The Path Of Cultivation Begins| Again

"Wait what?!" Amelia exclaimed at the words which she had just heard.

"Do I need to repeat myself again?"

Layla looked annoyed at the thought of repeating words which she was sure Amelia had heard.

It wasn't only Amelia who was shocked at Layla's words but the other two boys were also shocked.

The three looked at Ethan at the same time and Ethan just had a restless smile on his face.

Minutes had passed and Ethan was through teaching Leo and Matthew about blocked meridians.

Amelia and Layla had headed to a furnace room to make the impurity cleansing pill for Ethan.

"Hey, are you sure you still have the same skills as before?" Layla asked Amelia

"Of course, underestimating my skills in alchemy is an insult to all my hard work and training"

Layla just shrugged hearing her words indicating she didn't care about Amelia's words.

"I'll need to have full concentration when I do this, so can you wait outside"

She then pushed Layla out of the furnace room locking it's doors.

Amelia now sat down on a stool, her eyes closed, she took a deep breath, she inhaled deeply then exhaled.

Immediately her eyes opened and she stood up, grinding all the herbs with precision.

Minutes later all the herbs were grinded perfectly and then she poured them into the cauldron one by one following a time and pattern.

She then used her mana to steer all the herbs and used part of it to remove impurities from the cauldron.

This all took an hour and when it was done the cover of the cauldron flew off of it and the remaining impurities which couldn't be removed by her came out as smoke indicating no impurities remained and only a flawless pill remained in the cauldron.

After all this was done she put the pill into a container and left the furnace room.

Layla was seated on a chair which she had collected from the receptionist when she noticed Amelia coming out.

"So..." she looked at Amelia and asked hoping the process went well.

"It went well" Amelia said confirming she had done everything well with a smile on her face and also a body drenched in sweat.

She was about to fall to the ground as she had exhausted herself when she was caught by Layla.

"You never change do you?" Layla scoffed knowing she had overexerted herself to make the perfect pill.

She had always wanted everything she did to be perfect after all.

Amelia heard her words and just smiled saying nothing, she was too tired to talk anyways.

Layla took Amelia back to the inn and rented a room for her immediately they got to the inn.

She took her to the new room then laid her on the bed.

When that was done she went back to her own room where the three boys were chatting and laughing amongst themselves.

Layla was now in the room and they had stopped conversing, Ethan now wore a serious face and got up to talk to her.

"Was she successful in making the pill" Ethan asked her since he didn't see Amelia beside her.

Layla just nodded confirming it was a success which Ethan just responded to with a smile on his face, he knew she wasn't going to fail and she proved him right.

She brought the container which contained the pill out of her ring and handed it to Ethan.

He then took the pill out of the container, the pill now in his hands, he sat down in a lotus position before examining it then threw it into his mouth before swallowing it.

Immediately the pill was swallowed he started meditating and the pill took effect without wasting even a second, the impurities which had been blocking his meridians came out as sweat and were all over his body which brought a putrid smell.

The other three had left him in the room alone not to disturb his cultivation.

Layla then rented other rooms for every single one of them and sent them off to their own rooms.

She stayed in the room which was going to be for Ethan when he was through with what he was doing.

Then she sighed and smiled joyfully knowing Ethan was about to start his path to cultivation, again, but she was sure he would be stronger than the last time.

Hours had now passed and the other four just heard the door to Layla's room open.

They all rushed out of their room to check on Ethan, but what they saw surprised them.

Ethan had just finished taking a bath to wash away all the impurities from his body and after that he cleaned away the impurities from the ground before he came out.

Back to the present, the thing which put them in a state of shock wasn't the way he looked, it was how his demeanour had changed.

He now looked like someone profound but also with a cold type of aura which always surrounded him.

It sent a chill down their spines with the cold gaze which stared at them.

It made them all feel fear looking at him, but not the two girls as they just smiled, knowing this was shadow's personality.

"Why is everyone staring at me like that, is there something on me?"

He asked them all with no emotion reflecting in his tone.

He then walked out of Layla's room and walked to the group who were in front of him.

Upon reaching where they all were, Amelia and Layla looked at him and were bewildered at what they saw.

"But, how?" Amelia asked confused and also speechless.

"How is this possible?" Layla also couldn't believe it

The other two were confused as to what was going on but didn't know whether to ask them or not.

"What is going on?" Matthew got tired of being in the dark so asked the two girls what caused their state of shock.

"I jumped the mortal realm and earth realm" he said in a plain voice not going into detail.

"So you mean to say..." Matthew was now speechless and couldn't complete his words.

"Yes I am in the beginners foundation of the ascension realm"

His words were too shocking to everyone present there even the two girls.

Seeing their reactions Ethan just shrugged, entering the room which Layla had brought for him.

They remained there for a couple of minutes before their bewilderment ceased.

They all entered Ethan's room and saw him back to cultivating.

They wouldn't have minded this at first but when they saw the rate at which the mana in the atmosphere was being absorbed they had finally noticed why his cultivation base was that fast.

Ethan had used one of the cultivation technique of his past life, whereby a single person was cultivating as if it were a thousand cultivators cultivating at the same spot, but the technique shouldn't be used for long.

The technique was a dangerous one especially when you didn't have a large amount of space in your dantian to store the mana which was being absorbed.

This would lead to the person being crippled from cultivation or worse dying because they couldn't control the mana that was entering them.

"I'm going to start cultivating, you three should also join if you want to reach new heights, I'm talking to you two mainly"

The four sat down around Ethan one to the west, one east, one north and the last south putting Ethan at the center of the four.

They all cultivated, Leo and Matthew were able to breakthrough to the intermediate foundation of the earth realm each.

Hours passed and it was now the next day.

They had finished cultivating and all of them had decided to take their baths, everyone heading back to their own room.

After they were all through they met at the front of the inn as it was the place they had decided to meet when they were through dressing up.

Then they all went to get lunch from a restaurant.

They were now in the restaurant eating their meal.

"I hope you all haven't forgotten your training with me today" Layla said to the three boys with a smile on her face.

Upon hearing that they choked on their food.

They had been having a good day until they had to be reminded by this crazy lady the training they had with her today.

Some time later, they had now all eating their fill and were heading somewhere else instead of the inn except for Amelia.

They headed to the training ground, nervousness in the eyes of the other two, Ethan just walked, scanning his surroundings as he followed them to the park.

Since he had come out of that room he had been exhibiting a cold aura which the other girls didn't mind because this was shadow's personality.

The other two boys though minded this because they didn't see Ethan as a cold person.

They had finally gotten to the training ground and they all sat in a circle waiting for Layla to say something.

"So you three will be training under me, I hope you prepared for this as I won't be letting you go until you're able to fight me and make me proud"

The three listened and took her words seriously because they knew she wasn't joking.

She then stood up and looked at the three boys.

"I would like to test your capabilities first before I train you so I would know your strength.

She looked at every one of them seriously then added

"So who is coming first?"
