Moonless Night Pack

Wearing nothing but that T-shirt she could not help but feel helplessly exposed even if it nearly was big enough to go down to just above her knee.

The smell of male cologne and musk filled her nose. To say she did not find it intoxicating would earn her to be struck by lightning.

Bitting her lips as she ponders how to answer, after all, did they not hear the gunshots? Did they not hear the hounds running after her?

"Erm... Well, it's simple I ran from being killed by humans..." Mumbling again softly keeping her eyes down not to trigger the alpha so he hopefully would not see her as a treat to his pack. They seriously couldn't blame her for running for her life right? But the next word of his had her heart fall with a heavy thump.

"Well, that still doesn't explain why you did cross our borders. After all, they are marked." Davy smirked deviously, mischievously enjoying tormenting this pretty little fox. He could hear the thump of her heart beating hard in her chest as her anxiety rose higher and higher.

With a flabbergasted look on her face of utter disbelief. Thinking to herself where the hell had been the marks? She did not see any of them her panic-driven run ok? Her face keeps changing expression and most must have easily exposed her thoughts too much to the experienced wolves. The Beta and Gamma wolves started to snicker containing their own laughter the gamma even had to bit his own lower lip twice not to burst out.

Eyeing them with a semi-oppressing glare the two others quickly quiet down, avoiding to look at the fox anymore whistling in empty air as they place their hands in their own pockets.

Seriously!? Unable to see where or when she had crossed those bloody marks... they likely were on the trees but she had been too busy fleeing at break-neck speed to care or even consider anything about them.

Grabbing her wrist and pulling her up to his chest he gave the Beta and the Gamma a look of dismissal both nodded and left the scene without turning back once. Dragging the girl with a large stride to a holding house where the guest would stay while it would also be very easy to verify her every move while she stayed on his turf.

Actually, he had no clue why he did not just let her go. She clearly was not a treat while his men had made the hunters turn away on the pretence of private property and that no hunting was allowed on their lands.

Opening the door to the house he said. "Here you will stay here with me. So I can monitor you at night we can't just let you leave in case you would bring enemies to our lands.

Faline's mouth fell in a big gap making an O shape totally speechless! The hell??? Lead who? what f*cking the hell!!! Furry grew within the pit of her stomach.

"No, I don't wish to stay here, after all, I only stepped here as a mistake..." she wanted to continue to argue but the glowing menacing glare he served her instantly shut her mouth up with teeth smack sound.

A knock on the door was made not too light nor too loud, followed by a girl entering the place with a sweet little smile on her lips clearly she was an omega as her head stayed down submissively in front of the leader the alpha.

"I brought you the requested cloth Alpha." She said sweetly her eyes darting to the other girl from time to time.

With a motion of his hand indicating to hand it over to him she gave him the small summer dress made a curtsy and left wordlessly thereafter.

Turning his gaze back to Falina he threw her the little dress which she caught but still landed half over her face and head, making her body freeze in place as her thoughts of the situation kept going from bad to worst.

Looking at it she sighed softly. Obviously, they were not letting her leave just yet and she had no power to run away at the present, she was spent, hungry and sore! All the running had drained her terribly!

'The shower is over there if you want one' he said pointing down the hallway. 'Then the food his back this way going the other way inside the L shaped hall.'

'Your room will be this one and I will be right in front so you can just knock if anything is needed.' Brushing his hair with his hand as he added.

'As long you behave no one will hurt you.' He spoke lightly then his gaze hardened.

"But if we find that you are leading a spy or creating troubles you'll regret ever stepping here." His tone was dark and heavy his aura reeked of aggressivity and dominance, making the fox lady feel like it would be better to truly believe whatever threats he was making.

Seeing her flatter under his aura he retracted it, after all, he did not want to bully the girl too much. After all, she truly seemed innocent, as well as, if he scared her shitless. it would not be fun to tease her.

After a moment she rose her voice softly to speak. "I still don't know where I am I-I mean which pack is your pack?" she lightly uttered the words in mumbles.

Raising one eyebrow Davy spoke in a softer tone. "Moonless night pack."

pin-drop silence as her mouth gone a gap, her eyes wide before quickly closing her mouth up. That pack was known everywhere even the humans that knew them feared those brutal wolves! They were the bloodiest pack around in the northlands.

Fuck!! she was doomed! They would never release her! Well, at least they didn't kill her on the spot. Guess it means she wasn't so hopeless after all. She could still hope to somehow escape from their clutches.

As if he could guess some of her inner turmoil. He placed his palm on her head which brought her to look up to his eyes. He could see her inner fox, its ears flatten on its head and tail hung low making itself as non-threatening as possible, making him drew a corner smile on his lips as he pats her head gently ruffling her hair.

"Go take a shower then join for food I'm sure your stomach will agree with me." He smirked as her stomach protested about it not being feed.

Turning on her heels she left with her heart beating like it was like heavy metal-music drums beat. It was nearly drummed out of her rib cage!
