Chapter 58

  How could she Lilo Stan be a gold digger or get aquainted with Ruben cause of his status?? She was more than embarrassed, she just couldn't tell why Ruth hated her this much. Lilo just couldn't figure out why she was being attacked for nothing.

She glared at Ruth who sat elegantly on her seat with her shoulders raised high. She was a true definition of beauty and Royalty. "You are totally right my dear Ruth, I don't believe this. Why would Ruben stoop so low in marrying a nobody!" Deliah said leering at Lilo. 

Lilo was more than astonished, these royal craps were indeed so petty, they think they're higher than everyone in the world cause of their little cheap positions. And to think she rated them before now. They really have no idea who she is, "I think that should be the other way round. No offence Ruben. But you think because your son is royalty he's some kind of big shot?" She asked leaving them astonished.

"Not everyone who goes around your son wants money from him. I'm Lilo Stan an independent woman, who works so hard to get what she wants. I'm not some liability else I should be on a man's bed at this hour!" Lilo said sternly.

"And by working hard, you mean modelling??" Ruth asked sarcastically making the other people on the table laugh. They all already hated Lilo cause she looked like one that would challenge their words. "I believe your son is also a model!" Ruben couldn't understand why he was always the case study in every argument. He wanted to bring a girl for dinner tonight and he wanted a classy one. But he had no idea his mum would react this way to his guest.

"Ah... You don't know how very ashamed I am of my son, foolish girl. You both are disgrace to your families!" Ruth started. "Shouldn't you be at your engagement party tonight where you'd be honored and respected by all. But no... Our wonderful career lady thought she's a smart woman and she brought a look alike to represent her instead!" "Oh you figured!" Lilo asked nonchalantly.

"I figured out the moment Antonio said he was with his wife. You let another woman live with your supposed husband why? So she would help you out with the process you're scared of?" The both women glared at each other with so much hate in their eyes.

Ruben was astonished by the sudden revelation and Lilo was not denying it. So she's actually fake marrying Antonio while working, he stared at her in utter disbelief. Ruth couldn't get enough of the confused look on Rubens face.

"You're smart but not just smart enough!" Ruth complimented sardonically. Everyone at the table, stared at Lilo in disgust. They could not believe what they just heard. "What a shameless woman you are!" A woman in a black dress said, she could not hold it in anymore. "Who's your mother she shouldn't lift up her face for raising such ....!" "That's enough, the person you addressed with disrespect is my guest and not a woman you should treat with so much disrespect!" Said Ruben.
