Talkative Clinton

Eric's POV 

''What's a mate.'' she asked again, 

''It's nothing, it's just a name will call our girlfriends or lovers.'' I replied quickly

She nodded her head and took a sip of her drink.

''Really?'' Clinton asked through telepath

''She is being marked, how come she doesn't know who you are.'' he asked through telepath.

''Can you shut up and let's work on this deal.'' I handed another file for him to read through.

He kept the file back on the table, and moved his gaze to Victoria.

''Forgive my manners, my name is Clinton.'' he brought forth his hand to Victoria, which she took.

''I'm Victoria, nice meeting you.'' she flashed him a big smile which I hated.

''I've been friends With Eric since our university days.'' he muttered out happily.

Hearing those words from him, I grumbled softly and gave him an angry gaze.

''Can you just stop talking.'' I said those words in anger through telepath.

He ignored me and kept on taking to victoria.

''We shared an apartment together while in school, although he wanted to live alone, but his dad refused and asked me to share his apartment with him.''

''Wow, I thought you guys are just business associates, I never knew you guys were friends.'' Victoria exclaimed in shock.

''You never told me We were coming to see your friend.'' she muttered those words to me,

I sighed softly and took another sip of my drink.

''Let's go back to work.'' I said those words to Clinton and kept another file in front him.

''She is beautiful.''he said those words through telepath

I groaned angrily and moved my gaze to him with a piercing look.

''Calm down.'' he said through telepath with a big grin on his face.

''I need to visit the restroom.'' Victoria whispered into my ear, 

I looked around and saw a door which indicated it was a restroom.

''Go over there.'' I pointed the door of the restroom to her 

''I'll be back.'' she flashed a big smile to Clinton before leaving

''She is polite, and a nice girl, the moon goddess must really love you to give you such an outstanding mate''. Clinton spoke up the moment Victoria Left.

I heard him but decided to ignore him, he has always been a talkative since university days.

''But I don't get why you are hiding your identity from her.'' he asked curiously

''Can you at least shut up for at least a moment and let's work, I have other things to work on.'' I muttered out angrily

HE released an heavy sigh before taking the file in front of him.

''I don't see why you needed me to come, this could be done over the phone.'' I spoke up while closing the file

''I just wanted to see my an old friend again.''

I rolled my eyes and stared at the direction of the restroom.

''Calm down, no one is taking her away from you.''he mocked 

I groaned softly and moved my gaze to him

''You don't know a thing.'' I groaned angrily and moved my gaze back to the restroom.

Victoria was taking too long and I don't like it.
