7 The 6 short backstory

Ahh that felt great. This bed is like heaven after monarch's cockpit.

{You only have one apointment at 1700 in the training room. You scheduled a match with someone yesterday.}

"Anything else?"

{None sir.}

I strech myself a little bit and get up to dress. "So wanna tell me what are those People inside the tubes who look exacly like me?"

{They are your backup bodies captain. In case you die by unnatural causes, your mind will be transferred to the next body in line. They are geneticly engineered so that you can get peak human performance.}

"You say unnatural causes, what happens if its Natural?"

{You dont need to worry about that Captain. Everybody in this ship including you have been injected with type 1 immortality serum. They will live as long as they dont get killed by someone or something.}

"By the way you said my body will be transferred. But what about my soul?"

{Data on this subject is not sufficent to answer your question Captain. The answer is Unknown.}

Hey system. Want to answer me?

[Affirmative. Your soul will be transferred too.]

Thank god. I dont want a body that thinks it still has soul with my memories while the actual me watch from heaven like its a movie. Wait. What if the system is lying to me to cause me to think my soul didnt already left?

[Negative. Lying to you about this problem would be counter productive and would go againts the protocol.]

I guess I dont have any choise but to believe you.

"By the way monarch. Can you use the empty pod to make more soldiers?"

{Affirmative. But they wont be type 1 immortal because we are out of stock.}

"Can we make more of the serums?"

{Negative. The Serum was already in the ship when we are transported. Any knowledge on it is non-existant. Doctor tried to recreate it taking small samples but he failed.}

[Buying the serum from the system shop is possible.]

Holly molly! I guess immortality is that important huh. Well, I know some people would even sacrifice the galaxy for it. After dressing up, I make my way to the bridge. While going there, I open the folder Monarch sent me yeterday. Just the file of important People in this ship.

Adam walker

Age : 36

Titan : Legion

Former Marine. After losing his country he was sold as a slave. Learning about titans, he made one for himself from scrap metal with the help of the others and escaped slavery. However he lost an arm during the procces and wears an mechanical arm to replace it. After escaping, he joined a mercenery group but was KIA when their client betrayed them for money.

Kairi Imahara (Valkyrie)

Age : 34

Titan : Northstar

The daughter of Apex Predator pilot Viper. After the disappearance of her father, she took the designs of her father's titan and made it smaller to human use. She later joined Apex games to "test her skills" but was killed by a pilot who was claiming to be from 6-4. These claims are yet to be confirmed as 6-4 was already disbanded long before her becoming a legend.

Howard Armstrong

Age : 37

Titan : Scorch

Was an ordinary woodcutter in the planet midas. Two unknown factions decided to fight for it right on top of the planet. The falling derbis from the massive war caused his city to be burried under rocks. After losing his family, Friends and home, he set out to get revenge on those factions. After rampaging through the battle field with an stolen titan, he reached the leader of the attacking faction but was finally put down. Deciding to not let go of the chance, he activated the nukes inside his titan and took out most of the important People of the enemy faction.

Emily Campbell

Age : 18?

Titan : Ion

Grew up in the slums and stole things for living. After an unknown person took her under her wings, she learned how to hack into any system in the universe. She has so many idenities that even she is claiming that she doesnt remember all of them. Some years later, she stole something she shouldn't. She was hunted down and killed after being raped and brutally tortured.

Important note: |Was given a different body to make her overcome her trauma|

Rey Ashikaga

Age : 28

Titan : Ronin

Growing up in a family who served Imahara family, she followed her idol to the Apex games after being taught everything about combat to protect her mistress. While protecting Kairi Imahara (Valkyrie) from a group with dozen titans who claimed were from the goverment, she died after gaining enough time for her mistress to escape.

Neith Athena

Age : 25

Titan : Monarch

Coming from a wealthy family, she showed succes in everything she did. Yet that was not enough to be the family head acording to her father, so she was betrothed to a royalty for political marriage. She was okay with her destiny untill Discovering that royal was known to just torture his wifes till death. She escaped her home and joined the military. After becoming lieutenant, she was sent on a top secret mission at least she thought so. She was ambushed by a whole batallion and was captured. There she learned that someone inside the goverment sold her for money. Deciding that dying is better than being raped or tortured, she bit her own tounge and bleed to death in the prison Cell she was held in. He body was later found and quickly disposed of due to it "dirtying the floor".

Hmm. I guess everybody has their own story. I guess I will read others when I have time. Oh I have already reached the bridge. The door opens automaticly and I get in.

"Good morning Captain."

"Good morning. How is the landing place going?"

"Its going acording the schedule. We should be able to land after 12 hours."

"Great. Any problem with the ship?"

"No sir. And I must say, the 'special' team is doing a very good job at cleaning the ship."

"They better be. Or they are going to get a worse punishment."

"Sir with all due respect, may I ask why you didnt you include me with them?"

"Well, you neither had an annoying expression or didnt act as a douche. I even spit on your face but shrugged it of like its nothing. So I guess I dont feel angry at you."

He smiles a little bit then quickly hides it but I am fast enough to notice it.
