Chapter II
September 25, 1467 CT
The Timetable Knights. Well known throughout Europe for being the guardians of the people. With their tower shields and sabers, they protect towns and cities from oncoming threats. Loyal and stoic, these knights in shining armor put their lives on the line for the integrity and livelihood of the people.
The O'Clock Soldiers. Renown for their more outgoing nature. Rather than being confined alongside civilians, these fighters prefer combat on the outmost limits of any township. Though they carry a cutlass, all of Europe knows them by there rifles. Ruthless and unorthodox, they fight the threat head on.
These two exist...but what threat faces Europe?
Well, miles from Sormest are two O'Clock Soldiers, eagerly yet patiently awaiting for some action. These two are the siblings Cain and Ava Evans. This brother and sister pair has gained a reputation amongst their peers...of which I can assure is cause for concern.
Cain calls out to Ava, "Nothing. As usual. Well, even though the sun is out, the day is quite cool. Hmmm...".
"Cain, stop. Last time you drummed up an idea out of boredom, we were demoted".
"Look, 'that' incident at the palace was not my fault. How was I suppose to know that a Chrono Gear can would react so violently?"
"I have to admit that I had fun. The only downside was being stationed near Sormest. Chrono Gears never come around that often".
"Well...I get the feeling that something exciting will happen soon".
"Let's hope so".
The Chrono Gears. The scourge of the world. A menace to all of humanity. The diabolical result of the Chronological Puppets. These machines of mayhem can range from being at human height to being colossal. Their temporal abilities have caused nothing but trouble ever since. With the aid of the Timetable Knights and the O'Clock Soldiers, humanities future is, by far, stable. But, in recent years, these lifeless devices had grown more erratic. More violent. More...malicious. With the increase in knights and soldiers, people all over Europe live in fear.
"Well, you know, baby sister, it'll be much easier if we can kill the Chronological Puppets and get this over with".
"Right. I'll do that after the great Time Keepers make their debut as the heroes the world needs".
