Nervous

It was still dark inside the cave as Cecilia woke up. The fire had gone out.

Curtis opened his eyes as soon as Cecilia had moved.

"I am going to wash up." Cecilia said as she saw Curtis wide awake.

"Okay." Curtis said as he slowly sat.

Cecilia went toward the lake and washed her face when she wanted to brush with some branch of tooth cleaner she remember she had bathed in that water.

(A- When I went to a village I also tried it, we wash the small branch and chew it.)

' I should ask Curtis to dig some hole where we can bath and leave this water as it is and used it for other use and bucket too.' Cecilia said as she returned.

'Today is special I need to make sure I look extra beautiful.' Cecilia said as she was walking.

As she entered, she saw Curtis doing something to his skin.

" You are here. Come and change I will show you the outside today." Curtis said as he gave is skin, which has now turned into a long dress to Cecilia.

" Thank you. I will first wash up and wear it in the evening." Cecilia said as she was happy. She knew the shredded skin was important for him as it was only given to females they have accepted. She had a faint blush as she said she will wear it in the evening hinting to mate in the evening.

" Okay, I will take you outside there is a lake there. We will spend the whole day outside. So, take everything you need. " Curtis said with a smile on his face as he looked at Cecilia.

" Umm, okay."Cecilia said as she took the skin, a larger fur, a comb, and some fruits.

When they first came outside. Cecilia felt like she was a vampire as the sun burned her eyes.

After some time she finally adjusted. Curtis took her to a larger lake.

Cecilia laid the larger fur and sat on it. Curtis put down the thing he was carrying. Cecilia put the dress and comb together aside as she took the fruit. Curtis started to gather the branches and made fire.

He took some animal meat and slowly roasted it, careful not to burn it as well as his finger.

Cecilia was laying down, basking in the sun. She had cut the fruits as she put them in shades waiting for the meat to be cooked.

After a while, the meat was finally cooked. Curtis liked to eat it raw so he was swallowing the meat in the clean stone in front of Cecilia. The meat was cut into small pieces so that it could be easier for Cecilia to eat them.

Cecilia wanted to cry as she sprinkled some salt on the meat and some lemon juice. She was eating meat without salt all this time or any other spices and yesterday Curtis bought some salt she felt like he had bought her a diamond ring or maybe she felt more happiness than she could if he had bought it for her.

She enjoyed her food and felt it was the most delicious thing in the world.

Their day was pretty normal for them as they lazed around with nothing on their mind.

Cecilia bathed as the sun was highest and the hottest because she couldn't be able to at another time. She used to bathe in warm water even in summer only with cold after it was very hot.

She wore the dress and it fitted her making her wonder how Curtis knew her size.

She showed the dress to Curtis he was dazed at first, then he praised her for her being beautiful.

The evening came and Cecilia's heart accelerated with it.

Curtis and Cecilia packed up and went toward their cave.

Curtis started the fire as he roasted some eggs. When Curtis and Cecilia were walking they found the small bird's nest and took the egg luckily the birds were also there so they took them together.

Cecilia was sticking some branches in the soil to make a square place for the birds.

Cecilia decided to do it to distract herself and it worked.

The food was ready and Curtis and Cecilia were sitting and eating. Cecilia's nervousness which had been gone had returned.

After eating Curtis sat on their bed as she didn't know what to do.

"I am not from here. I want to let you know that before we are bounded forever." Cecilia said. She told about everything. There was silence for a while.

"I suspected you were different the way you act the fur and everything.I don't care." Curtis said as he slowly held her hands softly.

Cecilia felt more secure about how he reacted and said. Then again, she was attacked by her nervousness, but she had a determined eye.
