81 Sorting out Carnia 4

Carnia pouted her lips and dodged Lily's glaring eyes. After all, she too knew that what she said was the truth and she couldn't deny that fact no matter how shameless she would try to be.

"But," Carnia hesitated before speaking again, "how can I say everything to her?"

Lily squinted her eyes and asked back, "Why can't you tell her? Are you saying that those two women are more important to you than me?"

"When did I say such a thing?" Carnia immediately refuted. Even if she really thought so in her heart she would not say the words out loud. She is not stupid to do such a thing. 

If she really is such dumb person, how could she have played with and used Lily for all these years? 

The way she refuted so soon and with a raised voice made Lily feel doubtful. She raised an eyebrow, "You are hiding something from me."

"What can I hide from you? Why are you even doubting me, your friend?" Carnia dodged her eyes and asked back.
