Why is he even hesitating?
He can't follow Roman, not after what he has done. This is not even something to think about. My dad would fix things. He is capable and he will protect us.
"Lo?" I call his name.
He isn't looking at me.
"Lo please,'' I beg him. I know this is hard for him. I know he is confused and doesn't know what to do but I need him to trust my family. I don't know what the hell is going on with Roman, but we can't trust him anymore. He might have helped us, he might have saved me, but he hurt Tala and that triumphs every good thing he has done.
"What is your decision?" My dad asks him.
Roman is watching, he is waiting for him to choose to leave. That would have been the plan from earlier, but things have changed.
Slowly, Lo turns to me, and I see it in his eyes.
He is not staying.
"Fuck Lo, don't do this right now.''
He sighs "I have no choice."
