Chapter 36 [BONUS]

The crew has been traveling for several hours now, ever since they found out about Luffy's bounty. Luffy was sitting on his throne, watching over the crew as they were all doing their own thing.

Usopp stood to Luffy's right, cleaning one of the cannons on the deck. Nami and Nojiko were behind Luffy, relaxing on a beach chair.

Luffy then stood up from his throne and started walking towards the main deck.

"All of you, come here!" he shouted, causing the rest of the crew to stop what they were doing and walk towards Luffy to see what he wanted. Soon, Luffy was standing on the main deck with everyone around him.

"What's wrong, captain?" Sanji asked while holding a spoon in his hand. Luffy looked at each of them, then up at the sky, causing them all to do the same.

They all saw a thundercloud descending from the sky. Sanji and Zoro immediately recognized him as the cloud who had all the money they stole from the sea base.

"Before we start," said Luffy, getting all their attention as he walked towards Nami and placed his right hand on her shoulder, confusing everyone.

"I need to increase Nami's punishment," Luffy said before a rope made of electricity shot out of his wrist and tied Nami in place.

"AHH!" Nami screamed as the rope wrapped around her. "WHAT THE HELL, LUFFY?" She shouted or asked. Luffy chuckled evilly and then pushed Nami backwards, causing her to fall onto the throne as Luffy seemed to have followed her.

Nami tries to untie the knot but realizes it's impossible. He then tried to stand up but realized it was impossible. Apparently, the electricity binding her and the electricity on Luffy's throne connected to each other, effectively holding Nami's body in place.

"Luffy, is there a reason you tied up Nami?" Usopp asked with a curious expression on his face. Luffy turned away from Nami and faced Usopp before he answered.

"Yes, this," said Luffy before snapping his finger, causing the cloud to release everything stored within it. Everyone's eyes were as wide as dinner plates when they saw that cloud was actually scattering money and all kinds of treasures.

Nami looks like she is at the gates of heaven, but no matter how hard she tries to open the gates to heaven, they just won't open. All Nami could do was watch from afar.

"So this is why you tied up my sister," said Nojiko as he walked over to the large pile of treasures. "You're so mean, you know that captain?" she asked while looking at Luffy with a grin.

Luffy smirked at him before he started laughing. Luffy turned to check on Nami and saw her trying everything she could to untangle her.

"It's useless," said Luffy, getting the woman's attention. "It won't come off until I order it," he said, making Nami stop struggling and just look sadly at the other crew.

"Okay, listen up," said Luffy before walking to his captain's quarters and coming out with some big bags. "Put all the money in this bag," he said before throwing one of the bags at Sanji.

"After that, bring all the gold and other precious stones here and store them below decks," he said as he tossed the rest of the bag to Johnny, Yosaku, and Nojiko.

"We will deposit the money in one of the clouds and store it in the sky, where it is safe." "The rest of the treasure will be kept here in the ship," Luffy said as he got a nod from all of them. Luffy then turned toward Sanji and spoke.

"Sanji, we are still a few days away before we arrive in Louge Town. "I need you to check the supplies for the kitchen and make a list of everything you will need for the kitchen," Luffy said, getting a nod from Sanji.

"Okay, you all hurry up and put these items away so I can start your training!" Luffy shouted, confusing them all.

"Ummm, Luffy," said Nami from behind Luffy. "What kind of training?" he asked.

"Practice your haki," said Luffy before he walked over to Nami and leaned on her throne.

"And what is Haki, big brother Luffy?" Johnny asked with a confused look on his face, along with Yosaku. Luffy just sighed before he spoke.

"I'll explain all of that when you all are done," he said before summoning a new cloud for him to sit on as he watched the rest of the crew rush over to deposit all the treasure.

It took about 45 minutes for them to put it all away, but once they had done it all, there was a big bag of money.

"All done, Captain!" Usopp, Johnny, and Yosaku said as they stood lined up in a straight line while saluting Luffy. Luffy shook his head in amusement before rising from the cloud.

As he stood up, the cloud he was sitting on moved closer to the throne that Nami was sitting on before merging with it and creating a larger cloud. He then snapped his fingers as he walked towards the bag, causing the rope holding Nami to disappear.

Nami immediately jumped to her feet and started running towards the large bag that Luffy had just grabbed. As he was inches away from reaching the bag, it suddenly disappeared along with Luffy, causing everyone's eyes to widen.

As they disappeared, Nami threw herself forward and landed on top of Sanji with Sanji's face buried in her chest, causing Sanji to turn into a rocket with a huge nosebleed.

When everyone turned to see where Luffy had gone, they all saw him standing in front of the throne with a bag in his hand. While Nami lifted herself up from the ground, Luffy picked up the bag and dropped it onto his cloud throne, causing the bag to disappear into the clouds.

"Good, now that we're all done, let's get started," he said as he sat on his throne.

"Before I teach you Haki I will first explain to all of you what haki is. "I already told Zoro about haki, so he knows the general idea of haki and what it does, but he doesn't know how to use it," said Luffy, getting a nod from Zoro.

Sanji, who had finally managed to control his nosebleed, walked beside Nojiko and spoke while stuffing a tissue in his nose.

"That old geezer once told me about haki," he said, surprising Luffy. "Well, to be more precise, he just said the name; he didn't really explain what it was," he said, causing Luffy to nod his head in a knowing way.

Luffy had heard rumors that Zeff had entered the New World once, but only for a short time because he found it too difficult to sail in the New World and returned to Paradise.

So he could understand how Zeff could find out about Haki. "He said it's a power that every pirate in the Grand Line has, and the power itself is a power that can rival that of devil fruit users," said Sanji, scaring Usopp, Nami, Johnny, and Yosaku.

Luffy laughed at their reactions.

"Not everyone in the Grand Line knows Haki," said Luffy, turning his attention away from Sanji. "Only people in the New World know about Haki." "The pirates in paradise don't really know about it," said Luffy.

"Umm, Luffy," Nojiko said, causing Luffy to look at her and ask, "New World?" Paradise? "What are you talking about?" Nojiko asked, making the rest of the crew nod their heads, letting Luffy know they didn't understand either.

"The Grand Line is divided into two parts; the first, which we will enter in about three days, is called Paradise, while the second is called New World," he said, looking at all of them.

"It's a common mistake people make to think that the Grand Line is just one long ocean, but in reality, the Grand Line has two parts separated by the Red Line," said Luffy as he grabbed his coat and took out a bottle of whiskey and a glass and started pouring himself a drink.

"Paradise?" Nami asked in a scared voice, which caused Luffy to grin. "I think we've all heard how scary it is about the Grand Line, and nothing in that story mentions paradise," said Nami, earning nods from Usopp and the bounty hunter duo.

Luffy smirked evilly, making the other crew members who saw Luffy's expression even more scared before he answered.

"The first part of the Grand Line is called Paradise because, when compared to the New World, the first part of the Grand Line is more like a paradise for pirates," Luffy said, causing his crew's eyes to widen. "But don't worry about that now." "I will make you all stronger when the time comes," he said, comforting them all.
