Chapter 45: Human Form Weapon

"Very well, are you ready, Yukin?"

Listening to Tsugumi's voice emanating from the small robot, Funell, Yuki sighed in disappointment. He had requested all the information regarding the Apocalypse Virus but was let down with only general information. He suspected they were hiding something more, but he didn't press further. Yuki thought about visiting GHQ or waiting for his powers to return. Alternatively, he could trap Tsugumi in a honey trap to spill all the beans, but for now, he decided to wait.

Considering he hadn't revealed much about himself except his name and age, they didn't press him further. Yuki was pleased that at least they respected him for his abilities. As for what he was doing now, he was showcasing some of his powers.

It was partly a whim and also Yuki's style. He believed that even if they analyzed his Taijutsu, it would be like discovering the tip of the iceberg. Besides, he had another goal – if you want them to trust you, you first have to trust them. Yuki was poison, and he understood this point very well.

"Good." Nodding, Yuki thought it was a light morning exercise, nothing out of the ordinary in Konoha. He rolled his eyes, unaware of the shock they'd experience if they could analyze Guy's maximum speed or Tsunade's maximum strength.

As Yuki had said, it was just the tip of the iceberg, confirming there were no supernatural beings in this world.

"How was it?"

"Amazing!" Argos was thrilled. If possible, he wanted to do the same, but upon second thought, he stopped himself from speaking. He didn't know what this kid had faced to possess such absurd strength.

"And Yuki... how is it?" Approaching Yuki, Inori scanned his entire body with her eyes before starting to touch with her hands.

"It's okay... I'm fine." Yuki couldn't help but chuckle a bit; Inori was somewhat overprotective. Though Yuki didn't deny enjoying it.

"Although it's a bit late, congratulations to both of you."

Inori and Yuki looked at Argos with some confusion, tilting their heads.

Argos, seeing their expressions, was puzzled. "Are you a couple?"

"Who knows? What do you think, Inori?" Yuki amused himself with Argos's misunderstanding. True, his actions so far were not what regular friends did, more like intimate friends.

Inori, for example, had been acting a bit strange, but Yuki barely knew her, so he couldn't notice. However, Argos didn't miss it.

Gai categorized Yuki as a superhuman; he was very valuable. Also, there was the fact that he could push back the Apocalypse Virus; his blood alone could be the cure.

Thinking about this, Gai also had another issue that bothered him.

If he was a weapon, why did Inori know him?

Why did he appear now, when Inori had the Void Genoma?

How is it that he's still in this place without the agency or country that created him searching for him like crazy?

There were many questions to answer and too many mysteries.
