Ch 88: No Discreet

At the lobby's front doors, Duncan and a few other guardians that were in Mr. Collin's clan unlocked the doors for Kai and his friends. Mr. Collin's guardians didn't bother to question Kai and his clan on their whereabouts. The guardians knew the group of vampires was going out to hunt for prey. The only thing the guardians did was lock up behind them.

Once Kai and his friends stepped out on the sidewalk. Then they left up the block to locate some easy prey. It didn't take long for them to identify seven fresh blood women coming outside at this nearby bar. Most of the vampires went inside the bar while Kai strayed back with Ace, Rome, Ivan, Jack, and two others.

"Hello, ladies," Rome smoothly grabbed their attention. They beamed seeing these gorgeous men.

"I'm my gosh, it's Kai Collin!' One of the ladies said, thrillingly.

"Yes," Kai replied as he performed it like he was walking past her uninterested. Meanwhile, that was far from the case.

She looked around at his friends and then asked flirting with him. "Did you already get bored with your wife?"

"Indeed, would you care to entertain me?" Kai flirted but his flirt came with a hidden agenda.

Even though she swears to see him eyeing her body. It was far from the fact of what he was really doing. His wandering eyes were estimating how full he'd get from her because she was so thin and malnourished.

"My apartment isn't far from here." She offered and batted her lashes to flirt. "If you would like to take a walk with me. I'd love to have you over."

While his friends were flattering the other ladies into a conniving deception. Kai grinned cunningly. Indeed, getting prey was getting far too easily. Quite frankly, he was deeply revolted at how effortless this was. There was hardly a challenge for him or his friends.

"How about we take a stroll?" Kai proposed since he figured feeding on her won't fill him up. Her breath reeked of alcohol and vomit. And she barely ate meat. She smelled more like a rotting vegetable, thought Kai. Her unappealing stench almost made him wanna withdraw from feeding on her. But Kai couldn't wait any longer. His untamed thirst was getting the best of him.

"Ok," she accepts with a flirty smile believing she'll get a night with Kai Collin. Just to be more flirty she hooked both hands on his one forearm. Blindly, she followed Kai into the dark alley but she didn't mind because her friends were following behind her.

Until unknowingly one at a time, they trailed aside to buildings between them.

Rome pushed the woman he had on the wall. He slammed his lips on her and broke her mouth open with his tongue. He bites down on her tongue beginning to feed. On the outside, the kiss has been dissimulated to look sexy.

That was far from the truth. From inside her mouth kept refilling with blood. Until Rome sucked it down his throat. She fought but he was far too strong and kept her up against the brick building. Each time he gulped, she drew weaker from the life being drunk out of her.

Ace did the same from the opposite building with the woman he deceived and shoved her back into the brick. She tried to kiss him but he moved his face and sunk his fangs into her neck. There wasn't any way he'd ever kiss another female besides Rose. Thought Ace when her blood filled his mouth. Before he quickly depleted the life out of her.

He wanted to be hasty since he knew his mate Rose and the offspring she carried were waiting for him to feed them too.

Sure Rose could drink blood elegantly from a glass. However, feeding from Ace would give her and the vamp baby the best and richest nutrients. Therefore to support himself, Rose, and their offspring. Ace has to be sure to feed triple times his regular feedings.

Meanwhile, just a few feet away. Ivan did the same near him with the lady he duped. He bites her instantly before she knows what hit her. That is until she felt pain from Ivan's fangs puncturing into her flesh on the neck side. Extremely painfully, he began to drain her since he honestly didn't care to use his numbing venom. He only wanted to drink that second and she was too weak to scream.

The other two remaining vampires and Jake did the selfsame. Quietly within the dark shadows, they fed without anybody disturbing them.

Unaware of what was going on with her six friends. The woman Kai trailed along was still beaming in her fantasy to get a night with him.

He pushed her up into the cold brick. Already she started to undo the belt on his pants. Kai snatched her wrists and hurled them up above her head. Thinking it was a game, she giggled. Until she makes eye contact with his gaze. All the fun and games ended when she saw his eyes were blood-red and illuminating with a creepy glow. She screamed to see his angelic face turned into a demonic monster. Kai hissed moderately loud as his jaw extended widely in a horrifying appearance. With all four fangs, he ripped out her jugular! Blood spewed and he drank while she screamed until her cry weakly dissipated. Before too long Kai discard his fangs and licked his freakishly long tongue around his mouth to lick up the leftover blood.

Then he turned to find his friends gawking in silence. Ivan sorta blinked at him with disbelief. He couldn't believe Kai maliciously killed her so brutally. Then again this is Kai, he thought. It shouldn't be such a surprise but then again. None of them were thinking Kai would kill her so loudly.

"What?" Kai asked like they shouldn't be stunned.

"So much for being discreet there, Kai." Ace tried not to laugh loudly.

Kai flipped the dead woman over his shoulder. "As if I care when I am ravenous!" he negligently said and waltzed right passed them with the dead woman's arms and head bobbing about as noticeable dead weight. "It's what she deserves for touching me!"

After they too picked up a dead woman they had fed on, Jack whimsically asked. "Where to now since Kai caused a scene here?" They laughed before zapping off at a rapid speed to clean up their mess by taking the bodies to the funeral home to be cremated. To avoid Mr. Collin from going off again. Afterward, they met up with others and continue their hunt to solely feed.
