My Oxygen
Jake had arrived over thirty minutes ago but had stayed out of view when he saw her car. He had been waiting to see how long she was willing to wait before deciding to leave, but after watching for some time, he became impatient and decided to just talk to her and put them both out of their misery.
Seeing that she was with Charlotte sort of relieved him since Charlotte's presence was just what he needed to keep himself from kissing her or letting his emotions and feelings for her get the best of him.
He pretended not to see them and headed for his door until Haewon called out to him.
"Jake!" Haewon called, and he turned to look at her with a faux delighted, surprised expression.
"Hey!" He greeted cheerfully as though he had not been avoiding her.
"Hey? Hey?" Haewon asked angrily, but Charlotte grabbed her hand to calm her, especially since they were still outside.
