The Witchy Elf

She is famed as the Greatest of all Witches and yet one day she was found dead. What's more shocking is that she doesn't even know how she had died or who had killed her. Luckily for her, she got another chance as she reincarnated. When she came back to life, she doesn't recognize her surroundings nor the people around her. When she saw herself, she finally found that the body her soul entered was not her's but instead it belonged to an Elf. An Elf whom all the other Elves bully as a Good-for-nothing. It doesn't matter if she was a Good for nothing because her own talent was enough to strive any environment by herself. But what matters is that both the Magical clans Witches and Elves were said to be rivals for around thousands of years for now. How could she survive being a member of a rival clan? She thus starts a brand new journey of being an elf while using her techniques that she learned being a witch. She moves on finding the reason behind her death and the person who was responsible for the same. She continues proving everyone that she not only could be the Greatest of all the Witches but she could also be the Greatest of all Elves- of course by using a little, just a little, of her witchcraft. But can she stop by just being the Greatest of Witches and Elves? Maybe she could go beyond that? Follow her journey to find more... The Witchy Elf - Why just a Witch or an Elf when she can be both? New Body, New Powers 1

He understood that she was not going to answer his question when he heard another question of her own.

But he was not angered. Because he knows that she should be in a rush to know about her situation more than he does.

Hence he thought for a second as he said, 'I think I saw someone running away from here. But I was underwater at that time. So except for their silhouettes, I couldn't see anything else."

Tanzi did not doubt his words as she nodded her head and once again asked, "Do you remember how many were there?"

The Merman knows the importance of this matter and thus did not take any of her questions lightly while he seriously thought hard before replying, "I think there were four."

Tanzi nodded her head. She wanted to ask more but before she could do so, he stopped her with his hand.

He looked at her confused gaze and spoke, "I am not leaving this place and you can ask me whatever you want at any time. For now, the most important issue is you."

Tanzi did not understand his words, "Me?"

He sighed and his gaze lowered as he looked at her body, "How long are you going to stay with your wet clothes? You need to dry them up first. Don't you think so? Or do you want to get sick?"

Tanzi then realized that her clothes, her hair and everything on her body were wet.

She had been a ferocious Witch all her life and was thus never once feared heat, cold nor being drenched for a long time.

But she doesn't know the strength of this Elf's body yet. Hence she should not allow this body to get sick.

She could not allow this body to get sick.

She had so much to find out and so much more to do. Until then, she can't risk getting sick or being dead.

She should stay healthy and strong until everything is settled first.

She then looked around to find that this place is out of nowhere. She doesn't even know where this place is and how to go out of here.

Where to get her clothes dry and where to get a new set of clothes?

With this new body, she doesn't even have her little pouch, in which she could store all her things.

If she had her pouch, she could instantly take a set of new clothes out without any delay. But what to do now?

She wished her body could heat by itself while also passing that heat to her dress so it could dry up fast.

As soon as that thought passed her mind, she suddenly felt some heat emanating from her skin.

The newfound warmth surprised her as she bent her head below to look at her own body.

She saw as the wetness from her dress started disappearing slowly and in a few more seconds her entire body was no longer wet. Her hair, clothes and everything was dried up in an instant as she could feel a small amount of heat still emanating from her own skin.

After a few more moments she could even see a layer of steam coming out of all her pores on the skin and she felt like she started to burn even though it didn't hurt her.

She had a feeling and calmed herself down before calmly thinking, 'Turn cooler.'

Instantly her skin's temperature turned back to normal and the steam that was coming out was no longer seen.

Maybe an Elf can change the body temperature at their own will.

Tanzi was happy to learn one point about an Elf; Which would help her in knowing everything about the body in which she would live from now onwards.

She then gave a grin and looked back at the Merman who was in the lake looking at her.

Her smile was similar to that of a kid that just got a candy. It made the Merman feel amused and he grinned at her.

When she noticed his grin, Tanzi finally realized that she was a bit too happy for such a simple achievement.

How childish! How humiliating!

She chided herself in her heart before retracting her grin.

Of course the man understood what she thought of with just one look. This made her feel even more humiliated and thus wanted to speak something on her behalf.

She took a step forward and opened her lips to speak but before she could utter a word, her head spinned a little and she lost her balance.

Before she could fall down, she managed to balance herself and stand straight once again. But the weakness that she felt a second ago was still present.

'What has happened just now?' Tanzi pressed her fingers against her temples and asked the question to herself.
