Chapter 41: Dullahan Nightmare
In one of the castles deep underground, Headless Circle had been gathered to discuss their plans and new members. Their castle was big and territories spanned over many thousand kilometers, so no one had to pay attention to their voices.
"Miku is my name." The white-haired lady pointed her finger at the 'mummy'. "This is my servant."
This servant was none other than Vis.
The man decided to cover himself like a mummy which was another type of undead. From top to bottom, bandages covered Vis leaving his eyes open to the world. However, in a normal mummy's case, those eyes would be also covered.
To hide that, Vis just put robes on himself and a hoodie yet again covered his face.
Other dullahans didn't pay any heed to him and just kept their attention to Miku. Her former race played a deep role in the undead life as former characteristics were still a weapon! This got easily cleared as Miku said, "I abandoned my former race and became dullahan per His Grace." Since Miku had displayed her ears and a little of her Lula Clan abilities, the dullahans realized a lot of potential in this woman.
She also had a clear-headed mind, so how could she be someone else's creation or just a mere undead?
All of them tried to become closer with Miku and get her on their side.
As Lula Clan was established, no one asked whether His Grace was truly behind her metamorphose. Because such clan members wouldn't become undead unless they had a deeper reason!
Behind, Vis ordered Miku to just become closer with a few dullahans, learn about them and their principles.
He had his mind running nonstop, 'I promised to take care of all necromancers… So how am I going to get rid of all of them? The Whole Underground can not be destroyed just by me alone... Even if I become stronger… The goal is to get a proper backer here and learn about Sedis' plans through other zombies…'
Vis' eyes continued to search for an appropriate dullahan. What he needed was not the devoted dullahan, but someone who would be egotistical and short-sighted. Of course, even though he knew who would be the best backer, Vis couldn't possibly just find them through his eyes alone.
He had to become closer with them through Miku and see them in action…
'The Dullahan's first job shouldn't take a long time… Let's try it…'

"Nightmare…" What was the nightmare? For many, it was the past coming back at them through dreams. A past emphasized through limitless imagination within the dream!
But a poor horse clansman was about to experience his worst nightmare that took the living form.
For many years, the dullahans became even worse than calamity and their actions became known as 'Dullahan Nightmare'.
Horse clansmen were known as Centaurs. They never had any god within their race nor an empire behind them. They were a tribe that used to inhabit grasslands to keep living in this world.
However, this particular race became one of the best mounts for dullahans.
To take proper control over them, dullahans often visited those at night and sowed fear within their hearts just by appearing.
This time, there was just one dullahan with black armor and headless mount, but looking at this mounts' build, the centaur knew that it was one of his clansmen.
Tears welled up in its human eyes, then the horse part stomped on the ground heavily. With a loud neigh, the centaur began to escape.
"I must escape… Hid in my house!" The horse knew what would become his safety room soon, but not even half a minute passed before an even louder neigh rang out in his eyes.
Though there was no head on that mount, it was louder! Even when the dullahan passed through the centaur, its speed nearly burst out his ears. It was like a rocket passed through him just now!
Looking at that undead monster coming with earthquakes towards his tribe, the centaur's eyes grew pitiful. He knew that shouting would be impossible with this fast monster and he soon dropped onto his knees.
An army of dullahans then passed through him.
Their bodies were humanoid and their clothes mostly beautiful. The dullahan race was in a way, a very exquisite class after all.
But their heads were nowhere to be seen and the oozing out streaks shook the centaur's vision with fear.
He soon fell unconscious, then his whole tribe got raided over by those dullahans!
A certain mummy approached the unconscious horse, "What would happen if you became the dullahan?"
This question became a dream within the centaur's mind.
It was not a nightmare, but a dream.
A dream that was still filled with killing intent and revenge for what those dullahans had been doing them so far.
Vis smiled faintly, then his hands let go of the man's forehead.
He turned at the raided tribe and said, "Now… Who will make a show here? I hope for something to happen. Otherwise, I will need to waste too much time with you, dullahans…"
