Chapter 11

After having completed everything he had to take care off regarding the things he would need to move out, Ace was ready to go. With everything in a large backpack he moved downstairs to tell Mio it was time to get going.

Getting on the living room he could see his aunt showing Mio and the other girls a picture book of what Ace can only assume are his pictures when he was a kid.

Feeling that he wasn't Emiya to walk into this hell Ace spoke up.

"Hey, I am going to the other house to put my stuff there." Ace said and Mio and the others waved him off. Mio and the others much more interested on the pictures right now, especially Mio who was having her mind taken away from darker thoughts regarding what she had recently been through.

Shrugging Ace moved to the door taking note that his cousin was beside Mio while seeing the pictures. That would be innocent enough if not for Isane looking at Mio's breasts every few seconds and the blood dripping down her nose.

She was seriously a pervert.

Thinking for a bit Ace decided to pull Isane with him to the other place. Partially because he wanted to know if anything happened on the day he was out and in a bigger part because he was quite sure Isane's presence would not help Mio's mental state right now. Isane was not a bad girl and would likely be able to help Mio quite a bit, but only if she knew what was going on with Mio. Until then Isane would be a detriment more than anything else, so taking her away would be for the best.

"Hey, what gives?" Isane said as Ace raised her by the scruff of the neck. Miki turned to him surprised and he spoke.

"I am taking her with me for a bit. Don't worry, I won't hurt her or anything. I just need to talk with her for a bit." Ace said and Miki nodded her head. As for Isane, her mind was already conjuring several fantasies over what Ace intended to do with her so she didn't even notice when he began pulling her away from there.

Maria, who was seeing this, gave out a large smirk and a wink at Ace who pretended not to see it. Mio, meanwhile, blushed a bit and refocused on the pictures in front of her.

Leaving the house he went to his new residence. Knocking on the door he looked over himself, this wasn't exactly the first image he would have liked to be the one seen by whoever else was sent to help in the protection of Mio, but Ace couldn't force himself to mind it overly much. If it was not for him having a date in a few hours he would have likely crashed to sleep already and he couldn't be made to give a damn about what others he didn't know about would think of him.

After a few moments the door opened and Ace cane face to face with someone there.

The person in question is a beautiful young woman with a slim yet endowed build with a somewhat small chest at likely B to a small C cup, but with a noticeable hips that could make any hot blooded male droll as she walked. She has light blue, shoulder-length hair that has a longer portion of her hair put into a braid on the left side of her face tied into a single braid, as well as a ahoge and yellow eyes that looked intensely as Ace entered the house. She was dressed in simple clothes that gave her plenty of movement freedom composed on gym shorts, a simple blouse, and slippers.

"Hey, I am Ace. I am one of the ones assigned as bodyguards to Mio. Nice to meet you." Ace sad trying to sound educated as the girl nodded.

"Yes, I got information regarding you from the one who assigned me this job." She said succinctly. "My name is Yuki Nonaka, I hope we can work well together from now on."

As she finished saying thus Ace nodded and extended his hand for a handshake which, after a moment of hesitation, she took it.

"So, is there a room that I can use? Preferentially one closer to where Mio is supposed to sleep at." Ace asked and Yuki nodded, indicating for him to follow.

As she moved ahead of him Ace couldn't resist looking at her profile. She really was a beautiful girl, that was simply an undeniable fact at this point. If it wasn't for the system screwing over any possible relationship with giving stupid options and making any possible relationship look like a game instead of reality then he wouldn't have minded trying to talk with her some, flirt a bit and all that.

Again frustration over this whole situation his life fell into bubbled up, but Ace quickly dowsed it down. He could not let his anger dictate his future. He had literally one year at most before end of the world scenarios one after another would show up. He needed to be prepared, and for that he couldn't just be some fancy puppet for whoever was controlling his system.

As they walked deeper into the house Ace could see two of the other occupants of the house. One was a guy, he has a dark green, almost black, hair that appears to be a little slick in the back with strands of his hair showing off his forehead and purple colored eyes, he had a well built but not overly exaggerated body when it comes to mass and looked relaxed on the outside but for the trained eye it was clear he was a capable person. He was calmly drinking some beer while by his side was a girl. She is a petite young girl who is surprisingly developed for her age that seemed one or two years younger than Ace, with blue-violet hair tied up in a ponytail that reached the middle of her back and yellow eyes that were very similar to those of Yuki but still being a bit more predatory in comparison to the calm pools that were Yuki's eyes. Their names were Lars, a devil who was an apprentice of Sirzechs' only Pawn, and Kurumi, younger sister of Yuki.

Isane didn't seem to react much to either Yuki or Kurumi from what Ace could see, he could only assume that was most likely because both were then lacked the bigger bust that would make Isane more interested. She likely would have reacted more, if not for how Isane had just seen Mio a few moments ago and the current fantasies she was having involving Ace, a few toys, and honey. She had quite the wild imagination there.

Ace meanwhile thought that this obsession with breasts that Isane sometimes had was a shame, if it wasn't for it she might be able to truly appreciate the beauty of some girls.

Anyway, after a few moments Ace got in front of his new room. It was the one at the end of the corridor with one room in front of it and two at it's left side.

"We divided the rooms and this was the one that was decided for you to stay at. Mio and Maria's room is the one to your left and mine and my sister's room is the one next to it. Lars' room is the one in front of you." Yuki explained in a matter of fact tone and Ace nodded, actually appreciating this after all the bullshit he had to deal with earlier.

"I see, and, quick question, but there were some things of mine that stayed behind when I met the contractor," Ace was trying to use as vague terms as possible so as to not let his cousin, who seemed to be starting to stir up, understand what was really going on.

Yuki, however, flashed a look of disgust at Ace before returning to her neutral appearance and spoke.

"Your 'belongings' that were back in the Underworld are in this house, do not worry." She said before turning and leaving the place.

Ace scratched his head, not quite understanding why the hell she seemed so pissed at him all of a sudden.

Ehhh, it's her business why she seems to dislike him so. As long as that doesn't make them working together an issue then Ace won't mind it much.

Thinking so Ace drags Isane to his room before opening it. As soon as he did Ace got to see something that he could only think was because of how this world was strange when it comes to being perverted, but at the same time he kinda thanked the world just a bit for it. After all, in front of him, using what one can only think as a sexy maid costume that shows off a lot of leg and a decent amount of clevage, was Zest.

Looking at her like this Ace had to admit that she truly was a beauty. She was quite exotic when compared to most other girls he could find around but her beauty could not be denied by anyone. Her golden eyes and short hair as well as her dark skin made her stand out considerably when compared to all other girls around and her clothes only accentuated this.

"Good evening master." Zest said as she saw Ace, bowing respectfully and making her cleavage even more apparent. The cut of the maid uniform was so low Ace could almost see her nipples from this angle, for fuck's sake.

Ace honestly was stumped for a bit when he saw her actions and had to try and understand what exactly was going on here.

"Ace could you plea- WWOOOAAAH THOSE ARE HUG-" Isane was starting to react to Zest, already starting to droll at Zest's honestly beautiful and exotic body. Her eyes wide as she almost launched herself at the beautiful woman.

BIZZZ!

"Shut up, go to sleep some more." Ace said as he electrified Isane just enough to make her pass out again. He knew that spending too long a time passed out could not be good for Isane's brain, but he was not really worried. If there was one positive aspect to Isane in Ace's eyes then it would be how durable she is, he was quite sure that she could take this and be fine.

Having made sure Isane would not be waking up to screw things right away Ace looked at the room and saw it had two beds. Without preamble Ace put Isane in one of them. Even at this state Ace could vaguely hear Isane counting cheep, or, well, her own version of it.

"One pair of Oppai, two pair of Oppai, three pairs of Oppai..."

Feeling a bit disgusted at his cousin Ace chose to ignore her for now. In all honesty, if Ace had a choice he would think of taking his cousin's gear away from her if only because Isane was not ready for all the shit that was close to starting and Ace could not say that he even wanted Isane to get involved at all. Isane was Ace's disgusting perv of a cousin, but she was still Ace's disgusting perv of a cousin and Ace would rather Isane not get involved with anything that could actually hurt her.

That she actually liked him did not help in this regard overall. She was a 'mostly' harmless girl who didn't deserve to get involved with anything that could hurt or kill her.

Sighing at this Ace shook his head, thoughts on what to do regarding Isane being pushed to another time as he had more to worry about right away. Having put his cousin to sleep Ace turned to Zest who was standing in attention, Zest was looking expectantly at Ace with a serious face and Ace decided to speak up.

"So, you accepted my deal then." Ace said to which she nodded.

"Yes, you are my new owner. You bought me even when I was already worthless, remember? You gave me worth and now I will help you."

As Zest said that she took out the single dollar coin that Ace bought her by and looked at it with intense care. Seeing this Ace nodded, understanding that his idea worked.

"Ahhh I see, so you decided to work for me then?" Ace said to confirm to which she nodded.

"Yes, from now on I am your property to do with as you please." She said stoically to which Ace instantly raised his hand.

"Yeah, no. Stop right there, none of that 'property' bullshit with me." Ace said which made Zest doubtful.

Honestly speaking Ace would not do such a thing as treating other people as property. Treating others as walking banks he can understand, some of those disgustingly rich people could afford some extra expenses, but not outright threat others as if they were just things to be owned.

Ace was better than that.

"You will be my employee, you work for me. You can work for me for as long as you want and if, at any moment, you want to leave I won't fight you over it. You will be paid fairly for what you do and beyond the working hours you are free to do as you please. So, don't call me master, just call me boss, ok?" Ace said and Zest nodded.

"As you wish, boss." She said and Ace nodded at her before noting.

"Quick question, but why did you think it would be best to be in my room wearing a maid outfit?" Ace asked.

"Because I wanted to properly pledge myself to you mast- ... boss." She said after almost calling him master. She honestly flinched when she realized she almost committed a grave mistake just after her new boss (read master in her mind) had just told him not to call him master.

She looked even more subdued, wondering if Ace would punish her for her incompetence. However Ace didn't show any reaction to it and simply nodded.

"I understand. I do, but you don't have to wear this unless you want to. Beyond working time you can do as you please." Ace said and Zest nodded her head and stayed just where she was. Seeing this he asked.

"So, shouldn't you be going to your room to get changed or something?"

"... This is my room." Zest said which made Ace freeze.

"What?" He asked in doubt and she decided to explain.

"For security sake there are a total of four rooms on this floor, three of the rooms can hold up to two people and the last one is for a single person. While you and Mio-sama were out me and the others divided the rooms. Maria will share a room with Mio-sama, Lars decided to stay on the single person room which is smaller and wouldn't fit two people, and the Nonaka sisters took the other shared room. As your propert... employee, I requested to be in the same room as you to ensure I could be at your service for whatever you may need at any time you may need it." She said and Ace could not help but again take another look at her.

Gulping he had to admit, amongst all girls he has met Zest was undoubtedly one of the most attractive ones. Everything about her was simply exotic and attractive to an unnatural degree and...

'Fuck, I need to use the Hormone fruit again! Damn you, teenager year hormones.' Ace cursed to himself as he tried not to think of Zest's body or anything of the sort.

He could see, clear as day, she had went through a damn lot on the hands of the one who owned her previously. As far as he could tell he could not even begin to guess what she went through on the hands of the bastard, and, honestly, he didn't want to guess at it either for fear of becoming too angry and doing something stupid.

From the start Ace had decided he could not and would not possibly act like a damn lustful monkey or force her on anything. She needed time to hopefully learn to be more than what she currently was, to learn to properly value herself, to have her own opinions, and for that he could not be acting like a perv with her.

Heck, if there was one good proof of what he was thinking then it was the system itself.

Despite she basically declaring herself as his property and saying that she would be willing to do anything he wanted, there was no heroine summary or anything of the sort for her. She declared herself in such a fashion for him, but there was no increase in affection points (the thing that let him see the relationship status).

Just based on that Ace could tell that something was wrong with her, her willingness to let herself be owned by someone without even carrying about that person, it was wrong. It was most likely due to thinking of herself as an object, and Ace would not make any moves that would reinforce that vision she has of herself.

Anyway, thinking this was enough Ace asked if she had a bath yet and she said that no, that she was not but she wanted to be in place for the time he would arrive in the room so she used some basic water magic to clean herself. Knowing that this was not the same as a bath to simply relax Ace told her that she could go take a bath since dead God knows how long she was at the dungeon for.

She needed a bath to both clean herself properly and, more importantly, relax a bit. It was obvious for Ace she was a pile of nerves and needed time to think things clearly now that she would be on a much better environment.

Ace may be fanatical for money and liking it almost as much as he liked his family, but he was still a great boss and would not mistreat his subordinates.

While Zest went to take a bath Ace went to Isane who was still counting opais, even though sometimes she did say 'pound me faster, yeah just like that'. Seeing the blood dripping down her nose Ace thought of how, if it was any other person who started bleeding through the nose after getting electrocuted, he would be worried. But this was Isane and her expression was a clear sign that he was fine enough, and the words coming out of her small lips was another show that she was not having any actual problem.

"Wake up lazy pervert." Ace said, sending another shock at Isane with just enough strength to wake the girl up.

"OPPAI!" Isane said waking up and jumping slightly from the bed while seemingly trying to grab at something in front of her. It took a few moments until Isane realized she was no longer dreaming and turned to her cousin. "Hey, Ace."

"Hey, finally calmed down enough to talk as a normal human being?" Ace asked annoyed, knowing that sometimes, with Isane, the best way of treating her is by being as blunt as possible.

"I am always normal, you that is strange. Not even doing the basic 6 hours study on the female physiology and always working instead. Even though I offered to let you study me as much as you want" Isane said with a pout and Ace just slapped her on the back of the head. Not that it stopped Isane from releasing a perverted giggle and saying that his 'sadist' was out tonight.

"Yeah, yeah, I am the crazy one by working and you that spends a quarter of every day watching porn is the normal one. Keep telling yourself that." Ace said with disdain and Isane shrugged

"Hey, I am the normal one! I only have a healthy desire for experiencing life in all it's forms instead of containing myself like you." Isane said and Ace rolled his eyes at that.

"Nah, I am the normal one. I just don't see the point of masturbation if can work instead to get all you possibly desire."

... Neither of the two was normal. This was actually a very normal discussion between the two. They both were extremes of their own sins, Isane was undoubtedly Lust while Ace was Greed. In truth both would fit perfectly in devil society, but considering Ace would never let himself be a property of another this was but a moot point. Well, unless there was some way to let him become a devil without becoming a member of someone's Peerage, then things could perhaps change.

"... Let's stop wasting time, we both know neither of us can convince the other of changing their ways." Ace said and Isane nodded. "Anyway, what happened after I was gone?" Ace asked after a bit.

"Huh….. oh uhhhh if you hadn't noticed….. But I was offered…. To be a devil." Isane said, waiting for Ace's opinion. Isane was still quite shocked that her forever working and greedy ass cousin even knew of this type of thing, she could swear Ace would have been too busy to notice the existence of devils and other supernatural creatures while trying to collect every penny he sees on the streets.

She literally remembers how he once completely forgot his own last birthday because of a job, she had even prepared such a great gift for him. That the present being herself on a sexy lingerie that left little to the imagination was something she didn't tell him afterwards, deciding to try again this year.

Never say that she isn't dedicated.

"A devil huh, you mean those general assholes with plenty of money and bat wings?" Ace said in a bit of mockery, disliking devils in general since they were the cause or helped in most problems that could cause the end of the world. Seriously, if they weren't all so filthy rich Ace wouldn't even want to get involved with any of them whatsoever.

"I guess? Rias-sempai was kinda nice and the others at ORC were good too." Isane said and Ace rolled his eyes at her naivety.

"You probably only paid attention to 20% of what they said as you were too busy staring at Rias' and Akeno's breasts." Ace said and Isane shouted with a flush on her face.

"Hey, I am not that bad!"

"40% then?" Ace said and Isane answered this new accusation by looking to the side without much to say.

Needless to be said, these two cousins knew one another too well.

"Anyway. "Ace said, breaking Isane of her stump after being caught in being an idiot. "The decision of becoming or not a devil is up to you, but I have to warn you some things before you actually go through with it. First, becoming a reincarnated devil means you are forever locked in servitude to the other person, you can never truly escape if you want to so unless you are absolutely sure you should not go through with it. You should make sure the devil in question really will treat you well and if it what you will get is worth it." Ace said, making Isane falter a bit. She, before, didn't pay much attention to those sorts of details (blame those huge breasts of Rias and Akeno that looked so fucking sexy), but the words of Ace made she think that MAYBE selling her soul to the devil was not such a great idea.

"I, I see." Isane said, a bit shaky but the thoughts of 'harem' and 'Opai' kept her strong in her desire to say 'fuck it' to her entire future. Especially if she could do as Rias mentioned, rise in ranks high enough to get herself her own peerage. She fully intended to then turn Ace and have wild sex with him and the many hot girls she would put in her peerage.

That was her current dream.

"Another thing you should understand is that, in the supernatural side of things, power is everything."

"Huh, what do you mean Ace." Isane said, being cut off from her fantasy regarding what she would do when in bed using some of the toys she already had and all the possible other toys the devils must have created.

Rias herself said that devils were a race of sin, as such they must have some amazing selection of sex toys.

"What I mean is that, in the supernatural world, there is no such thing as the law as you and I know it. There is some law and order but, on the most part, the one with the biggest shtick can do whatever the hell he wants. Why else do you think that in many legends back in Greece you can see Zeus raping women left and right and no one never does anything to him? That is because he is strong."

"That, that doesn't sound right." Isane said, shocked to realize this fact and disgusted by it. She was a pervert but she did not condone rape unless it is some sort of consensual play between a couple (or group).

"It isn't right, but it is how it works. If you join the devils you will eventually face many life or death situations, be wounded and suffer more than you had ever done before. Once you become a devil, you'll become enemies to the angels, fallen angels and other races and Pantheons that hate devils for a diversity of reasons. If you accept you must understand that you will be forfeiting your peaceful life for good."

"I… Her... But Rias-senpai said I have a sacred gear. As long as I have this then I can never live a peaceful life and people are gone come to kill me." Isane said, showing some fear to which Ace cut her off.

"Yeah, and the last few who tried have already been dealt with by yours truly."

"... What?"

"Yeah, when I heard a girl came out of nowhere and asked you out I could see easily enough that something was up. There was no way that a girl you never met would do this normally."

"HEY!" Isane shouted to which Ace raised a single eyebrow.

"You do know that your reputation in town is about as great as a piece of garbage a dog has pissed on, right? You may be one of the prettiest girls in town, no questions asked, but your reputation from your actions makes all girls want to get far away from you." Ace said and Isane didn't know how she should react.

On one hand Ace said no girl would even want to be with her, which was bad, but on the other he also said that she was one of the prettiest girls in town, which was great for Isane. Many times she wondered if he even really saw her as a girl, having confirmation that he DID see her as such was great.

'Yep, just wait for your birthday. Hehehe.' Isane thought to herself before snapping out of perverted thoughts and looked straight at Ace.

"So, she was only after this gear I have?"

"Afraid so." Ace said. "I found out where she was and went to confront her. She was a fallen angel and I have made absolute sure that she and all her friends would not be able to spread any news about you to others. With some luck this will delay others from finding out of your existence."

"But, what is the point? I mean, if more people of the supernatural are gona find out about me either way then even if I want to avoid this then wouldn't it be best to join Rias? At least it should be safer."

Ace actually shuddered, he could not help but think how, in the light novels he knows, Issei almost died and literally died many times. Being the Red Dragon Emperor was not safe in the slightest and being with Rias would only make it worse. Heck, after a certain point Issei was the one pulling along the peerage and taking most of the burden, Ace didn't want Isane to go through the same.

Especially the part where Issei died in agony due to poison, no way in hell Ace would let his cute, perverted, and somewhat innocent cousin to go through any of that.

"Look, I am just asking you to, if you want to join, then do so with both your eyes wide open and know that your gear is dangerous. Many people will target you from the moment they realize you have it in your possession. Heck, the White Dragon Emperor will target you for certain and he could easily aim for our family just to push you forward." Ace said and Isane looked shocked.

"WHAT?!"

"Yeah, the Red and White dragon emperors are well known for being eternal rivals. And this generation White dragon emperor is especially bad news since he is a descendant of Lucifer. Honestly he could probably destroy Rias' entire peerage in less than 30 seconds if he tried it in a playful manner, and he will be aiming at you out of sheer principle. And, if he is disappointed by your strength, or just for shits and giggles, he would try and push you into becoming an avenger. Thus killing your parents."

It was safe to say that Isane was currently close to shitting in her pants right now. She didn't understood before just how dangerous her position was, not only for her but for those around her.

"Look, if you don't want to have this gear then there might be a way to deal with it. I will try to talk to someone about this and depending on how things play out it should not be impossible for something to be made regarding it. Probably get you another powerful but less eye catching gear that would still let you be strong without making half the world want your hide as a prize."

Isane, hearing this, shuddered and nodded.

"Yeah, i guess I will try and talk some more with Rias next I meet her. Try and understand more all this supernatural stuff."

"My tip, get to talk to her at night when it is close to time for you to go to sleep." Ace said.

"Why?"

"Because, knowing you, you would have already spent at least a big part of all your 'energy' beforehand to hentai and magazines. This way you would at least be able to concentrate more on what she says instead of her boobs. Maybe you can even get up to 80% there."

Isane, realizing Ace was mocking her, shot back.

"Well, at least I would be looking at her as a woman instead of a walking wallet."

Ace just shrugged.

"Priorities."

Isane shook her head she heard her cousin.

"I can never understand you." Isane said. "I just don't understand why you are so against sex in general."

"I am not against sex, just meaningless sex. I would rather at least have an intimate relation with the girl with my upper head before my lower one gets intimate with the girl." Ace said and Isane giggled perversely at that, earning another slap from Ace.

"Anyway," Isane said, completely ignoring the slap. "what is the deal with you becoming a bodyguard?"

"Well, there were many circumstances surrounding this, she was in danger and as a man I should try and help and-"

"Her family paid you a lot, right?"

"A lot." Ace nodded unashamed instantly.

"And, let me guess, you could have made them pay more but you didn't even think of asking more because you was too distracted by how much the person paid you." Isane said and Ace looked like he was stabbed in the heart at that remark.

Truly, these two bickered, mocked, fought, and complained about each other all the time but, at the end of the day, they truly were like family.

So, the team that will be protecting Mio has been decided. Maria, Lars, the Nonaka sisters, and Ace. I will expand on them in the future, including why Yuki despises Ace (if her acting until now didn't show it yet). Also, Zest will need time to properly stop thinking of herself as a thing. She grew up learning and knowing this, it is something as natural to her as breathing. Heck, her taking the offer from Ace is already a whole lot to her.
