It is not one or two things she had done to Fenella all her life.

If one were to count the things that she and Lily had done to Fenella, then even an entire year wouldn't be enough. That is how long the list could very easily go.

If Fenella were to really get back at every single thing that she had done to her, then Carnia was sure that she would be dead by two weeks. This number is not even an imaginative number but it would be very realistic as it was the length at which they both had gone to bully Fenella throughout her life.

She then looked at Lily and thought how she was still alive despite staying here for a whole month.

But just as soon as the question came to her mind, the answer followed along without any delay. It was for herself.

Yes, Fenella had kept Lily alive so that she could be used as a trap to capture Carnia.

Now that Carnia was caught, Lily was of no use to Fenella. Hence it was clear that her days were numbered.
