Empty Mind and Heart

She had not meet him for 6 years and he was still the same as she remembers. With a big smile, he started to talk to her, asking about how she was doing and such.

Throughout the conversation, she tried her best to keep her smile and talk without showing any unnecessary emotions. All his words were just going through her head - it was all like a dream for her to converse like that with him again. After all, she thougt that he would be transferred to other school in those 6 years.

Finally, he ended the conversation after realizing that the recess time was almost up.

Mr. Wage: "I've got to get going now because I have class after this. Good luck for anything you are doing and if you were to work in this area, we can meet up some time".

She was able to nod her head with a smile.

Going out of the office, she walked to the school gate wuth her head down. Her mind was empty, her heart was numb.

On her way going back home, she almost missed the road to her home and had to turned back the car twice. Upon arriving home, she went straight to her room and laid on her back on her bed. She closed her eyes and then cried softly.

She did not know why she was crying.

She thought that she was able to forget about him after those times in 6 years.

Suddenly she remembered when she met him for the first time 9 years ago, when she was 15.
