Old pet, New form 2

An Elf hovering a broomstick would bring horror to the world.

With the huge rivalry between the both clans, if an elf were to really carry a broomstick, she would definitely be branded as a traitor and be looked at as a monster that went against the clan.

It would be a wonder if she could be alive by the next day.

When she thought of how to carry her Chu Chu along with her, her happy mood which just sprouted when she saw Chu Chu disappeared again.

With the strong bond between them, if she was not there to take care of Chu Chu, it would lose its soul that took decades to become stronger.

In short, her lively and cutie Chu Chu would be dead if she were to abandon it.

Even if she had to, she can't leave her Chu Chu alone either. Hence she had to look for some other alternate idea to make her Chu Chu to always stay together with her.

As she kept on thinking about ideas, the broomstick swirled around her and kept on dancing around her in a frenzy.

Maybe when it felt that everyone was looking at Tanzi's real 'dead' body, it had felt sad too.

Luckily the bond between each other made it known that it's master was still alive somewhere.

But once it saw the really alive Tanzi it was too excited to contain itself.

Tanzi too can understand it's emotions and she raised her hand to softly ruffle its feathers on the back with a smile.

"Chu Chu, I am also happy to see you again." she gently muttered to the broomstick.

"What should we do? We can't let you stay like the broomstick if I have to take you along with me." She asked again with her voice lowered in sadness.

Maybe Chu Chu too detected it's master's sadness and stopped jumping around. It then calmly floated in front of her.

Tanzi patted it slowly looking at its well behaved appearance. She then saw her hands being different from before and suddenly once again realized that now she is an Elf.

Even if she can't perform any witchcraft at this moment, maybe there could be something she could do as an Elf?

She concentrated for a few seconds and gently caressed Chu Chu while repeatedly thinking to herself, 'Change the appearance. Change the appearance. Change the appearance.'

She was just trying with her luck and looks like luck was really on her side as the broomstick started glowing under her hands.

A white light engulfed the broomstick and under her eyes, her Chu Chu started transforming its appearance.

The long appearance under the light suddenly shrunk and Tanzi started worrying looking at this.

Nothing would happen to her Chu Chu, right?

She just thought of changing its appearance but she did not think of how its appearance should be changed into. She doesn't know it would affect her Chu Chu's form later but now she started worrying that her Chu Chu disappeared in front of her eyes.

Just what on earth is happening?

Such a long length was shrunk into the size of a small ball and she couldn't even see what was going on behind the bright light.

After a few seconds the light finally vanished and under Tanzi's curious gaze, a small bird came out of the light.

A bird as small as her fist.

'Squeak' the little bird squeaked when it saw Tanzi looking at it.

Tanzi blinked her eyes looking at the little bird in front of her. As she did not react to the sound that the bird just made, the bird started worrying about her and flapped its little wings and started circling around her.

Isn't this how her Chu Chu just circled around her just a couple of minutes ago?

So, this little bird really is her Chu Chu?

Tanzi doesn't know if she should trust this or not for a while.

But when she saw how cute the bird was, her maiden heart couldn't help but melt like a cube of butter.

She slowly opened her lips to confirm her doubts, "Chu Chu?"

The little bird stopped circling around her when it finally heard a sound from Tanzi. It came back to its previous position in front of Tanzi and blinked its little eyes while squawking, "Squeak. Squeak."

It's actions and its eyes showed that it wanted to say, "Yes, yes. I am your Chu Chu. Why are you looking at me like that?"

Tanzi smiled looking at the little bird. When her Chu Chu was in the form of a broomstick, it was already cute with its little antics like circling around her and jumping around in the air.

But now that it transformed into a little bird, it got a new voice which it didn't have before. It got a pair of eyes which looked misty and pure.

Now adding the previous cute antics to these new attributes, her Chu Chu only got even cuter than ever.
