As I sat upon the roof of Danville's many buildings, I pondered to myself. Is this all I am going to do for the rest of my life? I hope not. I can't keep doing this same gig alone, it's too exhausting.

My bracelet started to flash. Crime Alert. I tapped the top and Anida Cruz's face popped up in a hologram.

"Latest News: A run away train was stopped by our very own hero; Ryder." I sighed. Yep. I did it...on my own..once again. "But in the latest events, it's seems as though we have a mysterious villain attacking the City Hall." I closed out of the news.

"Here we go.." I sighed to myself. A partner. A partner is what I need.

"HELP ME, RYDER!" I heard a young girl screaming.

"I'm here. Don't you worry, I'll protect you." I smiled at her. She couldn't have been more than 5 years old and she already had so much fear in her eyes. I dropped her off at a safe zone and turned back at the danger.

"AHAHA, you really think you can stop me, Ryder~". There was a evil taunting in his voice. I gritted my teeth.

"I don't think, I know. All your evil buddies have been terminated by me. What makes you think you're any different?" I grabbed my staff from the hook on the back of my suit.

"I don't think I'm different. I know." The villain grinned. There was a pause before he said,

"It's seems to me that's you're very lonely.." I stood up shocked at his words.

"BINGO." The villain laughed. "Well that's okay, you know. Not everyone gets a person. And you can't help it if your lonely forever."

"Shut up." I growled. The villain only laughed.

"Think about it, you do everything alone. You fight alone, you win alone. You probably live alone and you will die alone." I looked at my feet.

"No I won't...."

"Too Late." I looked back up again and the villain had lunged at me.

"Too think! ME, Breaker, found your weakness. Poor, little, lonely dog-boy."

"ITS A WOLF, YOU UGLY TROLL." I screamed and stuck my staff out to block his attack. He pushed down on my gear and I started to lose grip.

"You're going down. Alone." I could see a devilish smile appearing.

"He's not alone." A girl's voice went off behind me. I glanced back and that was my fault. Breaker took that falter and kicked my feet out from beneath me. Damn it. I looked at the girl again. She was wearing a suit similar to mine but she looked as though she was a angel. Her suit was white and had little green vines around her ankles and wrist.

"He's with me." Her focus was on Breaker.

"Is that so?" Breaker smirked, "If that's the case, what's your most fearful thought." Breaker closed his eyes as if he was in deep thought.

"RYDER NOW!" She yelled as her vines extended and wrapped around Breaker. I leaped at him and pulled his hands together. I slipped a pair of stun cuffs from my hidden pocket.

"NO THIS ISN'T THE END OF ME!" Breaker shouted. I clicked the button on my staff and a large blade came out of it.

"But it is." I whispered in his ear and then a clean cut through, and it was all over.

He groaned in pain and doubled over. Slowly closing his eyes. I turned back to the girl.

"You. Come with me." I leaped into the air and bolted. I glanced back and she was right behind me. I stopped when we were far enough to where no one could hear us.

"Who are you?" I asked with my back to her.

"No need to be so tough, puppy. I won't bite." She was smiling, "My name is Dalian." Her hand was extended. I glanced at it.

"Nice to meet you, Ryder. I am your new partner."

"What do you represent?" I asked, taking her hand.

"I represent a Dove." I took a long look at her. She was shorter than me, pale blue eyes, her hair was a white color, close to the color of her suit.

"Nice to meet you, Princess." I leaned over and kissed her hand.

"Haha, silly Puppy." Her necklace started to flash. "Oh how sad, I must be going now." She smiled and waved, "Soar High, Puppy." And she disappeared.

I tapped my bracelet and I felt my suit give out and my clothes reappear. I sighed as I made way to home. Once arriving I slipped in through my window and yawned.

That girl, Dalian. Dalian, what a unusual name. Still quite beautiful. And my eyes closed.
