! can't you tell?!"

" No, I mean... that was easy... are you sure it's not another slime? or maybe something else?"

"Of course not! this is your magic you idiot. and plus, monsters cannot enter the safe Zone, and this dungeon isn't so generous to just give you some water for free, this is completely your own doing you block head" the mask was going at it once again with her hot temper, it was just so unbearable to see someone with as much intelligence as Alpha act like a brainless fool

"No.. I mean... I can create anything just by imagining it? I mean... that would have been a lot easier when I was creating fire! why didn't you tell me?!!"

Alpha was getting irritated, he had to go through a lot of suffering just to create some fire, yet he could have just imagined it with some Mana in front of him and it would be done?

the mask clearly knew that, yet she didn't tell him? that was pure bullying! she was bullying him! Alpha couldn't remove this idea from his brain and got even angrier

"Well... you looked like you were having a lot of fun, and I didn't want to bother you, so... I could only watch silently while you were going at it , it was quite the interesting show if I say so myself"

The mask was so smug and teasy, but she couldn't help it, her curiosity got the best of her, she really wanted to see how alpha would get it done

"Why you... I really wanna punch you but I know I can't! sigh... that's so unfair"

It couldn't be helped, the mask was glued to his face, punching her is punching himself, he couldn't be bothered to use his skills or anything else, since the mask wouldn't receive any damage nor feel any pain

In order to vent out his frustration, he turned his attention to the water magic he just learned, if he can create a blob of water then he should be able to fill a bath, or maybe even a pool

so he pointed at the water with his palms and poured more Mana into it, trying to increase it quantity, it did work but the water was just flowing everywhere, it couldn't be used for a bath like that

At this point, the mask decided to give him a quick advice as an apology "you know... you've already mastered wind and fire magic, and you've just learned water magic to, The next step should be Earth magic, no? I mean.. you can use it to create a bathtub out of stone, you know"

"You're right! I should learn Earth magic! but, how should I go with that? Hmm, Earth is everywhere, so maybe I should try to move it using my Mana?"

Alpha put his hands on the floor, then poured Mana into it, and guided it underground to form a disk

Then he imagined the piece of Rock inside the disc flying up and disconnecting from the floor

It works perfectly, so he continued on imagining it being cut into many identical pieces, then he arranged them alongside the edge of the hole he just created

he was really excited to jump in it and fill it with water then take a bath, but the surface of that hole was just to rough ,it would be uncomfortable to sit in it, and he wouldn't be able to relax

so, he used the flamethrower on it, and slightly melted the surface, that was enough to smooth it out

Next he really wanted to pour water in it , but if he did, the smooth surface he just fixed will crack because of the sudden change in heat

he can either wait for it to cool down or he can pure hot water on it, you can guess what he chose.
