The Term Begins

The next morning, I woke up and went on my daily run before school. Of course, Rei-senpai and I jugged together.

"See you later, senpai."

I waved my hand as I headed back to change into my uniform. By the time I arrived home, Lumiere and Stella were already awake. Stella made us breakfast, as we headed off to school for the entrance ceremony.

Since it was the entrance ceremony, we didn't need to bring anything to school. Afterward, we would just go home right away.

After breakfast, Lumi and I stood by the door. Stella stayed behind at home, while only Lumi and I headed off to school.

It seemed like Futaba-san and Onee-chan would head off later.

Lumi and I started walking to school together. The Amaterasu magical academy is one of the top magical academies in the world. With the famous Witch of Eden being the Headmaster as well as the Chairman of the board, many people from around the world were interested in joining.

The academy was large, about the size of a small town even. Of course, the fees were high, but many students were either from rich families or were in on a scholarship.

The academy is also close to the mansion where I live. In fact, it's not even a ten-minute walk to and from, said school.

After a short few minutes of walking, we arrived at the front gate. Some students were already round, standing by the sakura trees that blossomed, leaving leaves everywhere.

Of course, it was a beautiful sight to behold but wasn't rare either.

In just a while, the protagonist would be here. In the game, he came late to the entrance ceremony which was where it had all begun.

There, he would meet the first heroine of the story, who was also late.

Chisaki Airi, a beautiful redhead with long hair and twin-tails. Her chest is on the larger size, being one of the largest in the entire game.

No matter which route you go for, the protagonist would fall in love with Airi first, before another route could begin. Of course, being one of the main heroines, she would eventually fall in love with the protagonist.

She is also a strong ability-user who specializes in flame magic. To be specific, she's a magic swordsman.

Her ancestral technique with the sword has been passed down and ingrained in her since childhood, along with the destructive flame magic that she infuses into her technique.

Coincidently, Rei-senpai uses water magic, while Lumi can use all elements, she specializes in wind magic. That means one element is missing right? Well, I'll introduce her when the time comes.

When they meet for the first time, a lucky pervert moment happens to the protagonist. This lead to her labeling as a pervert and avoiding him at the beginning.

She also happens to be the one I ship the most with the protagonist. Of course, she isn't my favorite heroine either. They should be introduced soon enough. I can't wait until then.

Now let's get the story moving on, we've been at this part of the story for over five chapters now.

Inside the large gym, where the entrance ceremony was being held, Futaba-san being the headmaster of the academy was making her speech.

All the new students were welcomed, while no one spoke due to their respect for the Witch of Eden.

During the speech, I could see Onee-chan sitting beside other teachers on the side of the gym.

From what I was told this morning, the ceremony would go on for a while. Since that was so, I quietly looked around, trying to spot certain individuals.

Sitting next to me, Lumi was probably wondering what I was doing. As I looked around, I apologized to the other students who couldn't see.

After a bit, I spotted the protagonist.

With long white hair that was tied up in the same style as me, and a beautiful ikemen face.

Even though he is the protagonist, he's a bit on the short side, only being slightly taller than the average female, at one hundred and sixty-eight centimeters tall.

His build is also thin and quite feminine, if he were to dress up as a girl, one would really think that he was a girl.

Oh, I've been describing him, but having introduced him yet. Saito Ren, his name is a gender-neutral name. Sixteen years old this year, he comes from a regular family and is here on a scholarship due to his amazing talent that was discovered since birth.

Not only is he talented from birth with cheat-like abilities and a handsome face, but he would also grow to be able to solo the Demon King on his own before the third year even starts.

It was no wonder he was the protagonist of this world.

Not so far away, just diagonal of him, I spotted Chisaki Airi, sometimes staring at the back of his head.

When I glanced at her, our eyes met briefly. After turning away, I looked around to see if I could find any of the other heroines. Unfortunately, I couldn't since there weren't many heroines in the new batch of students in the first place.

After the entrance ceremony, Lumi and I headed home. Since there were plenty of opportunities to meet the protagonist, I didn't need to do anything for now since we will be in the same class for certain.

As we headed home, there were many students looking at us while whispering. I wondered what they were talking about.

They must be baffled by Lumiere's dazzling beauty, I thought.

Ignoring their gazes, the two of us exited the front gate, which was hundreds of meters away from the gymnasium, and turned at a corner to get home.

Just outside the front gate, I could hear a certain person shouting.

"Come back here!!!"

In front of me, the protagonist Saito Ren was running at full speed away from the heroine Chisaki Airi.

"Heh, so that just happened."

Turning into a corner, we walked home. We didn't really talk much either and stayed silent a majority of the way.

Shortly afterward, we arrived home. Stella came to greet us at the front door.

"How was your first day?"

"It was just the entrance ceremony."

"Well anyway, see you later."

After saying farewell, I headed to my room to change out of my uniform.

While I was walking to my room, two people were standing by the front door, having a chat.

"What should I do, Stella? We haven't talked much whether at home or at school. The entire way, we hardly spoke."

"Mistress, you must be patient in matters of love. There is still lots of time, you are still young. I'm sure, Haruhiro-sama will open up to you eventually."

"Really? Are you sure?"

"Of course."

"Tehee, I'll believe you then."

In my room, I had finished changing out of my uniform. After doing a light workout, I headed out to the waterfall out the back of the mansion.

There, I sat under the waterfall and thought about my future path.
