Chapter 56 - Mountain Park

When Huang Jin woke up the next morning, Xun Wei was ready to take them to a hike. So two adults, a child, and a dog went to a famous hiking spot on the boundary of A City.

The weather in the morning was good, so after breakfast, Xun Wei drags his family to the car and drive happily.

"You did wake me up" Huang Jin gave a dirty look to his very excited husband.

Seeing his lover pout, Xun Wei can only laugh and said, "I am, and it's a great day to go on a hike. I'll take you both to a good hiking spot. You take a nap, me and Ahbao will wake you up after we arrive." Xun Wei kissed Huang Jin's lips then continued driving.

Huang Jin can only sigh, he looked over to where is Ahbao and then kissed the little guy. The child giggled and smiled at his Papa's sleepy appearance. Then he leaned on the door of the car and tried to sleep more.

The drive was smooth; both Father and son were smiling and talking to each other in a quiet voice.

Xun Wei was not bored at all when driving. Before he met Huang Jin and Ahbao and became family, he still remembers that driving was the most hated thing he did. He always feels sleepy and bored, that's why when he goes out, and he always takes a taxi or a driver.

But then when he met Huang Jin, driving became a habit and a way to give more time to be with his lover.

He was far from the gloomy and iceman with no emotion that people describe him. He was lucky that day he went to his little brother's school to visit his friend. Xun Wei laughed and smiled at his son, "Yes, baby, it's good and happy thinking."

The child began to giggle as if something bright and clever was said.

Both of them jump from topic to another topic until they arrive in the mountain park. Xun Wei can feel the child's excitement the way he looks over the window, checking the scenery.

"Daddy, can I wake Papa now?"

"Later, baby, we can go out first and explore. Let's wait for Papa to wake up naturally."

"Okay," The child looked over to his where his Papa is sleeping. Before leaving, he turned his head to the dog and said, "Cray, you wait here and guard Papa," then went outside with his Daddy.

Xun Wei smiled at Ahbao's gentle concern to his other dad. He opened the other side of the door where Huang Jin is and place the dog beside him.

Naturally, Xun Wei conjured a barrier around Huang Jin and the dog. The power came to him after receiving his memories and triggered his blood. The dragon said to him that the barrier was a privilege to him and will only appear to him as a sign that he wholeheartedly accepted his lover as his partner for life.

The parking lot became noisy as the dog was barking, the girl's crying and the people on the parking lot shouting.

One of the personnel guarding the Mountain Park approached the noisy crowd. She bit her lips and said, "I- I wanted to wake you up seeing you fell asleep when I approached you your dog, all of a sudden, scared me and barked at me. I didn't mean to cry; I was just afraid." she said coquettishly.

Huang Jin was disgusted with the girl's voice, and his peach blossom eyes turned sharped while watching her.

"A girl like you knows how to lie, are you not ashamed?" She heard a husky and deep voice from behind and turned her head toward the person who talked. She saw a tall, handsome-looking man, with a god-like face, well-muscled with jet black long hair tied in a ponytail. The man was wearing black sweatpants and a T-shirt paired with hiking boots. He was carrying a child in his arms as he came close. His icy red eyes swept over her face and sneered.

She wanted to refute the man and act innocent, but she saw him move towards the young man and place the child on him and kissed his lips. It was unbelievable; watching him kissed the teen.

Then she saw the man turned around and look towards the crowd of people.

Xun Wei swept his eyes, and the people on the parking lot suddenly felt cold.

"Seeing the girl crying and saying she's being bullied by a dog, you people just decided to gang up and scold? Are you sure you wanted to help this girl?" Xun Wei squinted his eyes, watching and remembering the people who scolded and bullied his lover.

The people who were brushed by Xun Wei's eyes turned white from fear, and they can feel that any words that are going to come out from their mouth will make them regret their actions for the rest of their lives.

The girl saw the man focus his eyes on her, and the red pupils made her shiver. She wanted to talk but changed her mind.

H-he did not even hurt or bite you, but you just cried and complained that the dog b-b-bullied you." The child explains indignantly, mad from the way the evil girl did to the dog.

Huang Jin, who was called the beautiful man, his mouth twitched from the little boy's name on him. He helplessly smiled and reached Xun Wei's hand feeling his lover's amusement in his mind. He pinched his husband's hand and looked at the girl, still trying to convince the people of her lies.

"Don't slander me! He's just lying, don't believe whatever words spouting from the child's lips." The girl screamed and moved towards the child to stop him from speaking. Her friends wanted to stop her actions, but it was too late. She went near the child as her right hand tried to grab the little child's arms and shake him.

But she stopped after hearing the voice, "You don't need to deny, the child is telling the truth. If you want evidence, I can give it to you. Look over to your right, what do you see?" The red-eyed man asked.
