A drunk? Could be worse.

*2 weeks after test*

"[Is everyone where they should be?]" Kakashi asked through an ear piece.

"[Five meters from the target.]" Naruto responded.

"[Eight meters.]" Sasuke followed.

"Ten meters." Suki told.

'Isn't this a bit much for the situation?' She couldn't help but think.

"[Alright, go!]"

The three of them quickly closed the distance before Naruto grabbed the target.

"[Does the target have the ribbon?]"

The target in question, was an old cat. It looked to be at least 18 years old minimum.

"Confirmed." Sasuke told, not caring that the cat had started to scratch Naruto's face.

"Give them here." Suki told before he did so. "Can you calm down for me Tora?"

Tora's response: latch claws into her.

Gaining a tick mark, she breathed in and out.

"Fine, you wanna be rough?"

"Ah, Suki?" Naruto asked.

"Then you'll be treated that way." Suki then grabbed Tora's front legs and back legs. "There, you can't claw me anymore."

Tora glared at her before opening her mouth.

"Don't you dare." Suki warned.

Tora dared. They tried to bite her, only for Suki to pull Tora's legs closer together, preventing them from achieving their goal.

"Sasuke, can you radio Kakashi and tell him that we have Tora under control?" She asked.

He nodded before doing so.

A few seconds went by before Kakashi joined them.

"Good job. Now we just need to return him to his owner." He told.

They made their way towards the Hokage Tower since that is where Ninjas go to pick up missions.

They were about halfway there when Suki brought a conversation she should have a while ago.

"How are you two on water walking technique?"

"We're doing better, but I still fall through more times than not when sparring." Naruto stated.

"While I stay on the water more times than not, my reserves still need work to allow myself to fight on water without thinking about it." Sasuke told.

Suki nodded. "Naruto, your issue makes since. You've always have had a large amount of chakra so that will make it hard for you to get fine control. Just keep practicing and you should be able to do that soon."

She then turned towards Sasuke. "If your problem lies with the amount you have, you need to train your body more. Since chakra is a mix between spiritual and physical energy, you may be lacking in physical energy if your control is fine."

"Well, does that mean that all three of my Genin already know the Tree Climbing Technique?" Kakashi asked.

"Yeah. Suki here learned it years ago and we followed suit. According to Suki, all three of us have mastered the technique." Naruto explained.

"Hm. I'll have to have the team work on water walking then." He thought aloud.

"Suki's done that too and, as stated earlier, so have we." Sasuke told.

Kakashi looked at her. "Really? That does explain why your chakra control is higher than most Genin and some Chunin."

"Yeah, but I'm trying to refine it even more." She told.

"How come?"

Shifting her arms to keep a strong hold on Tora, she answered. "The better my chakra control, the better my techniques will be. I can control the intensity of my flames better, boost the sharpness of my wind techniques, and control how much lightning chakra I need to put into my lightning techniques."

"I'm still surprised that you have three natures already." Kakashi mentioned.

Most people can only practice the element(s) they were born with. They could later train to gain more except the element that directly opposes with their elements. Example, say someone mastered the fire chakra they were born with. They could learn how to do a water jutsu, just that at their strongest, it would likely be comparable to a Chunin. They can learn it, but it would likely not be worth it.

"While true, wind is my weakest category with fire being my strongest with lightning being just behind." She told.

"So, what do you focus on? Speed, strength, stealth?" He asked.

Before she could answer, two others already did.

"Speed."

Kakashi seemed to nonverbally ask how did they know.

"We've seen Suki train before, we've seen her training regiment, and she's told us multiple times herself. She's focused on her speed but isn't letting her strength fall behind." Sasuke explained.

"Oh? Do you two follow the same training regiment?"

"No." Naruto shivered. "We tried for about two weeks. Absolute lunatics the three of them."

"Besides," Sasuke picked up. "Her training regiment is more focused on taijutsu while Naruto and I will likely specialize in Ninjutsu. While helpful, it isn't what we're looking for."

"I've been pseudo-training them?" She seemed to ask/say. "While I'm not their teacher in anything, they usually come to me when they want to know if there is anything that I could suggest they do for training."

"Oh? What have you suggested?"

"For Taijutsu, just to do what they usually do but increase the amount every few days until they get stuck. For Ninjutsu, I usually have them perform whatever jutsu they are trying and I see their chakra with my Sharingan to see how much they are wasting. If very little, I suggest to just keep practicing the technique. If a lot, I advise them to continue practicing their chakra control."

She looked at Naruto. "That doesn't work for him, so I tell him to do the jutsu with his clones."

"Why's that?" Kakashi asked.

"The Shadow Clone technique sends back whatever the clone experienced back to the user. Since Naruto has a large amount, he can exploit it to help him train. While I can only make up to 9 before it starts to impact my training." She explained.

Kakashi nodded.

"How much longer are we going to need to do these D-ranks Kakashi-sensei?" Suki asked.

The village divided missions given to their ninjas through several ranks.

Rank D-missions are comparable to chores and services. Someone may issue one to help them farm, get their groceries, or...find a missing cat. There is next to no chance of harm and are expected to take no more than a few hours to complete. These are usually given to Fresh Genin unless used as punishment or other reason.

Rank C-missions are when clients come from out of the village. While they vary often, they come with their own side of what is to be expected. These missions state that the client at most expects bandits to confront the team given to them. These can be expected to last up to a month. These usually go to experienced Genin or Chunin.

Anything above that, gets hairy.

Rank B-missions are when clients are expecting to be attack by Chunin or lower ninjas. These missions are typically given to experienced Chunin or Jounin and can last up to 3 months.

Rank A-missions are when they expect to be attacked by experienced ninjas. The rank of Jounin ninjas are typically seen as opponents on these missions. Jounin can be assigned these missions and may be on the mission for up to 6 months.

Finally, the most dangerous mission classification. Rank S-missions. These are extremely rare due to the fact that they are extremely costly and typically have teams of Jounin or higher as the opponents. The risk of death is 85-95% for anyone Jounin, and 100% under. These are usually given to ANBU, the Hokage themselves, or teams of Jounin. These can take years to complete depending on the missions.

"Hmmm." He seemed to think. "Well, you guys have completed 20 D-ranks, the minimum amount needed to take a C-rank as long as I agree that you are able to do so."

"Can we!?" Naruto exclaimed. "All of us know that we can do one right?"

"Of course we can." Sasuke commented.

"Well?" Suki asked.

"Well, sure. I think you've had enough training and experience with missions to allow a C-rank." Kakashi stated.

With that, they arrived at the Hokage Tower before handing Tora over to the lady.

'I kind of feel sorry for the cat.' Suki thought, watching as the owner basically almost squeezed the life out of him.

"Alright, with that done, Team 7 has completed the Tora Retrieval mission." Sarutobi stated.

"I'd like to recommend my team for their first C-rank mission."

"Well, we do have one that came in a few days ago." He turned towards a ninja. "Send him in would you?"

A few seconds passed before the door opened.

"Them? They look like a bunch of brats."

The client was a grey-haired man with glasses, had a large beard and dark eyes. He wore a sleeveless shirt, plaid styled pants, and sandals. He also had a bottle of sake in one of his hands.

"You shouldn't need more than us right?" Suki asked. "That's at least what the mission says."

"Y-yes. That's right." He then looked to the side and grumbled something the trio couldn't make out.

"Alright, Team 7. We'll meet up at the gates in 15 minutes. Gather whatever you believe you will need for the trip."

"Hai." The trio announced before disappearing, heading to their homes to gather supplies.

Suki arrived at her apartment and gathered supplies before grabbing her sword.

As strange as it would seem, it seemed that the person who sold the sword to her and her father didn't realize that the katana was actually a long Wakizashi, a blade longer than a tanto but shorter than an average katana.

The difference is that most Katanas need to use two hands for the maximum amount of cutting force, while Wakizashis can be used one handedly.

She activated its seal before it poofed before an engraving with the word 'sword' appeared on her palm.

She looked at the only picture she had of her and her dad.

'I'm getting a very bad feeling about this mission.'

She then left with her supplies in seals she had bought.

-----------------------------------

Thus begins their first C-rank mission. What could come from this feeling from Suki?

If Sasuke or Naruto seem to be too powerful at the moment, remember that they have known Suki, a training maniac for several years. They would not want to be left behind and would train harder than they would have normally.

Suki hasn't forgotten what is supposed to happen, but still gets a bad feeling.
