The Death's Skill and Bloodline Purification

Chapter 5: The Death's Skill and Bloodline Purification

The Soul Collector was satisfied with everything that had happened here.

He let out a few rare moans after savoring the Blue Icewing's soul, but he left a little so that he could make her have fun with Ice Venerable who was somewhere within his domain.

It was a mystery that Vis couldn't even learn about, but what was his current situation?

It was one big if! He didn't know what his next step would be. Would he still be human? Or maybe he was the next meal of the Soul Collector?

He just stood at the dried blue lake's bottom and kept his eyes at the Soul Collector whose appearance was exposed right now.

This existence was a black skeleton with greenish eyes. He wore deathly robes that were torn in a few places with one big gap that was around his torso. It seemed like he liked to have his torso exposed…

One of his hands held a loud scythe while the other held a book that had been flapping nonstop ever since it appeared.

"Vis… is your name." The screeching voice called out to him!

Vis tensed and immediately answered while bowing, " I am Vis, Your Excellency." His utmost wish was to survive through this.

His ability or strength didn't matter at all before this existence.

"You have two souls in one tangle. I have seen such things before, but one part of your soul comes from a different timeline. This timeline is the one that operates this body, it's the base." The Soul Collector laughed, his eyes looking at the small man with excitement. One could think that he was looking at a good toy.

He continued then, "Time… is my mortal enemy. Unlike all other elements, time is my greatest counter and enemy that can scheme against me."

Did it mean that Vis was dead?

He thought so, but The Soul Collector raised his skeleton hand, "Become my servant." The offer popped out of nowhere so suddenly that Vis just looked at the skeleton with blinking eyes.

He then immediately bowed, "I am in your care, Your Excellency!"

This offer couldn't be denied if Vis wanted to survive! And it was very much his priority so no matter what it was, Vis decided to accept it immediately. His fast reaction made the skeleton's jaw clack and his laughter felt a little genuine.

"Accept death and be reborn." The Soul Collector sent his chains at the new servant, then death filled Vis' body. He felt an indescribable pain coursing through him, but no sound came out of his mouth.

His body then turned into a pure black skeleton with silver orbs in eye sockets.

Not feeling anything other than the new death energy, Vis just did his utmost best to remember this feeling.

His goal was to become a strong person with his own conscience. He would become the second Soul Collector if needed! Every moment of this ceremony got deeply etched within his heart.

And there was no part of Vis that was disgusted by that.

If he were to meet the person or existence behind his transmigration, then he himself would gladly punch that asshole for bringing him here.

His life had been so great… He worked so hard and yet he got forced to begin everything in an even more twisted world?

Now that he got the new deathly power, Vis swore to rise and enjoy the world.

Soon enough, the streaks of flesh began to weave around the bones and Vis's healthy body returned to the world.

"I kept your Titan God's bloodline. It will be another power at your disposal." The Soul Collector commented.

"Understood, Your Excellency." Vis promptly replied.

The Skeleton then mentioned about Bloodline Purification.

It was a concept related to the black bones that Vis was now the possessor of. Those bones were constantly purifying Vis' bloodline which was a pleasant thing to hear. The bloodline was also purified heavily so that Vis could begin the new path!

"Now, onto your ability." The Soul Collector pointed at the pile of bones. His finger slightly bent and the bones immediately rumbled, then formed the Blue Icewing's perfect skeleton!

Looking at this skeleton, Vis gulped and waited for more information, "You have an inborn ability called Titan God's Army. In this case, you will get an 'Undead Army' ability from me."

Vis' mind shook and he began to learn new stuff and prerequisites needed for each ability to be used.

It lasted for less than five seconds, "What's my task, Your Excellency?"

"There are pests scattered around the world called Necromancers." Soul Collector didn't sound annoyed by those people.

Even he had enemies meaning he couldn't get bothered by such mortals who naively tried to go against him.

He added, "I reward those who hunt servants of my enemies." It seemed like Necromancers were the most bothersome enemies for Soul Collector as Vis believed that not only they dare to oppose Soul Collector.

But this just confirmed something.

Even such existence as Soul Collector had enemies and matters to struggle at the top.

Despite becoming his servant, Vis knew that the strength ladder was high and arduous to climb on!

"I will take down every necromancer and everyone related to them," Vis swore, bowed, and finally got assaulted by the skeleton's laughter.

He got permission to raise his eyes and one of the rewards slowly made its way towards Vis.

It was a black book that shrunk upon skin contact. A green chain then escaped from its content and wrapped around Vis' wrist on his right hand. The small book was one of the treasures that could store 'Undead Army'.

"This Blue Icewing's skeleton is my last present for you." Soul Collector's robes already began to dance. It began to gather at one point and his skeleton bones also crumpled up into the small ball that dispersed with last words, "Rise and let me find the existence behind a different timeline! Kekeke!"

Left alone in the dried blue lake, Vis exhaled deeply, "I will rise. Definitely." His peak strength was unknown, but Vis was eager to break through any limits and make even the Soul Collector treat him with respect.

For now, he was the servant who had to keep his head low.
